Amazing gym - supportive and welcoming atmosphere, wonderful teammates and top-notch teachers! Professor Julio is passionate about what he does and is an excellent teacher. When learning new techniques, he explains it in such a way that allows you to see all the possibilities of the technique and think about the bigger picture. He is patient, encouraging, and challenges you to be better. What I love about GB West Ryde is that regardless of belt, people are invested in the other's success, whether it be taking the time to give helpful advice or offering words of encouragement. And as a team it makes everyone better. Thanks, Professor Julio!

Fantastic place to learn martial arts. Prof Julio is the perfect instructor. Patient, knowledgeable, polite... but deadly!! All the staff at Gracie Barra West Ryde are excellent to deal with. Very understanding and are willing to help you whenever they can. All the students are very warm and welcoming and are all great training partners. I would recommend GBWR to everyone and anyone. Terrific establishment!! OSS!

Had an awesome experience with Andrew at the Gladesville Guitar Factory today. Andrew was extremely helpful and patient allowing me to try as many pedals and experiment as I pleased and even made me a coffee! I ended up buying 2 pedals, pedalboard, leads and strap locks and I can’t wait to come back to buy some more. Thanks for the experience, would highly recommend this store to anyone interested in music gear. Thanks.

Awesome shop with tonnes of top quality guitars and equipment. All the guys were very knowledgeable and passionate about the guitars and were great to deal with. Can't wait to go back.

Used to be great. Nice guys, knowledgeable but always understaffed, no response to emails. Service when given okay but no cup winners. Prices same - not overpriced, no deals. Selection good - lots of different names, not enough models. Will be looking elsewhere.

What is the point of this place? It’s two small rooms with nothing to see. I dragged my partner to a so called tapestry “exhibition”. There were 2 tapestries. There were more paragraphs in the description of the “exhibition” than there were tapestries. Now I may be partially at fault for having any interest in tapestries and that’s on me. But it was a total waste of time and a complete (but admittedly hilarious) farce. I will never go to this place again. No one should. But then again if you’re into the ironic and masochistic sort of fun thing - it’s probably worth a stroll. Put aside 30 or so seconds. It’s all you’ll need.

Box It Out has changed my life! A fun and stress free environment, with a welcoming team and knowledgeable trainers. It has 100% helped my health, both physical and mental. Which has lead to losing those kilos! The support I have been given has been so valuable. I feel so much more capable to reach my goals now and it's so nice to have someone who cares in my corner. There's no other group fitness class like this. I highly recommend.

I have been a member of Box It Out for almost a year now and I love it. It is a fun way to get in your exercise or just to let your frustrations out after a tough day. I look forward to each class & always feel great after.

My job involves shift work so I have always found it difficult to get into an exercise routine that I can actually stick to. Box it Out has been so good for me because there are classes on almost every week night and even one on Saturday mornings. I am able to attend the classes around my work and staying with the routine is easy because I’m excited when I can go to the classes. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, the social aspect almost helps you forget that you’re exercising! Thanks for making working out fun Deanna and all of the Box it Out team ????

We highly recommend the Wacky Pack - Smart Art Start. The creative activity pack has everything your kids need to keep busy either at home or during school holidays. It's perfect to take away on trips or to lunch and keeps my kids entertained without screens. My boys are telling all their friends how much they love their packs!! A really fantastic creative space where my 3 year old daughter is able to be free and choose different artworks and ideas to create. With lots of inspiration in the space to help her and also the amazing help from Tami showing her new techniques and possibilities we thoroughly enjoy our time at wacky workshop and love everything it is teaching both myself and my daughter!

The Wacky Pack has brought curiosity and loads of laughs to our dining table – I say that because the drawing games became a real family affair and everyone wanted to participate. Maybe it’s not just for kids!? :) I personally think the best feature is that the pack is neatly packaged and all-inclusive ...It comes with pencils and even blank paper – We slipped ours in the seat pocket of the car and didn’t have to remember to add anything! The frame is a wonderful touch as it encourages the kids to keep and treasure their efforts. In a world that is so ‘throw-away’, it’s a valuable lesson! Highly recommend this product to any parent who is tired of being nagged to play on a screen!

Beware of their refund policy! I was assured that if the birthday gift I was purchasing wasn't right, all I'd have to do is keep the tags, the receipt and return in 14 days, and I'd get a full refund. It turns out not to be the case. I had to fill out a form that is sent interstate for approval. Apparently it'll take up to 7 days but that I also needed to take into account the public holiday (Australia Day). How "un-Australian" their policy is. I asked to speak to the manager who turned out to be the same person who sold it to me 6 days earlier. She confirmed that what she said was true but that their receipt says about their return policy. Nowhere on the receipt does it say this. Like them, I wish I had the choice of having 7 days to decide if, after taking an item home, I want to purchase it or not. I've purchased from their shop a number of times over the years but never again. It's a shame because they have fabulous stock. I'm not going to support a local business who treat customers like this. I wonder if now that I've posted a review I'll be put in their naughty corner and refused a refund!!

I was looking for something a little out of the norm, whist there did not have exactly what I wanted they were able to put a few items together that did the job perfectly. Excellent service. A real gem of a place for costumes ????????????????????

Awesome! Huge! Mind blowing the amount of costumes and accessories in store. Needed a Cat in the hat costume for our granddaughter, no problem. Staff helped straight away. Need a costume-got to go to costume land.

Great Park for families with kids! Heaps of play areas, tennis courts, kids slide, cricket oval, bbq area and a quick outdoor basketball and table tennis area. Park is great to talk your four legged friend for a walk too around the oval (on a leash) as per council rules stated.

This is such a wonderful park. A lot of people come here for morning runs, or afternoon play/bbq etc. There are good tennis courts ( u have to book in) and an Oval. A long walk and kids bike track. I do think the have lots of excercise meet ups in the park as well. Kids love the flying fox and the hammock swings. . Lots of trees and shade around if you are throwing a birthday party or gathering. Only reason I am giving it 4stars is that the enclosed kiddie play area is a bit far away from the older kids play area. That means if u have a couple of kids of different ages , you have to run between the two areas or take another friend/family along. Found that a inconvinience.It would have been easier if they were closer, then mum/dads wont have to run about . :D. But this is a mild inconvinience. Its a great park really!

Food and service is always great, just wish they did all day breakfast especially on the weekend. They do a mid week lunch special that is worth a try... They have outdoor seating that is dog friendly which is perfect when the weather is nice.

Easy to get to either by bus or driving. Free local parking. Very clean showers, changing rooms and best part free shampoo available. Oh and free lockers. Quiet pool with nice view also near by cafe. Walk under 10mins and your in Birkenhead Point Shopping Center. Rates are reasonable.

This place is the best! It has really great swimming pools - really long and a few lanes for slow swimmers, Perfect option for a quick swim after work or even lunch time to release the stress from work. Its inexpensive and very popular usually.
