This community center is truly a place for the whole family. The pool - indoor and outdoor - is fantastic. The library, meeting rooms, gymnasium, and indoor track are all wonderful as well. The library is free to use, but most of the services and facilities require a membership or a daily use fee.

The men's bathroom had one stall locked from the inside and the other stall had feces smeared all over the place...the floor, the walls, the stall door, the toilet. Worse yet it was dried on as if it had been there for several days...Yikes!. The staff at the facility really doesn't care and it shows.

ISC consists of professional coaching that emphasizes player development above winning. More and more research is showing that this approach is not only the most effective, it's also the most rewarding to children in terms of their skill development AND character development. Also, ISC's rules for parents are outstanding. In a time marked by ubiquitous toxic sideline parent-coaching, watching with other parents on the sideline of ISC games is positively pleasant. This club is a great gift to our youth, to the Iowa City community, and to this generation of players in the beautiful game.

Top-notch classes here. The group sizes are small, so each child gets a lot of individual attention. My sixth grader took coding classes here over the summer and learned HTML and Javascript, which she can build on to learn other programming languages. Ruby, the owner and head instructor, is fantastic, with a wealth of technical expertise gained from her many years in the tech industry. If you have questions or concerns, she'll get back to you promptly. Highly recommend.

This has been a great addition to our homeschool year! My son loves going to class each week and comes away with loads of new information every session. Ruby makes it fun and interesting for him. Worth every penny! Thanks Ruby!

The homeschool technology class was excellent! My daughter looked forward to class each week and learned lots. Ruby is an excellent teacher and my daughter really enjoyed each class. She was sad to have the class end. We are looking forward to the next session!

Had a interview and the lady said she would get back to me. She never once called back to say anything. Every time I call there she never answers her phone. They will not let me talk to anyone but her.

The owner of Purple Bloom is one of the most kind-hearted people I’ve met in a long time. The school is comfortable, positive, and welcoming. I have loved every minute of it!
