I had always wanted to do yoga, but never quite got around to it. Got a kick in the bum when I had to have back surgery at age 37. After recovering I thought, I’m finally going to do this thing. Started with the 5 week beginners course which was such a great intro, really made me feel knowledgeable and comfortable. Have been going as often as possible since then and I love it. I do yin and also flow and love them both. The instructors are really great and always make sure you are safe and using good form. I really couldn’t be happier to have finally started my yoga journey and these guys have made it that much easier and more fun!

Very good location, walking distance from darling harbour with a light rail station. Clean gym . Has sauna, steam room too. And very clean, ive seen staff clean and prepare at closing time. It is a well looked after place! Cap it off with a good view of the cbd at night too.

This is my favourite pool in Sydney! I’m super beginner of swimming but there is a wide free lane so I can swim very slowly. They provide swimming boards so you just need to bring swimwear and towel. Nice Sydney city view is a bonus! $7.5 for an adult and you can spend a day at pool.

Great service provided by Mark and Yura. Very professional and were patient to get all our newborn photos despite not having a very sleepy baby at the time. You can tell that they are parents, Yura was so good with our baby, very gentle and caring. Both were up-to-date with their vaccines and their studio was warm and cosy so baby wouldn't get cold during prop changes. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Looky Looky at all.

Versatile and super cute photostudio run by a friendly husband and wife photographer duo. We had initially had only wanted newborn photos, but after receiving them we fell in love and had to go back to do his 100day photos (and later on his 1year photos). They are experienced and patient with dealing with babies, and understand that you can't always have a smiling baby. They were kind enough to allow us extra time to feed our bub and for him to have a nap before continuing with our session so we could get some photos of him smiling (they were the ones who suggested it, proving that they are true professionals who strive for great photos, whereas other places would just shoot and not care whether the baby is smiling or not). Overall, very happy with my experience with LookyLooky photostudio, highly recommended ????

I have been coming here for a little while, but now I am over it. Staff at the reception is hopeless. If you come for a swim, more often then not only 3/4 of the lanes/hot water pool will be available to you, as everything else will be busy with their programs which is all they care about running, but happily charge you full price. And I have just found out they will be closed from 16/12 to 26/01, which is crazy. Who closes during summer time?

I've been training here for over a year and a half and here are my thoughts... TL:DR - I love training here. If you want details why (and I am super detailed), keep reading. I started out with these objectives in mind: 1. I wanted to be mentally stimulated as well as exercising my body 2. I wanted to do something that I can actually use in a fight if I had to 3. I wanted to do something that I can do for a long time without worrying about my body breaking down 4. I didn't want to be in a community of Neanderthal meat-heads Here are some of the qualities that make me love to continue training here: 1. Tradition – our Grand Master, Derek Fung, is one of the original disciples of the legendary Ip Man and has dedicated his life to Wing Chun for 63+ years. What this means to me is this guy is the real deal - he does not teach from "something he saw over the internet" - he teaches from a deep pool of traditional knowledge passed down from generation to generation tempered with real life skills and experience. 2. Practical – our Instructor Mike Tran is the flip side of the coin who adds the more practical, "street" element of our Wing Chun training. He makes sure that we can take care of ourselves if we ever get into a position of having to fight. He is our leader of the beginner class and he, like the Grand Master is legitimate in both his Wing Chun and life experience. 3. Real growth – My biggest challenge with any martial arts is my lack of motor coordination and athleticism. However, Wing Chun has trained me to use both sides of my body equally as well as increase my balance and spatial awareness. Chi Sau and sparring exercises with pads and equipment is fun and educational. But more than that, it's the mental side. My mind is much more focused and I am learning things that I am applying to other aspects of life. 4. Great teachers – I am amazed at how fast I can learn things that I never thought I can do. The modules that were created by both Grand Master and Instructor Mike are accelerating our learning the “mythical” Wing Chun stance. 5. Traditional Values – Grand Master and Instructor Mike are both great people that I admire as people and are great role models for the community. I’m not saying that they’re perfect – they are human – but they both exemplify what’s best about traditional Chinese/Asian culture. Here are the qualities that may or may not turn you off: 1. Culture – both Grand Master and our Instructor Mike does not need your money - they do it because they love Wing Chun and are dedicated to the art. This definitely creates a problem for who come in with an attitude like, "I pay you - so you need to teach me." The other type of people who will struggle is people who think they know everything about Wing Chun already. If you already know everything, why are you here? On the other hand, if you come with an open mind and a willingness to learn, you will see that all of us are friendly and engaging and we welcome all potential students to come and try us out. We do have a lot of fun and we are laughing all the time but on the other hand, we do train hard and make the most of the time we have because... 2. Time commitment – this martial art is an ART. The super-effectiveness of the art is not something that can be learned in a few lessons. If I have to name a complaint, it's the steep learning curve to learn the really cool stuff and it takes a lot of hard work and practice. 3. The people – the people I train with are all good people who want to learn and grow together. We are a pretty diverse group, which includes me, a Japanese-American (I openly mentioned this to the Grand Master and Instructor Mike the first day - they looked at me like, so?). This is a tight knit community based on our commitment to Wing Chun and our community. However, we welcome everybody to come and try it out and see for yourself. Again, it's not for everyone but for those who are looking for authentic, traditional martial arts, you've come to the right place.

The guys here are wonderful, helpful and truly connect with the kids. My daughter has been coming since she was just over 3 years old and she’s going on 7. She’s one of the smallest and lightest kids and she’s grown confident to take on the bigger and heavier boys, rolling around conditioning her body and mind. This is not a post about my daughter winning but more about a story of a small girl who was bullied by aggressive kids to learning the BJJ way of life, respect, gaining confidence, perfecting technique and showing love for herself and others. I’m indebted to these guys and the dojo for teaching my daughter long life skills. Proud Mum.

Non-responsive admin, random invoicing, confusing communication regarding programs, and poor communication with therapists on day programs. My son was booked onto the wrong program, I was given 40 minutes notice to collect him, he was highly distressed. When I cancelled the second date with 72 hours notice, I was made to fight for a refund which I have still not received in full. Emails go unanswered for weeks. The reports are generic and could be written about any child. Furious that organisations out there are cashing in on children's disability funding rather than providing an organised service that children feel secure and happy going to.

I did an Occupational Therapy university placement at Kids OT and it was phenomenal. There was a very steep learning curve, learning new strategies, concepts and practices and then being able to practically apply them. They were supportive and encouraging throughout my placement and really fuelled my passion to one day work in paediatrics. The rooms are all themed, targeting different areas for child development. All the equipment is safe and clean and facilities are well maintained. I would highly recommend this Practice to other students as well as to families.
