My lil guy was REALLY sick for 6 weeks and was wanting hot chips. On Drs orders thought we'd give it a go. So tried a few places that didn't REALLY rock our worlds then ended up doing a search for best hot chips in Armidale and neville's came up.. well we haven't gone anywhere else since.. By far the best burgers AND hot chips in Armidale!

Fantastic service and great food! The pub was run like a perfect oiled machine thanks to a little man by the name of Terry. Not only did his beard and full head of hair bring a bit of a wow factor to my night but his all round attitude made my night! Would highly recommend the Wicklow!

I have worshiped at the 730 am service here each year while attending a weekend school since 2009- with some others from the weekend school; one a prominent layman in Armidale Diocese As we left worship to continue the weekend school he said what was on all our minds, 'there is no need for a sermon to last 35 minutes: The young minister could have (and should have) said what he had to say in 15 minutes Brevity, economy of words, gets the message across far more clearly than long prolix sermons. The prior Dean the Very Rev'd Mr Williams knew this well.

Lovely Anglican Cathedral that has Hunt architecture. A good found system. Heated in winter. Still possible but get less and less to actually have hymns not song and once a month they have choral evensong. Just watch some of the services such as Sunday 6pm can get a bit happy clappers type atmosphere. As a Cathedral they get young ministers some of whom take a while to adapt to a High Church traditional Cathedral. Lots of activities to cater from young kids to Seniors plus a Mother's Union group. Scope to become involved in many aspects from grounds,garden committee to altar guild plus parish camps,training sessions plus the many committees that run the day to day activities.

This church is a place of worship first but the architecture of this church is amazing the builders of this church should be honoured for there perserverance to build a church of this size.and height and quality.I am in awe truly amazing building.

My toddler's favourite park in Armidale! LOVES all the play equipment, especially the split slide so we can slide down together, makes " croissants and coffee" in the little shop. Then we wander over the bridge to press the waterfall button. (His fav thing of all). Always a fun outing.

Great place for the kids, they love the waterfall that you can turn on from the bridge. Has a good playground to. Could do with more regular garbage pickup by council though.

I went to the council without an appointment to try and gain information on a nearby NBN tower. The customer service officer, Debbie Gwynne, could not have been more helpful or polite over the well over half an hour time period. As a result, this encounter not only helped quickly resolve a potential difficulty, it also made my day. She is a major credit to the Council and also to the city of Armidale.

This is a cute little museum. It has a focus on the white history of the Armidale region. Free entry and open every day. When I went in on Sunday afternoon, it was empty.

I only did the bowling here. The lane's electronics kept stuffing up and giving the wrong score and putting the wrong pins back down. I got a strike on the first go but it still said it was my turn and it put down one pin for me to hit. I hit that pin and then told me I got another strike... Then my friend was allowed to have a turn. Ohhhh well. At least I got an extra turn I suppose.

There was an error where our starter went out to someone else. It was rectified and we were also given drink vouchers for the bar. The food was great, service was above amazing and the building is fresh, clean and spacious.

Passing through Armidale and stopped for dinner. First in queue to order at 6pm. Ordered the pork roast. It arrived at 6.07pm. Due to an incorrect add, I got it for 13dollars instead of 15.50. Overall it was a nicely presented and ok for the price. The meat was a little overcooked, the peas under cooked. The crackling tasted awful, it was the only thing I didn't eat entirely. Tasted like it had been deep-fried in stale oil. The other meals I saw looked pretty good. By 6.20pm the queue was around the room and out the door.

Nice place to eat and have a drink, the food itself was disappointing though. Schnitzels are edible but not great, both mushroom and Dianne sauces tasted terrible.

I was a bit hesitant starting Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, but 3 years later I’m still loving it. Hugely welcoming group of guys and girls. Awesome for fitness, excellent for self defense (it’s practical and no “fluff”) and just a ton of fun. The Teachers are top notch (multiple black belts, brown belts, purple and more) and a great no matter your level. Really great community here.
