An amazing experience. Was a little scared, the guys were reassuring and professional. That and we couldn't move back haha. Really enjoyed all the waterfalls and just floating on my back looking up the canyon.

Very interesting. The very informative chap who showed us around told us about the Sea horses. He was also very nice, patient with a mentally handicapped girl & answered her questions. I thought it was going to be just the Seahorses in an Aquarium. But it is also a breeding place for them to be sold in Australia & Overseas! I was shocked to learn; people eat them - uck! I was pleasantly surprised to see Creation objects on the shelves in the Souvenir room. I found out the owners are Christians: so I was thrilled about that. I said to a saleslady; I'm a believer, too & said when I was looking @ the Seahorses, I was thinking God Created these wonderful creatures, part of His whole unfathomable Creation. She said a 'Creation' section is being built onto the side of the building & maybe open in a few weeks. I hope to see it 1 day when completed. All the staff are friendly, including in the dining area.

Wow, what an experience! Our guide Craig was passionate about not only the seahorse, but enchanting sea life as well! You won't be disappointed and believe me you will be living, breathing... And maybe dreaming of these amazing creatures long after your visit!

This is a truly unique and amazing venue. The tour was led by a very informative guide and there is an incredible display of sea horses. Their life cycle and diversity is displayed and explained. There is also an opportunity to briefly hold a Seahorse under supervision. The attached retail outlet is full of interesting affordable mementos of a fantastic experience. Don't miss it.

My wife and I with 2 children went for our first mountain bike adventure to Derby. We stayed for 3 nights and we were not disappointed, it was an excellent trip. We stayed in the free campground next to the river. We swam in the river which was slightly chilli for the first few moments but the water temperature wasn't that bad, we were happy to stay in the water for about 30 minutes. The showers and toilets at the free camp ground are pretty new, great water pressure for a hot shower (4 x $1 needed). The mountain bike trails were fantastic, my 12 year old daughter initially found the blue trailers challenging but she soon had her confidence and after three days she did a green. There is no cost to go on the trails, only cost is if you want a lift up to black stump. You can also ride up to black stump and this takes about 25 minutes or you can get someone to drive you up and drop you off. Lots of great rides from black stump after you have a few basic skills. Highly recommend Derby. We will be back.

Excellent course with a natural layout, excellent greens fairways and not overly hard as some Links courses tend to be. Although a great course, over $200 for two rounds, a cart and competition fees, I did feel it was slightly overpriced for a Monday - about 160-180 would be fairer, especially considering the lack of a clubhouse or amenities. I was quite disappointed with the service by the professionals - they were disinterested, talking amongst themselves and unhelpful, and stuck me and my playing partner behind a large corporate group who were slowish. We later grouped with a second twosome behind us on about the third hole - something that the pros should have organised instead of directing us to figure it out ourselves with strangers. Finally, I was rudely spoken to by the older male pro when I asked if a putter cover had been handed in. With no clubhouse or amenities, this course is one you simply play and move on.

Excellent links style golf course. Nice wide fairways, fast greens and undulating grounds. Wonderful service. A great day out

One of the best in the area which is quite an achievement given the quality of the courses on the peninsula. Kept in great condition you're on for a treat each time you play. Greens, bunkers, and fairways and all top notch. Like most courses, the wind can make it feel like two totally different places when it's blowing. A bargain price for what it is!

Incredible museum in art and architecture, with a very interactive and virtual experience. Enjoyed it thoroughly, even though not a “museum person.” Good for all ages, but some material not suitable for children. The restaurant is also fantastic, one of the best in Hobart. Plan for several hours, and get to the ferry early. Very worthwhile for anyone visiting Hobart. One of the most memorable museums I’ve ever seen.

Im simply overwhelmed by this place, it offers a very interesting and innovative experience. The museum is underground and there are 3 levels, start from the lowest level. There is an “O” device that you can collect at a booth to help you navigate, give information and interact with the art pieces. There is also staff stationed at each point to help and facilitate the process. The museum is like a maze, every turn surprised me. The art work here is large scale and most of them are embedded in the museum. The art displayed is clever and mind blowing. The entrance fee for adult is $30 and its worth it. Spare a day to experience and appreciate the art work, chill at the lawn and just wander around. There are beverage bars, cafes, restaurant on site. The museum is very popular and is busy on a weekend, car park can get quite full. I have been to several famous contemporary art museum in the world, this is by far the most special and interactive one, and it gives me a reason to come back to Hobart one day.

Very cool place with tons of history. There is not a lot that small children will understand or enjoy, but it is worth the visit. There are lots of buildings to explore with dedicated talks in some of them. The guided tour and harbour cruise are part of the package and worth doing. The place is a world heritage site and is very well maintained. The infrastructure is really good, with cafes and restrooms in a couple spots within the park. A must go if you are visiting Hobart.

So fantastic!!! Loved it. The walking tour was great! Beautiful and informative ferry ride! Grounds and ruins kept beautifully! Lots of parking. Ghost tour was booked out on the day we went so we needed to book for the night after, but the ground pass was valid for two days so we definitely needed that extra time to fully explore Port Arthur and all the history and information it has to offer. Super interesting. A place of quiet reflection and respect. Restaurant was very nice.

The Port Arthur Historic Site is incredibly well run and guides seem very well trained. The history of the place is truly horrific and guides hint at this but don’t dwell on it. The guided tours definitely add a dimension you won’t get walking it on your own even with the guide book. If you are in the region it’s well worth spending the time to visit.

The only place you can drive from the mainland to Tasmania. You'll arrive in the morning and leave in the evening (in most cases). Devonport is a great place to arrive at as you'll drive past the Methodist Paraonage on your way out into Tasmania. Make sure that you stop and visit the new cafe that will be serving from there! What a truly amazing experience. Up close and personal. Intimate encounters with endangered wildlife. The animals are all so beautiful, well cared for and tame. The staff are all friendly, helpful and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to these animals. Privately owned and operated. I’d support these guys any-day. I love Australia Zoo and have been to many other sanctuary’s and zoos too, but if I had to compare... Trowunna truly is a better up close & personal experience! I’d give em 10 stars if it was allowed.

Modern facility showcasing some of the best bikes and cars ever made. Has revolving themes so the variety and types of cars and bikes is changing throughout the year. Friendly and knowledgeable staff whom I enjoyed talking with, especially the one that escaped from Toowoomba like me. The Museum is a worth while destination for any car or bike enthusiast

Fantastic destination after all those windy roads! Hotel and cabins in the grounds. Also shop. Accommodation was superb, clean and comfortable. In lodge there were two restaurants, a bistro and a more formal restaurant. When I went, there were beautiful log fires in every main area. Very comfortable. Food was amazing. There is a spa. Beautiful scenery and river close by. 3 resident platypus, many wombats and other fauna. Walkways to the Pencil Pine (?) waterfall and wildlife . I'm looking forward to my next visit!
