Awesome experience, Brett was a great guy who answered all our questions and took the extra time to chat and let us take a photo through our Nikon DSLR. Would definitely recommend the experience to anyone in the area

Awesome site that is unfortunately not open to the public at night. The road to the facility is too steep for caravans. There is a place to leave them near to the turnoff if you're towing when you visit. There is a cafe onsite and access to the old observatory is free. The view from adjacent is spectacular. Well worth the walk up the relatively steep path.

Amazing!! place to visit, a must see for astronomers and great place to take your kids, the telescope is incredible and the views from the observatory are beautiful!! Lots of info to read including info on some of the other telescopes there building else where in the world, there's also a little cafe there as well with basic meals available.
