Stayed here for one night while passing through. Got a powered site with a tent and the view was amazing!! Saw the river from our tent. The lady at the desk was nice, told us to call if we needed her at any time. We didnt get a chance to use the kitchen unfortunately. The bathrooms were very clean, and showers were good and updated. Lots of room to put your clothes on the benches in the stall. Lovely little town, we will definitely stay here again.

Passing through, did not stay the night. Very nice scenery with great kitchen facilities, a dock for fishing and an open area for the kids to play. Rating is not super accurate since I did not spend the night. Family who have stayed there said it was a great experience for them.

Amazing area, beautiful view, management are the most helpfully people I've ever meet, anytime of the day and night if anyone needed anything they would be there :) plenty of space :) and everyone interacts with everyone , great family fun area.. they even make water melon and donuts for the people staying and slip and slide in the day ... 5 stars for sure ????????

Just spent an amazing week at this place with family. Thanks to the awesome caretakers Nikki and Don. You do such a wonderful job looking after the place and guests. We will be making this trip an annual event for sure.. might sneak in a couple of visits in between.

Quiet. Easy access to River. Not many other river users. Great facilities such as the pool and games room. Kids love this place! Stayed in shack 8 - 2 showers, 3 toilets, 3 fridges, sleeps 12, great outdoor deck, full outdoor kitchen and only 1.5 hours from Adelaide.

The Port Vincent Back Beach Caravan Park was a very pleasant surprise when we arrived to book into one of their pristine cabins. We could sit on our porch and view the water that was in very close proximity also beautiful to listen to the water lapping on the shore. The staff were extremely pleasant also very helpful. We have come down for the Day on the Green Rob Thomas concert. End up staying 5 night in this Park. Beautiful green lawns with very large sites for our Van and Vehicle.. Felt very safe and found everyone friendly. Very modern facilities and would highly recommend putting this park in your bucket list..

Reception staff are very rude- we had booked to stay 2 nights here, however the weather was extremely windy and our tent pole snapped during the first night which meant we needed to find alternative accomodation for the second night. No help or empathy was offered when explaining this to them and no refund for the second night

Cheap small Park. Great for small kids. Large free playground as well as paid rides. The paid rides general leave over winter. The lawn is well maintained great for a picnic, and lots of takeaway shops close by on jetty road. The traffic is really slow along Esplanade during events but there is a lot of parking asking beach prior to jetty road, just be prepared to walk 500m or more

There are so many activities to do in this gorgeous town. The main street is bustling with pleasant people. Many shops, restaurants & eateries on either side of the street. Award winning manufacturing jeweller with ever changing displays. Beautiful Hotels, interesting gift & 2nd hand shops. Playground on the foreshore with a great beach.

Awesomely getaway home with lots of character and a very cool artsy fisherman decorum...the squid Jag wall art is particularly interesting and very different, giving the place a very cool vibe. Located only a few minutes walk from the Second Valley jetty, it's in a great spot for a walk, a fish or a scuba dive. The accommodation is clean, and fully equipped for a pleasant stay. The owner is very nice as well, and allowed us to check in early and check out late, as there was nobody else scheduled to stay there at the time. The water heating system does take quite a few hours to warm up so hot water may or may not be available until late the first day of your stay. Other than that, everything was perfect ????

Brilliant spot in the tradition of a proper, old school caravan park. Excellent, shared facilities and seconds from the beach, jetty etc. Everyone in this place has a smile on their face, the positivity is infectious. The owner Brett is always on hand ensuring guests are well looked after and nothing seems too much trouble. The kiosk has everything too, hot food, tackle etc etc I read some bad reviews but these are from people who don't want to share the secret. True story!

Not a bad place. nice and grassy, power and water available. The loos reasonably clean and there are showers. Nice and close to the lake too. Worth giving a go, I reckon.

If I could give Wallaroo Holiday Park more stars I would!!!!! My husband and I stayed in The beach front spa unit and the room was absolutely amazing (so very clean with really a comfy bed and double shower as well as spa bath) with stunning views. If u want the beach front right out side your door step this is the place to stay!!!! Also the staff are so friendly and helpful!!!! The overall experience here has been one to remember and we will most definitely be coming back!!!! I could not recommend it enough!!!!! A++++++++++++++

Very clean facilities,good size sites, dogs off leads or their owners were a problem. The younger members of our group would like to see a water park built in the park. A number of campers were parking their cars on the roads making it difficult and unsafe for kids on bikes and caravans to manoeuvre around the park, their owners could do with a little reminding of camp site rules and etiquette. A good stay that could have been a great stay with management reminding campers of the rules.

Really nice park- amenities all brand new with an amazing indoor (with aircon/heating) camp kitchen and kids room! Only thing I could suggest to the owners would be bins on the beach area on the park, I picked up a heap of rubbish off the beach but there wasn’t a bin in sight. Big thanks to the friendly staff also ????????

Lovely campsite run by really genuine and considerate owner Dee. Great shady sites, really nicely spaced out and sense of peace and quiet and so relaxing. Superbly clean and tidy amenities block too and town water to sites. It had a lovely bush camp atmosphere and close by to the beautiful Emu Bay. Amazing sunsets from the lagoon too. The Kangaroo Island Brewery was a few kms back up the road and it too provided a nice relaxing spot close by. Would highly recommend this site to anyone and please get behind businesses after recent events on KI. This place deserves your support. A true campers site. We hope to be back one day soon.

Great located park in a wildlife area. Friendly staff and no problems with late checkin. Most of sites are shaded and the park itself is cute - retro chairs and tables in a garden, plants, herbs... just lovely. Beautiful, modern and well-maintained amenities, well-equipped semi-open kitchen, planty of room to have a sit. Best sunsets! Highly recommended!

Wow!! What a beautiful place to camp! We stayed 4 nights here and were on our own. Sites are large and grassy, with shade. Amenities are absolutely spotless and well thought out, the owners are friendly and helpful. A good central spot to all the attractions, the ONLY place to camp on Kangaroo Island!! We'll be back!

Nice park with Crackerjack Cafe close by. Includes playground and showers and has good access to the beach. Paid parking for non Frankston council residents, but worth the cost to be away from the Nepean highway.

Our favourite place to go on the bay. Beach and water is beautiful. There are BBQs in the park area. Shower and toilet block there too. Some metered parking on site. Otherwise there is a 5 minute drop off zone and you can park on road.
