03/20/2016 I booked a pro for today at 11:00 am and when I arrived, they told me that Ned was not going to be my pro but Pedra would be. When I began to play with him he was not the caliber of the previous pro I had - Anna yet the charged the same price. I am a 3.5 player and there were more balls on his side of the court then mine. Not a good sign. In the middle of the lesson I went to the front desk and I was told three weeks ago by my previous pro he would be $65/hour. After the lesson was over the front desk told me that was a promotional price. The reason I am not taking lessons with Anna anymore is because on the day of the lesson, the club called me to tell me that the High School is practicing Friday nights and we need to cut your lesson to 30 minutes. This was not going to be one Friday night but for several weeks. I had this time slot for several months. You would think the club or even the Pro, who had my cell #, would have given me a heads before the day of the lesson. I met a gentlemen in the locker room and told him of today's happenings. He also said that was done to him to. The club's integrity needs a lot of work.

Very good junior programs. Ned and Theodora are great with the kids. They teach not only the game, but etiquette as well. They also train and work with the kids on conditioning, which is very important. They offer specials for both kids and adults. Kristine Heslin

When my family had moved back to New-Haven my son wanted to continue to play violin. The school he was attending in New-Haven didn't offer string instruments.He was recommended for the Instrumental Impact program. He received 1/2 hour lessons once a week from a wonderful violin teacher Mark. The only issue I have is because my child is in this Impact program he Cannot change his instrument "EVER". I think this is absurd! why force a child to continue with an instrument when he wants to venture and try other options. My son is discouraged now and doesn't want to continue with the program. Music was a very big part of his daily routine and I feel bad that I cant afford to pay for the piano lessons that he wants. He told me not worry about. I did leave a message with the director Mr.Bloom and someone from the office called me and told that there was nothing Mr.Bloom could do about it. I really wish my sons school had a music program because it is a very important part of his life as it is for all children. So, sadly my son will not be apart of this program anymore. I urge parents to make sure they know all the information and ask more questions when enrolling your child in a program at NMS Impact program. I wish I had known this before he enrolled 3 yrs ago so he wouldn't have to be discouraged now. As a parent ,when a child has a positive interest , you try to do everything you can to encourage and support that interest. Its very hard when the Odds are against you !!

Horrible teachers. One of the violin teachers would yell at me for not able to catch up like her other students. She would also dis-encourage me telling me that i wasn't meant to play violin. Then she would tell me that i was the worst student she ever had and i should just quit. The other staff is very friendly so i will give it a 3 star.

Moving With Hope is an excellent facility! I’m a person who was hit by a tire that fell off a trailer heading in the opposite direction on the highway and the tire jumped over the median and went through my windshield and struck my face and left side. The accident left me with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and I will walk again with Moving With Hope! My accident occurred over 4 years ago and Moving With Hope is the most positive thing that’s happened to me since. Thank You! I will provide weekly updates on my progress!

Ashley was awesome to work with! Very accommodating, went above and beyond to make sure our party was perfect. Staff did an amazing job- can’t say enough good things about this place! We will definitely book another event here!!

Seats are not that cramped nor staircase that steep. Restrooms are always clean, but there aren't a lot of them, so take care of your business before the show and not during the intermission!

The Shubert Theater is a classic historical venue, with some modern touches added like restrooms on every floor and a nice lounge area. The staff is very friendly, and will help you to your seats also. The seats are a bit small but all have good views of the stage, including old school private boxes on either side. The variety of performances offered is large, from political debates to comedy shows, ballets & musicals. Signing up for the volunteer program is a great way to see these for free, I highly recommend this!

Beautiful theater downtown. The upper balcony seats are steep but you still get a good view of the stage. If possible, I suggest aiming for the box seats for the best view. I don't like small colleges, but this school wasn't too bad. Like any school, nothing will ever be perfect. As Dr. Camille begins his tenure as the new president of the school, I'm confident that things will head in a better direction. He's passionate about the students being successful and the school having a active presence in the community. You won't regret the education you receive, but maybe your pockets will... #fearlessfalcons

Truly a test of your skill as a golfer. Some tee boxes are in need of upgrading/repair/enlargement. Some parts of fairways need reseeding and better care. Greens are very difficult but well kept. Worth a play if you are in the area.

After two years of physical inactivity I read that Thunder Sports & Fitness, a new member of The Greater Waterbury of Chamber of Commerce, was offering a “Fitness over 50” workout session. Very nervously I made an appointment to check out Brian and his gym. I was warmly greeted by members finishing up an evening class. The space is exceptionally clean, bright and conveniently located so I gave it a try! Now as a member for over, year I have experienced Brian to be an excellent trainer who adapts the workouts for each person in a small group setting to reach their goals. He is motivational, flexible and respectful with all of his members no matter if they are in their 20’s, 80’s or somewhere in between. Brian’s commitment to his community and clients make Thunder Sports & Fitness the ideal gym for me to be a member of.

I turned 50 on the day of Brian's annual Open House, and I walked in and signed up. Best decision I've made in a long time. I knew Brian for a long time before becoming a client, and I knew he was a great guy. But not I know he is a great trainer, who designs specific workouts that maximizes your time, and concentrates on your needs. I've joined many gyms over the years, and I have had money coming out every month for gyms I stopped attending. But this is different. Only six months in so far, but I never miss a session.

I started in April at Thunder fitness. I was struggling with weight and not exercising. It was the best decision for me. Brian works with you to reach goals. He helps modify exercises to the level you can accomplish and helps you individually. Joining Thunder fitness has helped me have more energy, loose weight, and feel more energetic.
