I enjoy attending Garth's classes. He does warm ups and post class stretches which in my opinion are vital. He caters for most age groups and fitness levels. There are times when we get pushed, but come main self defense mode, they are useful for real life scenarios and situations. I recommend anyone who wishes to get fit and learn how to deal with potential threats, and in some cases save your life. Keep up the good work Garth.

I was super anxious about learning to roller skate but after finally making it to a RollerFit class I'm SO stoked. The classes are very fun, with a relaxed and non-threatening vibe for newbies like myself. The teachers are attentive and are able to provide support for a range of levels within the class. 10/10 will definitely be getting a class pass.

I love RollerFit so much. I started about 5 years ago now. Such a great form of exercise. Works general fitness, great for core, and lots of balance. It also improved my skating so much when I was still doing derby. I love how it caters to every level from someone who just put on skates for the first time to the most experienced skaters and helps you progress constantly without being pushy (i.e. at your own pace). Also, I love that there are several RollerFit locations where I can use my class pass and now regularly attend the Central Coast classes. They also have Orange, Newcastle and Melbourne. BEST!!!

Marvin sold us a year worth of membership, although we only wanted to come play social badminton once. We came back with friends after new years, of course there are no more social badminton sessions we can join. The other, younger staff only just said nothing can be done, no apologies or anything. Dodgy liars! I saw the below posts about staff abusing children as well. Don't go near this place!

I started Fencing at the Sydney Sabre Centre early in 2017, from the first lesson I was hooked, John & Frances who run the centre are great, they make you feel so welcome; the classes are fun, well structured and easy to follow. Everyone who I've encountered at the club has been encouraging and friendly, its got a real family vibe and I look forward to going each week. I started sabre fencing at 47 so its definitely a sport for all ages, I cant recommend Sydney Sabre highly enough, if you ever had the urge to give it a try, you would be hard pressed to find a better place to start.

Absolutely in love with this place and people here! Everyone here was so approachable, friendly and patient. Even someone like me, who is not so talented in sports, found fencing fun and manageable. It's been 6months since I started fencing. Now, Sydney Sabre is not just a place where I learn/do the sports, it's also a place where I can laugh and have fun with like minded people. Five starts are not enough, can't recommend this place anymore????

Run out of a warehouse style building, they offer term classes for kids K and older (grouped by skill and age group). $190 for 10 classes per term. Very good quality instructors. Seems to be very popular since they are booked solid every term for most classes. Classes are offered Mon-Fri after school, and Saturday mornings. All info on their website. Parking is on the street (free). There is a restroom on premises, with handicap access.

My 'go to' studio for the last couple of years and still loving it. The teachers are experienced, well trained and very knowledgeable. They were also fantastic at accommodating me in class throughout my pregnancy. I've been a regular yoga practitioner for over a decade and I would say this is one of the more authentic studios out there (not just a place for strutting leggings).

I'm a regular at Yoga To Go and I love the school. I go to the Wed and Fri 6:15am classes most weeks. It's hard to get up early, esp in the winter but it's always worth it. Sarah is a great teacher - she always goes the extra mile to make sure everyone gets the most possible out of every class. Come join us!

My 3 daughters have been learning Kung Fu here for the past year. It is a great school, that teaches self defence, confidence and values. There are so many martial arts academies in the Inner West. We chose this one for their sense of community. They also have sessions that we can attend 6 days a week and not commit to a particular day - we can attend as little or as much as we wish. I would highly recommend this school if you are comparing the inner west martial arts varieties.

We played this team in the Kanga cup under 10 plate division 2015. And i was utterly disgraced by the behaviour of the parents during this game. They Started unorganized and no idea of the rules not very professional for an "academy" club, then during the game parents were name calling to our kids. There kids swore at our kids. Then to top if off at the end of the match they called the referee a not nice name in front of the kids. Our team and parents never once spoke like this to your kids or parents. We dont roll like that as its not teaching our kids anything by being a bad sport expecially not to other children were mums and dads not bullies. Your parents made your club look bad. Wouldn't send my kid to northbridge academy.

First time at the Sydney International. Had an amazing time. Lovely crowd and atmosphere. Food was reasonably priced and there were lot of food trucks on site. Plenty of parking spaces are available nearby and cost $25 for the whole day. Toilets are clean and well maintained. Overall, a day well spent.

Went to see the ATP Cup a few weeks back and it was excellent. Only issue I found was the echo in the arena, and as a result the post match interview could barely be heard. I understand there is probably a few things such as dampening that still need to be done following the redevelopment, so hopefully those things will get sorted out ready for next year. I'll adjust my review if so. I'd also like to mention some of the seats were missing their number tags.

I tend to agree with everyone's comments here. Slow to take action. When you have an issue, it takes a long time for someone to come E.g. complaints about people dumping rubbish or noise pollution. They don't follow up or get back to you even after a number of calls or emails. When you get a case manager, their phone always rings out. If you are lucky and get them on the phone 10 seconds later they say they are "busy" and need to hang up the phone. No call back, I had to chase them up. Talk about service. However they are more than happy to point a finger and "instruct" people to do things. Not sure if they are under resourced, but possibly one of the worse councils. If this was a private enterprise they would out gone out of business a long time ago!

As part of our Christmas party we had two cartoonists and one magician attend to provide entertainment. This was an adult event (ages between 23 and 45), and there was a line up to get an cartoon of oneself. So we kept both busy all night - we had 110 guests). They did individuals, other guests put a group of 3 or 4 together. The magician roamed between the two rooms we booked. I still don't know how he did his card tricks. He was very easy going as he miggled and asked various questions etc about the trick he was performing. A thoroughly enjoyable time was had by all.

This camp has the potential to be great however the delivery of the program, in my experience, was sub-standard. Not all of the advertised activities were run. Some activities were token at best. Review of the Brisbane Cartoon Camp.

So much fun! I went to the cartoon camp in South Caulfield Melbourne recently and had a blast. We did drawings, played games and I even helped with the cooking. I made some new friends. I hope the camp is running again next holidays.
