I always loved playing ball here, both as a kid and an adult. All workers are parent volunteers so no one is paid! MAA is a parent run local nonprofit organization, and concession stand revenue is what keeps this nonprofit's lights on and pays for maintenance, just like every other non-city-owned ball park in the area. It's run by volunteers in the community, not a corporate food service staff! Great hot dogs and burgers.
Extremely rude management. Never have seen management like this before about coolers filled with WATER bottles!!!!! One gentlemen even heckled a pregnant lady and made her walk all the way back to her car with her cooler because he wouldn’t let her in. And just earlier today a coward by the name of Greg cornered my wife with his vehicle in the back parking lot and demanded that she leave the property, all my wife was doing was looking for a lost little three year old girls back pack. My wife actually called first and no one answered and after cornering my wife in the back parking lot, Greg the coward told her that he doesn’t answer unknown phone calls!!!! Get over yourself dude!!!
The place that baseball forgot....
It seems these fields have been abandoned for decades. Probably due to a severe shortage of parking.
Dont get me wrong, its a great place for practice, however, your infield grounders will be an interesting experience.
great old-time ballpark that has stood the test of time for almost 100 years allowing hundreds of children to play ball yearly
The fields are nice. Dugouts are well-made. My first and only visit here was on a saturday. Good luck finding a parking spot. It's one block south of Manchester road and everyone and their brother drives through here.
