This course is pricey, but well worth every dollar! The green is beautiful and the ocean in the background is breathtaking. If you're looking to treat yourself or someone that loves golf... this is a must try! Took my husband here for his birthday and he really enjoyed the course!
The staff at Monarch Beach Golf Links was incredibly helpful throughout the planning and execution of our tournament. They were very organized with social distancing and made the entire process stress-free! Anthony and Katy were especially helpful and very easy to work with. Anything we threw their way, they took it on happily.

2008 WW E92 M3 RB Service
I had my E46 M3 towed to MRF Engineering for inspection. When I arrived, Malek told me not to take the car off the tow truck unless I agreed to $10k in parts and labor. Over the phone he was courteous and said he'd gladly inspect the car, but the very next morning when in person he told me his shop was full and will not even touch my car. Big waste of time and money on towing back and forth.

Hands-down the fastest way to escape the city, and, with a few correct turns, be out of sight of any humans or man made buildings, etc., within 45 min (or less) from when you left IS |A city limits!
Best part is, several local buses will even take you here very cheaply. Great trails, very beautiful.
There is too many great things to do here than is possible to do justice with in a brief review. Get a good guidebook/map on this area, and Enjoy!
Highly recommended. Just get off your lazy butt on a day off w/nice weather, and GO HERE. You will not regret it.
With all this Covid-19 situation, we needed this park to do what they do best. Concert from comfort of your vehicle says safety 1st, all while living a little bit. Some rules weren't being followed by people and it didn't seem there was someone in charge trying to implement all that is stated on website when seeking details about event. I stay in my Lane so I still had a great time, but if rules won't be implemented maybe website needs to be updated to the actual flexibility of the place. ????✍

The connection to the parent organization combined with the knowledgeable coaches, has allowed my child to find out he loves soccer, which is the question we were all wondering. He has made numerous friends and advanced through the system as his skillet improves. Highly recommend for beginner or advanced players alike.
Terrible experience with the youth club organization. Arrogant, interested only in $ and colonizing Irvine parks. Just because they have European accent does not make a coach, as they need to learn/teach good sportsmanship first.
We have been very happy with the coaching and organization. My 8 year old daughter loves the practices and clinics, her interest in soccer has exploded since joining the Club team. We really like the coach's style of teaching and approach. This is a great club to be a part of.

If you want to get what you pay for, DON’T USE SAMLARC. I have had nothing but dead groundcover and weeds growing on the upward slope behind my house for years. Over a year ago we started dealing with SAMLARC, and try to get this situation fixed. We figured a little ground cover couldn’t cost too much. They sent the landscape crew three times now to chop down the weeds, throwing debris, rocks, branches and clippings into our backyard and up against the fence. Every time, the weeds grow back, and usually a foot taller since they keep watering them. Recently, they cleared all the dead brush and put in a few sparsely’s separated plants. Now it’s all weeds again! A GIANT WASTE OF MY MONTHLY FEES!

The games are "professional", and the times are good too. Saturdays and Sundays are great. Most of the times, the refs know what they're doing. But what I don't like are the teams. All games are usually "win by a lot" or "lose by a lot". There is no competition. Sometimes we win 50-20 or lose by 30 points. It's just not fair. Some teams have super good players, while others have newbies. I feel that SoCal should make the team selection more fair so that games will be more competitive and fun. I'm not so sure about this, but SoCal should choose which players go on which teams based on the tryouts, and not the coaches. Just makes sure that the coaches approve of the team before selecting them to coach it. Yes, I do believe that is a better way to go. It makes everything much more fun.
Another strategy that may work better is divisions. Yes, there are games divided by grade level, but there should be multiple groups within these grade levels. For example, there would be a beginner, moderate, and advanced bracket. That way, bad players won't feel as left out and bad than if they were on a team with really good players. Overall, I do feel that these two strategies are a great way to amp up the competitiveness of the league. I'd also like to point out that the discounts for coaches/assistant coaches are generous, and promote athleticism in a way.
Note that I am only talking about The League for these 2 paragraphs.
Next, I would like to explain on The Academy. The Academy is good for beginners - intermediates in my opinion. The drills are nice, and the stretching at the very beginning does promote good exercise habits. The coaches know what they're doing, and that's good as well. However, I can see the boredom on everyone's faces. Let's face it: Drills are boring. But what can amp up the fun, is being with friends. (It would seem likely that many IUSD students would go there, so students would likely meet friends). Pairing by friend group, instead of height/age/etc, would make the whole experience much better. It may seem as if I'm contradicting my earlier points when I mentioned that bad players may feel left out when they realize their friends are much better than them. However, pairing up with friends encourages sportsmanship, and motivates them to do better.
The camps are also 3 stars in my opinion. They usually start off with drills, and then end with games. The games are boring: the age levels are totally random and not many people know each other. Let's face it: going to one of these camps for the Spring break isn't fun. It is very unlikely their friends will go there, unless it's scheduled. After a few hours of the camp, all the coaches just stop and sit on the bleachers. They take out their phones, and tell the kids to just shoot around, which kind of defeats the purpose of coaching.
Save your money... This was the biggest joke for an organization that I have seen in many years. 300.00 later and horrible coaching and team experience. Our son is a seasoned 8yr old player and told me today that he wasn’t going back next week. We missed the opportunity to be on a travel team to be a part of a big fiasco.
Save your money find another organization for your children to be a part of.
Have heard good things about this!

