Looking at all the schools in Townsville I have to say that Robyn Gilchrist and her team offer the most professional curriculum. You can see first hand, Robyn's London connection which brings the highest levels to all her classes. literally their is no other dance school in Townsville that comes anywhere near the standards set out by Croft Gilchrist School of Dancing

Excellent teachers, staff are helpful, my daughter really enjoys her jazz and ballet and loves her teachers also, very happy overall with this dance school.

I highly recommend this place. Prices are fantastic and for the stuff this place offers you, you really can't get any better then this! My children absolutely loved visiting the science area of this museum as it was filled with interactive stations. The dinosaur exhibit was not as big as what I thought it would be but it was still in all very interesting. There is also a cafe inside of the museum so having lunch here is the perfect end to your tour.

I knew all about the "Mutiny on the Bounty" but was not aware of the story of the Pandora and the efforts of the Royal Navy to recover the “pirated” Bounty, and bring the mutineers to justice. Loved the info on how it all took place. The dinosaur exhibit is also very informative and realistic. There's a whole lot more to come and experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the hours I spent inside the museum. Staff were friendly and helpful. There's a great coffee shop if you need refreshments.

We visited this museum and we were very surprised we thought it would only be a small museum and we would have a quick look, it has so much to look at and read and is just beautiful we loved our time here and will definitely go back. It has fantastic ships models to admire and so much history. It is looked after by volunteers and they should be very proud of themselves for the beautiful museum they have put together. It is set on the marina and you explore each room that is set out with information. They even have a lighthouse. Great place to visit.

Cheapest squash courts around (join as a member). Could sit with a spruce up, but the floor is in an OK state. Walls are a bit marked though.

There are numerous facilities here. I attend the Aquafit classes which are held here every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning from 9 am to 10 am. This is a great group of ladies and a fantastic way to get fit. Staff are helpful and friendly.

We’ve been coming here weekly for over 4 years. The staff are excellent and the facilities are awesome. It gets busy in the summer but it doesn’t feel crowded. There are plenty of seats available and lots of shade. Plus there is so much pool room. In the cooler months the heated pool is excellent. I’ll admit, I tend to use the heated pool in the summer also. It has a little beach area the smaller kids can play on. The staff are very accommodating and always helpful. The swim school instructors are the most fun we’ve had. They provide a great play environment for kids to learn to swim. Oh yeah there is a water slide too. The kids loose they marbles over this. And yes I’ve had a go on it, it’s great fun. Highly recommended

A great place for a swim or to take the kids. They have 2 small waterslides which the kids loved and a great toddlers pool. The big pool is pretty impressive too but minimal to no shade over big pool. Minimal shade for seating within pool area but a great facility with change rooms and a tuckshop. $3 for kids entry and $5 for adults but beware if your kids are under 12 they will charge you an adult entry too even if you are not swimming. I thought this was a bit rich. Overall a great facility and it makes another place that you can take the kids.

I have managed to successfully lose weight and keep it off by training at Choi Kwando. After being sick and tired of being too heavy I changed my diet and started doing more classes at Choi Kwando. The instructors keep me sweating every time and I honestly enjoy it. I recommend Choi Kwando to anyone that wants to feel fitter and healthier.

Fantastic theatre, run by dedicated and caring staff. Every production I've seen there has been an intimate, well run affair. Drinks and small foods are available, but it is cash only. Would highly recommend visiting and getting tickets for a show

I attended this venue for the Swing Dancing event. The place unfortunately doesn't have a bar any longer but it's ok to BYO. It's great for small events and has a great vibe.

This is a lovely gym,clean and up to date equipment walked into and was shown around by Gemma, she explained what the fitness center could offer me especially with some injuries, so I signed up for a 12month platinum membership which includes PT per fornight..I think it is great value for money.I also was impressed with Dan as he was so lovely over last fews weeks sending me a txt and arranging times for me to see gym..Have a good feeling about this gym..townsville people you should go in have a look..You WON'T be disappointed.
