A warm and friendly dance studio with fun and welcoming group classes and really helpful and thorough private classes. I've danced there for 3 years and found it be a great environment for beginners and intermediate. Kevin and Riana are very special people and excellent teachers - they make something that can be quite challenging fun and achievable with their step by step approach and cool music. Highly recommend. Everyone should start dancing!

Kevin and Riana create a welcoming and enriching environment for dancers of all levels to feel a sense of belonging and purpose at dance class. Kevin and Riana are fun, energetic and very skilled at what they do! They bring the perfect amount of discipline and energy to motivate their dancers to become better dancers, but also develop a passion for dance. Dancers are encouraged to challenge themselves to achieve new levels of technique. There are many competitive opportunities for showcasing your acquired talents, as well as time to join in social dancing for fun. Kevin and Riana use contemporary music, often the latest releases. Training and expertise like this cannot be found anywhere else in Cairns! My husband and I went to Just Dance to learn wedding dance for our wedding in June. We chose the gold wedding package which is 10 class for $380. We were told that we just need to pay $350 with cash. We paid cash without getting a receipt. We then had the first class with Kevin, the owner of Just Dance, on last Friday. In the first class we were only taught 3 basic moves and my husband was not even taught where to place his hand properly. We are beginners that's why we wanted to have private lessons. We only found out the right way to hold each other when we looked at the wedding lesson on Youtube after we went home. We felt the money was wasted on the first class. We were going to give Kevin the second chance. However, I twisted my foot and not suitable to dance for a few weeks. My husband called Kevin to cancel the 9 lessons left in the package this afternoon. In the beginning Kevin said he will charge us $60 for the first class. When my husband asked whether he could charge us less as one class equals to $35. He said he will charge us $20 more for administration fee. Excuse me? We were never informed of the administration fee , nor the cancellation policy before. Even now they are unable to show us the written cancellation policy to support the $80 they took from us is reasonable. Kevin also told my husband this afternoon he couldn't give us the refund back until next Tuesday as his whole family was flying out to Brisbane this afternoon. The dancing studio was going to be shut until he comes back. Excuse me? We booked the second lesson with him on Thursday. When were we going to be told the lesson is cancelled if we didn't call. When we went to the studio tonight, Kevin was teaching a lesson with around 10 students! When we questioned him, he said he cancelled the flight ticket to Brisbane. Isn't this place going to be shut until next Tuesday? How come there are so many students in the class tonight then? We share our experience just to warn the future students.( If you are still going to choose them after reading this review): 1. To try the lesson before you book it to see whether the lesson meets your expectation 2. Asking for the cancellation policy before you pay because you might find you will be ripped off when you have to cancel the lessons

Cairns Art Gallery - absolutely beautiful local and regional works of art right now! Free entry. Air Conditioned. Free baggage check. Easy to see all in well under an hour. The have some great exhibits and they are always changing so it's worth keeping an eye on the calender to see what's on. They also run workshops and have activities for kids. Entry to the exhibits is free but you can and should make a donation when visiting. The shop has some lovely gifts that are reasonably priced and there is a cafe on site. Well worth a visit if you are in town and like art

The only paddle board hire shop where they offered up some advice on where to surf - very helpful since I'm a beginner. I tried another hire place that who didn't want to help at all! The guy doing the rentals is great! Even proactively recommending to me a different size board based on the surf conditions. Great bunch of genuine helpful people! Keep it up! :)

Awesome little local surf shop that's been around since the dawn of days. Probably out dates Fremantle Prison. Bill, the owner, founder, CEO and executive manager of Mircoso... Surf Mania is super friendly, and really helpful. I've always found his advice to be genuine. It helps to shop with some knowledge of the product you're after; however, if you do find yourself unsure he is someone I've come to trust to provide honest feedback. Great business model that focuses on looking after the customers needs, which has create a large return base. I would recommend new comers to check it out. Plenty of great surf shops around, though this would be a personal favorite.

The customer service at Surf Mania was outstanding.. I felt so welcomed and really appreciated the kind attentive service :) The range of surf clothing that they have there was fantastic. I highly recommend getting into the paddleboards. It was so much fun. Thanks guys for the great service

I work with Karen, or she works me, one on one. With a tear in my shoulder to deal with, she is doing a good job. My balance has improved as is her counting going higher up each exercise we do. I am doing more and more. I enjoy coming to see her each week, actually look forward to it..

Says it’s open everyday, hasn’t answered calls or emails from our group wanting to book. Went there to try our luck, gate was open (no CLOSED signs) no one was there. Completely barren. Stupid.

