This place has amazing sessions about astronomy. You can witness planes , stars , galaxy supernova from your naked eye. The sessions starts with the day break. You’re briefed with a wonderful presentation about astronomy and then directed to the observation area where around 10 different types of telescopes are mounted. The staff focuses on different terrestrial objects and you get turns to observe from your naked eye. Amazing experience for everyone.

We had an amazing time, seeing far off stars and close up views of the moon, Saturn and Jupiter. It gives you a new perspective on just how small we are, and how big the universe really is.

One of the great rugby league breading grounds if Australia. Produced so many NRL stars. Great facilities, plenty of parking & undercover seating. Great place to watch the footy from anywhere

Dont come here if you are wishing to play laser tag. It's just a few guns and hiding behind some repainted office partitions and the owner of the place gets involved and plays too....or shoots you down if it looks like you're winning. Its in full daylight in an indoor basketball court. Not fun.

A pleasant place with friendly staff at a great rate. The pool is clean and so were the rooms. The dining room is a great place for a drink but they also can deliver to your room.

The staff are amazing. We broke down and ended up at the park. Not a planned stop but the staff we amazing in helping us out. Extending our stay. We will be back. Kids love the pool area, games room. They did Activites for the kids. One of the best caravan we have stayed in. Thanks for the amazing service

Great park which provides most of the things that you need for a relaxing stay. Plenty of activities for the whole family. Shady spots, pool, water park, jumping pillow. Most things we were a bit too old to use, but having the office open till 8.30 made it good for ice creams on the way back from the club next door. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean amenities. Great.

As soon as we arrived to check into Discovery Parks, the reception staff were so lovely. They told us a lot about Dubbo, and even though we were only staying for the night, they were clearly so passionate about where they lived. So much so, it made us wish we were staying longer! The park itself has great facilities. It is well laid out and very clean. We stayed in a safari tent, which was modern, well equipped, clean and comfortable. It was a little cold at night, but nothing to complain about (or be surprised over). There was a very effective split system which heated the tent quickly. Bathroom in the tent was great. Two shower heads was a novelty! We did go out for dinner, but we could have cooked if we wished to, as the kitchen had a hot plate and microwave. Bed was warm and comfortable. All in all, a really nice place to stay after a 10 hour drive from Melbourne!

I recently purchased a 2nd hand Cub Camper privately and was having a few issues with the set up and take down procedure. Went to Red Dirt Camping and they spent 20 minutes with me walking me through the procedure and restring the canvas. Great service, thanks guys.
