Fantastic community focused sporting centre. They offer a range of sports including basketball, inline hockey, netball and volleyball. The centre also has gymnastics and trampoline programs. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Lots of fun for all ages.

For $10 pp with own skates they really should clean the floor. My wheels were coated with gunk after 30 minutes I had to stop skating with my daughter. Filthy

Hawthorn Malvern Yoga Centre is the best yoga studio I’ve ever been to. I’ve been attending classes here for 5+ years. Classes are suitable for absolute beginners and can take you to the advanced level. Jacqui and Shimon are welcoming, clear and supportive teachers who are experts in their field. I’d suggest this centre to young and old to learn about all aspects of yoga.

Truly authentic Yoga taught by Jacqui and Shimon who are a wealth of knowledge and experience. Their classes are a pleasure to be in, lots of individual attention where possible to extend your practice. Sometimes complex concepts are presented in a simple, clear and easy to understand manner, you will always feel looked after here.

Dedicated teachers. Yoga postures are demonstrated and then talked through while class participants do the postures. There is a constant stream of instruction including reminders about subtle adjustments of the body in the pose and prompts to integrate the mind and body. I've never experienced this degree of instruction in any other school of yoga. In amongst this instruction are reminders about bodily awareness and living in the present moment - practical approaches that we can take away into the rest of our week and our lives. An extensive array of props, including ropes, is available and many of these props are used to help participants gradually stretch the body before moving into doing the actual poses. At the end of the class, I leave feeling calm and relaxed and well exercised.

The most friendly Gym owners I have ever experienced! Very trustworthy and easy going. Great equipment that is always free! Never too busy or any machines in high demand.. I love the classes room, lots of great extra equipment, Mats, exercise balls and cross trainers. Great music throughout the gym and fans for when the workout is full on! AMAZING squash facilities as well. The club run a social squash night Tuesday and Thursday.. great way to bring people together and have some fun! 10/10 Gym!

The staff are very welcoming and friendly. There is a range of equipment, classes and even infrared saunas! The environment is relaxed, I feel comfortable in this gym compared to others. There are rooms for different equipment so it feels more private than other gyms I have been too (some gyms are open planned with all equipment in the one area which is more daunting). Definitely value for money :)

My partner and I have been attending for about 3 months and we have been loving it so far! The trainers are very knowledgeable and the whole gym has a community vibe where everyone supports each other. This is great to keep you motivated! Highly recommended.

A great place to train and a good variety of workouts. Trainers are knolegable and have a big emphases on correct technique. A very friendly and supportive gym environment.

Nice little climbing spot. Great for kids but can get crowded during weekends and holidays. Don’t wear your best gear, especially dark colours, you’ll come out like a chalkboard. Make sure you have suitable shoes for climbing or you can hire them here.

I would highly recommend Coast Yoga Studio to anyone. The teachers are knowledgeable about the yoga practice and human body and they use that knowledge to ensure you do your poses correctly. Individual attention and focus on correct alignment are commendable. Over last two years at Coast Yoga I had a pleasure to attend classes with many yoga teachers and all of them were professional, helpful and dedicated. It is not just to teach yoga, it is to live it, and this is what I have observed at Coast Yoga.

Couldn't highly recommend the couples birthing workshop and Friday night pregnancy yoga classes more!!! The pregnancy yoga classes are a great way to connect with other pregnant mums while taking a bit of 'me' time. The classes also provide so much practical information, real in-person birth stories from mums who have just given birth and study based education in a relaxed and open environment. I feel supported and empowered for having done these classes. My husband and I are so glad we attended the couples birthing workshop. I not only walked away feeling even more informed and confident but it was super beneficial for my husbands confidence and concerns, our communication and our teamwork. We loved all the information, practical tips and that it prompted us to have an honest and open discussion about the expectations and fears we didn't know one another had. So glad we did this workshop!!!

Swimming instructors were awesome as were all the YMCA staff. Was a long time member for my child's swimming lessons but when it changed management they insisted I could only pay by direct debit. I had always paid in advance for the lessons by cash and it wasn't ever a problem. They wouldn't even let me pay by pay wave, despite them still accepting cash for walk ins and the cafeteria. Will never go back there again.

Overall, a well setup and functional gym and aquatic center. The place was clean. The interpretation of entrance pricing and swim rules was entirely arbitrary. I normally live in the U.S. so I don't have any local aged person documentation other than a licence The first day this was sufficient but the second day I was charged full adult rates. ($13.60 vs. $17.00). Hardly bankrupting but odd/inconsistent. The first day we were there we were tasked by the lifeguard about using the spa without having a wrist band to identify that we had paid a premium for this purpose but were never told on admission that it was a separately charged product - $4.00. My son-in-law is a member and he wasn't aware of the wrist band requirement. The first day I started my swim with a racing start from the flat area between 2 starting blocks under full view of a lifeguard without problem, but the second day was chastised by a different lifeguard for diving. I understand the restrictions on deep diving but both starts were the same and barely broke the surface of water that was 1.8 m deep. I'd go back but would be intrigued to see which variations of rules would be applied next time.