Beautiful park. Nice concession stand. Green hills as backdrop. Small playground for little kids, 4 fields for softball. $2each person entry fee. Only a few miles from the beach.
Baseball fields are good. However, a 2 dollar fee to enter a public park? Today the baseball fields’ restrooms were closed. This is the first day of a three day tournament. Planning and maintenance??
A plumbing company was present half the day attempting to clear the blocked toilets. The odor was terrible.
The last games began at 5:00 pm under the lights.
The snack bar CLOSED at 5:00 pm. Planning??
I’ve been a fan of San Clemente for many years. However, someone on the city council needs to take a close look at this park and the maintenance of its restrooms and the Snack bar.
This should be a five star park. Someone needs to shake things up and make it so.
Perhaps installing doors on the toilet stalls would be a good start.

My son has attended Josh Baxter's Summer Soul Surf Camp every summer for 4 years and it is his favorite event not only of the summer, but of the entire year - better than Christmas or his birthday according to him. Every year he returns home sandy and sunburned with dozens of stories and a replenished soul. When I picked him up last Friday, he told me he wished he could spend every week of summer at this camp. The staff is incredible and truly cares about each and every camper's happiness, well-being and safety. They are responsive when questions are posed, and happy to give updates throughout the week. I don't trust everyone with my kid, but I trust Josh and his staff. My son said (and this is a direct quote), "most camp counselors just pretend to care about the kids, but Josh actually cares about us." That's the highest praise anyone can receive in my opinion.
What an amazing experience for our Kiddo's! We are on year #2 and look forward to this camp for years to come. Josh and his team know how to do it right!!!
The best experience every summer!!! I’m so happy Summer Soul Surf Camp is a part of my son’s life. Caleb has been a camper since he was 10 and it has changed my boy’s life. He is connected to the waves and he learned that here. It’s part of him. He leaves during the school year, but the waves always stay with him. It’s truly a blessing and a gift. Team Nikos has exceeded our expectations for our son and our family. We have been with Nikos for four years and the advances that he has made as a player, on and off the court, have been significant. The philosophy behind Team Nikos is one that aligns with our family values and what we want to instill in our children - work hard, be a team player, and you will see results. Team Nikos takes "one team, one unit" to heart and there is no other club that we would want our son playing for! We are fortunate to have had Steve Williams as not only the leader of Team Nikos, but as our head coach. He is tough on the kids, leads by example, and sets his expectations high so that the kids get out of their comfort zone and strive to be their best. The kids respect him and want to do their best for him. I would highly recommend Team Nikos to those families who truly want their kids to put in the hard work and be pushed to do their best with coaches and trainers who believe in them.
So I left a bad but honest review of Niko's on Yelp and one other place. In response the owner of Nikos, Steve William's called my work cell in a fit of anger while I was at work. After the second f-word I hung up on him because one of my co-workers was right next to me. He immediatly called the owner of 5onfivebasketball and told him that my family was banned from setting foot at Ladera Sports Complex. REALLY!!! I would not trust any positive reviews of Team Nikos. After posting the Yelp review, five positive reviews showed up a few days later to counter my bad review. They will do or say anything to get you to make that big NON-REFNDABLE payment for the year. Their previous ad's promised two coaches for every team but we only experienced that for a few months on one of my son's teams. Their marketing would make you believe that they have the best qualified coaches in SoCal, but lookup their coaches stats yourself. Not one of them even comes close to the credentials of the coaches at 5onfivebasketball. (Payton Banks, 30th best in Div 1 3 pointers, Terrence Samuel, NCAA Div 1 Champion at UConn) Their new head trainer Jason Wright is a good coach from what I hear, but Nikos bio on him made him look like a NCAA leader when he only led his conference in a few categories. Nikos is all marketing and hype, with a no refund policy. Avoid them at all cost!
This club charges $5,000+ a year. No thank you.