The bowling was fine. Service needs a make over. I used the sanitizer at the desk and it was faulty causing a stream to shoot onto my pants. No one was at the desk to assist with a napkin and they stood there staring at me. Very disappointed as my pants are equivalent to their weekly wage.

Had a good bowl but unfortunately the staff are so unorganised out of all the staff there was only 1 register open with very sliw service after being closed due to covid-19 everything especially staff should be A1.the older lady with blonde hair is a rude obnoxious

Definitely a Must-do in Cairns! Great experience, stunning views (sunrise, green field, lakes, ranges), awesome staff and very good service. Pick-up was very on time and our balloonist did a great job. It's very safe and suitable for all ages. We enjoyed it very much! Highly recommend!????

I ordered a 30 minute balloon ride. The bus that picked us up from our hotel was timely and the driver was above and beyond; serving not only as a driver but a helpful tour guide as well. Arriving at sunrise, the balloons were awaiting and everything moved ahead timely. Our pilot, Josh, was fantastic. The views were spectacular, especially the wallabies below. I would recommend this to anyone. Pictures are also taken aboard which serves as great memories of a great experience.

I recently meet Chris when I came over to Cairns on a Kite Surfari trip. Absolute Gem of a man. From the off set as a beginner surrounded with a lot of experienced kites, Chris advice, knowledge and equipment literally gave me the click moment I’d been craving. Thanks a million mate, you’ll be forever the man who made it all come together. Look forward to crossing paths in the future. Highly recommended!!

Met Chris while on a recent trip to Kite Surfari. Great guy; positive patient and extremely helpful, lent me a brand-new Nash bar with 20m lines on for several days, loved it so much I purchased it! Would be happy to do business with again.

Chris was very generous with his gear, local knowledge and kiting tips. Helping me get on the water when my own gear did not cut the mustard. I highly recommend him and his excellent equipment to anyone fresh to kiting the northern beaches of cairns.

Awesomely great place for kids parties. If you are looking for a place to let the kids loose and relax at the same time this is it. Kids parties are great and very affordable. You can take your own food and drinks or get them to take care of it for you. Definately one of the best kids party spots in Cairns. They helped us organise a party 3 hours before we were due to go to Yorkeys knob community Hall. The hall cancelled us with no apology and these guys came to the rescue

$53 for a powered site which was a bit on the pricey for 1 night. The water park was running when we pulled in at 1pm but approx 40 mins later when hubby took out son to the water park it was turned off and no one to be found to ask why?? The kids play ground was not undercover or have a shade sail so was too hot to play on. Very disappointed.. Glad we have air conditioning in the caravan. Could have done this somewhere cheaper and stayed longer. Wont stay here again.

The staff and accomodations at BIG4 Port Douglas are top notch! We stayed at this campground in March. We arrived after hours and someone was nice enough to meet us and sign us in. We were traveling during the off season so we did not need a reservation to book. The powered site was great. We were close to the restrooms and the other facilities were all well maintained. The pool was very relaxing and the grounds even offered laundry services and outdoor kitchen amenities. What really set this place apart was the customer service. After my husband and I checked out we ended up getting our Land Cruiser stuck in the mud a few streets away from the camp grounds. We called over 10 tow truck companies, all of whom said they couldn't help. I called BIG4 to see if they had anyone they would recommend and they sent their own staff over to help us. It was such a nice gesture and a blessing to us. We spent two hours trying to dig ourselves out and when the staff arrived we were out in less than five minutes. I highly recommend this establishment if you are looking for an affordable, family friendly stay!

This place is relaxed, quiet and has everything you need. It has exceptionally clean rooms, bbq area and 2 camp kitchens. Massive pool with fun pool toys to ride on, 3 water slides 2 playgrounds, table tennis plus a bar right next to the pool even though there's a small restaurant the food is great. Live music from locals on the weekends. Toy room, plus canoes with perspex bottoms to hire. The beach is a minute walk, and boat ramp just down the road. Friendly staff that make your stay just perfect.

Fantastic stay. Motel tourist park overlooks the ocean across a road. Great location. Motel rooms very very clean and have a little table and chairs to sit and watch the ocean. Pizzas were incredibly good $20 large pizzas, excellent. Cafe on site open most nights. Menu looked lovely but quite pricey. Ice available on site and a new dog wash open for those travelling with pets. Lovely pool area. Great parking area. Laundry facilities were good and located in the middle of the park. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again.