Generally a good facility but not enough thought given to disability access. The current access is regularly blocked off for classes making it awkward and dangerous to reach a lane with some space for safe stretching and swimming. Then you have to battle the barriers again to get out of the pool. Only single exit for disabled. This has been raised with staff many times to no avail. Run classes for the able bodied on the other side of the pool and consider the injured and disabled please.

Beautiful spot. The cafe was brilliant. Good coffee and my omelette was delicious. Hubby had the giant wave breakfast and loved every mouthful. Will going back again soon. And the ocean view is gorgeous. Even saw a pod of dolphins go by.

Wonderful yoga studio. Such a welcoming and calming space, I couldn't choose a favourite class as they are all so good as are all of the teachers. Highly recommend.

Amazing intimate quiet studio with calming lighting amazing music ...excellent scents and sounds ... and no mirrors ! Teaching is of a higher standard than other studios I have visited ... personalised options are part of the class to enable you to tailor the moves to what suits your body and energy level best .... You will not be disappointed ... every class like a mini retreat !

Regarding the yoga and meditation retreats that the owner, Julie, does, I have to say that it was magical, so magical, that I just went for a second time. The accommodation is luxurious, with ocean views to watch the whales and dolphins, the food was superb, everything about it was wonderful. I encourage anyone to attend, the best thing is that I did not have to get on a plane to interstate locations, or go to Bali. I have been to many retreats for the past 30 years, this was the best. YOU NEED TO GET ON A WAITING LIST; THE MAXIMUM PARTICIPANTS ARE 6 ONLY, YET ANOTHER REASON WHY THIS RETREAT IS SO WONDERFUL! P.S. They are not Buddhists; Julie's daughter chose the name of the business. Namaste Lynn-Maree

Top notch Coffee and Banter My special person has been telling me for weeks to go to this place so whilst on a social visit victor we stopped in for a coffee, let me just say first of all the set up is neat, just a coupe of seats and an awesome bench is all that is present here but it makes the setting quite intimate. Bazz the barista is an actual LAD, his banter is top notch and the coffee is aswell. there are also a selection of amazing looking raw cakes and healthy treats to dive into. if you head down to victor for the weekend you cant afford to miss this joint. 10/10

A solid medium sized CrossFit gym with cool staff - I was in town for a few days and trained at Crossfit Adelaide each morning at 0615. Class sizes were around ten folks. Gym is well equipped and is your classic ‘industrial area with a big roller door’ kind of box. It’s waaaay down the back of an industrial estate but not hard to find. Sessions while I was there followed a common format of a warm up, a strength activity for about 15-20 mins then a metcon for about the same. Ben the owner took all the classes I went to. He was really easy going, knowledgeable and well humoured. The groups there ranged widely in fitness levels and he easily accommodated fitter more experienced athletes with folks that were still picking things up. Didn’t meet any of the other trainers but Ben was a stand out. Good gym. A bit out of the way. I’ll train there again next time I’m around.

There’s nothing Kung Fu about this place at all. All they teach is an obstacle course week in and week out without any Kung Fu skills whatsoever. My son went for over 12 months and learnt no Kung Fu at all. They overfill the classes meaning kids spend most of the time sitting down. Make sure too when you decide to leave that you sign the cancellation form else they’ll get debt collectors onto you despite them verbally confirming the ceasing of lessons and clear non attendance.

Wanted to go to a pool to escape the 40C heat in the school holidays. Casual entry only $6.60 for adults, and it was fairly quiet inside given the time of year and how hot it was. Had heaps of room in the pool, lap lanes were open and a second smaller pool for all the little kids. Only downside was that the lockers didn't have locks, you were supposed to bring your own padlock :/ But there were quite a few staff around so we just kept our valuables near the pool.

My granddaughter has moved to Hallett Cove and as she can no longer attend dance classes in Stepney I asked if a refund of remaining unused classes which were fully paid for in term fees (almost 2 months) would be available. I was advised that no refund is provided which is most unfair!!!

MLFC is attractive because the staff is friendly and always helpful. The members are like one big family. They say hello and chat to each other.....it makes you want to go the gym.

A lovely venue but is looking tired and rundown. Large holes in stadium walls and no air conditioning in courts area so very uncomfortable on a warm day. There is plenty of parking and the toilets are always clean.
