This is by far the worst business I have dealt with. They wait until you pay, 24 hours later supply you with terms and conditions you did not agree to; When the weather conditions are severe thunder storms, 95% rain, severe flooding they expect a group of AUTISTIC CHILDREN to still attend despite attempting to cancel (without the office responding) 24 hours earlier. We have video footage of the neighbors swimming on the back patio due to this flooding; Then when we attempt resolve- were told they would call us on Monday- they never called; We were threatened with a harassment order if we contacted them again. I wish to share this awful experience with all to raise awareness of local businesses who steal from families who are already dealing with enough. **Further to your response- I only paid 2 days prior to the event. There was no mentioned of "7 days cancellation" and clearly this would be impossible. This policy is not released until after payment is taken it is still not relevant. I did not stumble across your terms and conditions until I was urgently seeking an emergency contact number to reach you. Furthermore, My original invoice- clearly labelled invoice, nothing more was incorrect- over charging us some $150. I was forced to stop my email communication with you as I was not being responded to quickly enough thus not given the opportunity to even send invitations to the children to gain an RSVP! We had no reason to advise you of any medical conditions (and at no point were ever asked if any persons involved suffered with any conditions. We reasonably assumed (as no conversation took place) that as is similar with children's sporting events, given severe weather events it would be called off in such conditions for safety reasons. You were not available to discuss any wet weather plans. In fact, I was advised at the time of booking you cannot guarantee the space used for the event even has shelter- to provide this ourselves. We have receipt of the gazebos and seating we had hired as a result of this discussion! If at any point you were available to talk- which you were not', you could have advised us on any of this and not attempt to defend yourself with such unknown information after cancellation took place. When I reached the emergency contact lady she suggested we rebook- I advised her this was not possible as the children attending the party have their own back to back parties scheduled thus giving us no availability to do so. I advised her as per my son's medical disorder and the fact the you made yourself unavailable to converse (not our problem you were unavailable) we were stuck. No knowledge of your terms and conditions left us with may questions, concerns etc hence why we needed to speak with you to discuss the holes in your poor procedures. She said- her own brother is Autistic and could not play in the same conditions. Given the medical condition and the fact you were not available to converse she would see no reason why a refund would not be given and would have you call us Monday. Hence why we made other urgent arrangements. The you failed to call us. This is why we are so upset and further horrified that you are pretending to be a helpful person when all you have done is make every effort to avoid us. The prolonged lack of resolve creates unhappy customers. You have an obligation to provide service no matter how tricky the situation may feel. Do not hide behind your poor staff who have been placed in unfair situations. When I request to speak to a manager regarding extreme safety concerns and thunderstorms and flash flooding (heaven forbid one of the children is struck) and I entitled to that. As far as being offered an indoor alternative- she did this at 5pm! After she had told me there was nothing she could do without talking to you and we had agreed that I would have to book and pay for another venue as she had no idea when you would be free!

My kids range from 26 to 7 years old and have had heaps of birthday parties at laser skirmish for over 20 years. Yes, since my son was 5! This is local a family business who genuinely care about their customers and staff. I have found them a very professional entertainment business. Highlights have been my oldest’s 18th birthday and my youngest’s recent castle-themed party. The kids and their classmates love it and it’s great when siblings/mums and dads join in, too. Lots of happy times. As a mum and a teacher I’m always advising kids about reducing screen time and being active. Laser skirmish is like online games but with the fresh air, exercise and excitement! We will keep booking birthday parties for sure!!! Totally recommend.

I was delighted to find this museum, as it was unexpected in the centre of Brisbane. General Douglas MacArthur set-up the Allied HQ for the Pacific Campaign during WW2. The museum explores and explains the changes imposed on Brisbane by the demands of 750,000 allied troops billeted around the city. The museum is on the 8th floor, and compact but very interesting and worthwhile.

Just as it says, General Douglas MacArthur's HQ in our own Brisbane. Great volunteer staff who greet you and guide you to MacArthur"s office/museum and very helpful and informative. Good information, videos and displays of the war and of course MacArthur's office itself. Walk where MacArthur walked and worked during this terrible time in our history and feel the history and perhaps the man's presence from a time past.

Lucas and the team are all very professional and approachable and make the lesson not only educational but really fun. Only 3 kids to a class so they get a lot of hands on attention and the heated pool is a great size.

Great swim school have both my daughters in for last 2 years. We had very difficult crying kids but they worked with both girls till they are now happily swimming and love to jump in the pool . My older girl had massive issues with deep end and they spent a lot of time making her comfortable in deeper water. She now happily jumps down in deep water and swims very comfortably.

We love the flexibility of the makeup lessons as my daughter is often unable to attend her regular class. The fact that there are only 3 children per class is an added bonus. Highly recommended.

This school is a disgrace. After my two children had attended at the school for nearly 10 years, having paid thousands of dollars in fees, always paying immediately upon receiving their invoices, buying presents for the teachers from my children, missing numerous lessons and not using the make-up lessons, I was hounded for months for payment of a $76 fee because I chose to leave the school by giving two weeks notice instead of four. There is no way the school was out any money with two weeks notice being provided. They had plenty of time to fill my children's spot which I have no doubt was filled almost immediately upon me providing the notice. Not only that, but over the years I have referred many others to the school, and my cousin who was only a few days short of providing four weeks notice when she stopped her children attending, was hounded and chased for a $4 payment!! To make matters worse, I was basically called a thief for refusing to pay the $76. I ultimately made the payment after being threatened with a debt collection service. Absolutely shocked that the school would treat a customer of nearly 10 years in this way. Their only concern is for fees. Would not recommend to anybody.

My son has been swimming since 5 months old with Stretton. From the first lesson he has loved it. The staff are excellent and the program is excellent for babies as we can really see his swimming developing. The way he has been taught works as the babies spend the full lesson time in the water that makes a huge difference. At 8 months old he is now anticipating when he is falling in the water and can be under the water for a couple of seconds. Can't recommend them more and their flexible / online booking system is so easy and great to catch lessons on.
