My mom was a cancer patient here in 2016. She passed away in May 2016. I am grateful to the Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach staff and the young, but kind oncology doctors in training who treated her. I can't remember everyone's name, but I remember their faces and the kindness and sympathy they offered. I pray to this day, that God blesses them and their families.

Just came from FL and chose this hospital to give birth to my son, they were absolutely amazing the staff was great & the doctors were great. Thank you for a great experience especially being a new California Resident. Me & husband couldn’t have chosen a better place

Corrupt administration that cares more about what you're wearing than what you're learning. Defunct "Christian" values and bigotry taints what could have been an otherwise amazing school with a sad, dull atmosphere. I'd be lying to say all of the teachers are incompetent because I did have some who were amazing and went above and beyond to help me succeed, but I did encounter quite a few that either lacked proper credentials (being a private school) or an effective work ethic. Relentless homophobia and hypocrisy in religion courses, deans who take short skirts more seriously than bullying, and an almost nonexistent sense of any school spirit from the students, which is probably rooted in these underlying issues. I wouldn't advise you not to send your kids here, but definitely think long and hard before you drop $14k/year on a school that has students partaking in an ongoing joke about it being similar to a concentration camp.

By far one of the best schools in Orange County, California. They truly mold well rounded college bound students. Mater Dei is a super strict high school full of values and tradition. I hated it when I was a student because of how protective and strict they were, but I will forever be grateful for the education that they gave me (worth the money). Haters are going to hate! Guess we must me doing something right. 2010 MATER DEI GRADUATE Let's go Monarchs!!!

The facility should enforce people from not smoking in the range. It is technically outdoor but with the structure that partial sides and top covered, the smoke sticks around and not favorable for sensitive people. Please people, have the "common sense" that you are not at your backyard. Also, please wear the mask to cover your nose and mouth. I know it's hard to breath, but remember the thing called "COVID19"?

Pretty cool place to golf! Especially in this COVID times this is probably the only thing to do in this pandemic. I don’t usually golf so I decided to hit the golf range and man it was pretty fun! You don’t need to put the golf in the tee everyone you hit, they have an automatic tee that comes from the ground to refill your balls every time you hit! Perfect for me who just wants to have a good time and hit the ball

I frequent Brewcade since it is a few blocks from my house and I'm very passionate about beer. Aside from having a great beer selection, Brewcade also has a great bartender! Miller is always happy and welcoming whenever I come in! She's very knowledgeable with her beers and is always willing to let me sample them before acting deciding which one I want. She's fantastic! I highly recommend you come in when Miller is working, she won't let you down!

Came Out of the Park Pizza to watch UFC 207. They didn't have a cover but did take $10 for a ticket that could be used towards your bill. The place has tons of Out of the Park Pizza so you can catch the action anywhere, which is great because seating is super limited for a "sports bar". Service was kind of slow, but the manager made up for it with a complimentary beer. Otherwise great vibe and great times.

I called the Center nearly a month ago to get an intake. They finally called me two weeks later (they always call from blocked numbers, so if you miss it, good luck getting another one for at least a few days) and I was able to eventually schedule an intake. The intake call happened about 20 minutes later than scheduled. That is fine, as I also work at a busy agency and understand that crises can happen. The intake actually went very well and the coordinator let me know that a therapist would call me when they found a match. I got a call the next day stating that they would move me forward with services and to, of course, look for a number from a blocked line. A week went by with no call, so I called the intake office again and left a voicemail. It's been another week. Nothing. Center, many of the people who call you are in need of services. Perhaps I didn't appear to be in much of a crisis, and that would be true, but it does not mean that I am not in great need of services. I am. I would at least appreciate a courtesy call to let me know that you are unable to provide services at this time. Believe me, I work at a youth shelter; crisis abounds and it's difficult at times. But I would never leave someone hanging. I respect the work you all do, Center, especially as a member of the LGBT community myself who used to work in LGBT crisis work as well. But this is ridiculous.

I popped in for a STI screening and to get some general information about trans healthcare in long beach. Everyone who I talked to was more than cordial and understanding. I came in early, and was able to talk to the receptionist for a few minutes about what the center offered. Nobody really tried to rush me, and the two nurses who helped with my STI screen were polite and gentle. Even when I made it clear I historically have a hard time taking blood, they didn't try to force anything or try to fruitlessly stab me with the needle.

I'm sorry to hear that some changes have been made: We had 2 different periods for lunch, AP classes were offered & we only had one story for classrooms with grade school high drinking fountains.

San Marino HS is not what it is advertised to be. So before you spend that 2 million dollars buying a house in the district, know that: the academic offerings of the school are simply substandard for a HS in a district of such affluence. Kids are registering for classes for the next academic year now, and we have discovered among other things that: (1) there are NO classes offered in computer science/programming (2) there is NO AP Physics class of any kind offered, (3) no student is allowed to take a second science class, even as an elective (4) scheduling constraints (partly because all 1000 students from freshman to seniors have lunch during the same period) make it extremely difficult to take a full suite of AP classes during the four years of HS, which has been the standard at top academic high schools across the country for at least 20 years. The academic rigor of the curriculum needs to be improved, and there seems to be an unwillingness among the school administration to be responsive to these issues. The school puts students at a disadvantage for a number of reasons, not the least college admissions.

My teachers didn't make any effort to teach or mentor me while I was a student at SMHS. I was a misguided teenager that needed adult guidance. Instant I was neglected and treated with disrespect. My children will be attending a private school instead.

Nice courses! 3 separate 9 hole courses. East and North are the longer yardage courses. Pretty fun overall. They allow 5somes so there can be lots of waiting. The staff is very nice. Course needs some maintenance, but overall a decent course.
