Just now found out you can review the SoL! We’ve been going through the symphony of lights for many years and thought the 2019 layout was particularly spectacular! We loved driving through the pavilion and the serpentine path that allowed you to appreciate the lights both up close and from a distance. It was very well done! My parents took me here as a kid and now I bring my kids... driving through is a family holiday tradition. Sure there are better lights in the DC area, but where else can you tour a historic concert venue that turns into a christmas light land in a major downtown area? And it supports the hospital. We always start the season with a drive through these pretty lights.

This year's lights were better than ever! You actually drive through the seating area of the pavilion which I though was pretty cool and there was giant tree on stage!! My kids loved it

This place is a gem! Definitely recommend it, So beautiful and well maintained. Glad we found it, we will definitely be returning. Our experience with you all was exceptional, spruce lake truly marks the difference in service and hospitality because you truly let Jesus shine through your words and actions. We felt welcomed and helped throughout our stay and the atmosphere in general was so relaxing.

Me and my family we went there 2 times during Labor Day Weekend and spending 3 nights, it was so much fun visiting the place, people are so friendly, went out climbing to the mountain with my family and so much activities!

Wonderful people that own and run it. Very accommodating. If you're looking for a place for a FAMILY VACATION this is the getaway for you.

This was the perfect getaway for a quiet, beautiful family vacation! The owners were so kind and helpful. The park was beautiful and serene. The family atmosphere was a relief as everyone naturally quieted down around 10:00pm each night on their own! Will definitely be back!

This campsite is beautiful- our spot backed right up to the river (June 20- it was moving pretty well but a little low. You couldn’t hear it from your RV). The owner super accommodating. Helped us park and set up. Even gave us an egg when we realized we forgot to buy eggs for cookies! The most amazing part was the firefly show at night across the river- magical! Great overall experience - we would definitely come back.

The campground is clean, it is at a great price, the shower is free, swimming area is great, and fishing spots are endless! I am going to make this one of my main spots for camping with family every year!

Where do I begin, this place is perfect for the family campers. Reservable, perfect amenities, concrete pads and all concrete paths. So kid friendly it amazing. We will be back soon.

We camp at Quaker Haven every year, and we love it. It offers plenty of recreational options for a weekend. Dewart Lake is nice enough for swimming, fishing, kayaking/canoeing, and other water sports. There is a disc golf course that runs around the campground. The gym is great, although I don't think they run the AC in it anymore, so it gets warm. The lawns are set up for soccer and softball with plenty of area for other outdoor activities.

This is an amazing camp. My son is on his 5th summer and he loves it. Everyone knows everyone. This summer, he had a biking accident and I am amazed at how well the camp communicated with me and took care of him. They delivered above and beyond my expectations. I am so grateful to have such an amazing, experienced and loving team. They are family and treat all the campers as such. Northstar will always and forever hold a special place in my heart. Words cannot express my gratitude and love I have for these individuals.

I spent 13 of the best summers of my life at North Star. Being at North Star taught me lessons that I still use today. The staff is always fantastic and Dan and Andy do a great job carrying on the traditions and values that make camp special.

Spent the weekend using one of the RV sites on the property. There were 30 AMP electric hookups at the sites. The sites were very spacious and allowed plenty of room. There was a water fill station and a dump station near the entrance to the park. You paid $15 per night for the site and used a drop box to pay. There was no way to tell if there were sites available until you got back to were they were, but you had an hour after arrival to drop your paperwork back off at the drop box. We did a little park exploring around the lake and enjoyed seeing some wildlife. It was cold when we were there so we didn't get a chance to check out everything the park has to offer in warmer months, but we had a great time and look forward to being able to go back out soon.

We stumbled more or less upon this park over Labor Day weekend and are we glad we did. The tent sites were roomy and had great views. It’s quiet and has plenty to do as a family from trails to fishing.

Great campground just off of I80 but seems much further as you don't know you're close to the Interstate. A few different options of campground areas. Find your site first & then pay & register. We grabbed firewood at the Kum & Go before heading out. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a nice place to stop for the night.

I have went there every summer for 4 years now, and each of my summers there, it is an amazing place to be. The camp counselors are very nice and funny, and they make me want to be there all the time.

I attended Camp Moses Merrill when I was a child, earned scholarships through my church and was able to attend for a few years. I have the most dearest and fondest memories that I'll never forget. I'm almost 40 now and I would love to go visit! I learned the elbows on the table song lol. I can still recite it. Met the most amazing and caring staff. I'll truly never forget Camp Moses Merrill! ????????

I've been shopping in this store for years, they are always eager to help with whatever questions you may have. The selection of groceries are just what you need for your camping, cabin or daytime outings you have planned. Floating with them is a treat indeed! I've continued to shop here over the years even when the competitor's down the street came to town. And not to mention their selection of souvenirs shirts, caps, jackets etc.

This location, as if not recognized enough as a sacred site, also serves as a place of worship and recreational growth for those of the Lutheran faith. One of the local on-premise directors, Corey is a paradigm of kindness and creative guidance for this gem of the evergreens. If you ever have the chance to experience Lutherwood, I would highly recommend it.
