We love the natural play area for our toddlers
Nice easy hiking with pretty lake and river views.

The NLDC is a gem hiding in the middle of the Northern Highland State Forest. It has an awesome 63-acre campus that includes Statehouse Lake. The staff is friendly and always willing to share their knowledge of all subjects nature-related with children and adults. Put a visit to the Discovery Center on your bucket list! Please consider being a volunteer; you’ll love every minute you spend offering your time and talent.
