This place is AWESOME! I found all kinds of cool Braves and Ole Miss stuff today, and it was all VERY affordable! The staff was EXTREMELY friendly and accommodating since I had my service dog with me, and I didn't feel belittled like I do other places. I will DEFINITELY do business here again! ????

The only place I’ll buy running shoes. Perfect location for those working or living downtown. They’ll even let you try on the shoes and go jog around the block. Also love the great downtown races that the shop puts on each year. A great addition to the fitness lifestyle scene!

Big portions of food, service was ok, they point you to your seat instead of walking you to it. Not all the bacon on the sandwich was cooked all the way. Food tastes good, have been there when I was a Kid and Loved it, Food is still good but service is less personable. Wait staff had a few workers not wearing mask properly.

My fiancé and I had an amazing dinner at Purple Martin Grille & Cellar at the Timberlake Country Club. We started with the scallops and loved every bite. The flavor was amazing and the scallops were cooked to perfection. We decided to share the ribeye with asparagus and deep fried potato cakes. The picture says it all! The steak was a perfect medium rare and the asparagus with crisp but tender. The fried potato cakes had a delectable crunch and a rich texture that melted in your mouth. The Demi glaze sauce paired perfectly as it was delicate but extremely flavorful and enhanced every bite of the steak. Overall an absolutely incredible and Tasty experience with superb service all around. We will definitely be coming back!!!

Phenomenal! I’ve read about the Wilderness and known that is was highly ranked. I finally pulled the trigger and went up from MPLS to play it and got in 36. I can’t believe I have waited so long to finally try it out, perfection! The tee boxes are flat, the fairways like carpet, and the greens are challenging. The greens rolled so smoothly and I really like how they have not just tiers, but big elevation changes between tiers. It’s crucial to be on the correct tier or there can be an elevation change of 2’-4’ on some of the greens. I couldn’t recommend this course any more, it is a gem!

The course is really 4 stars but I give it 3 stars due to the fact it's located right next to a casino. For some reason all of the other players there seemed either drunk or angry for some reason. It really is too bad because the course is great and I would highly recommend it otherwise. It's a great walk if you can get out alone, but to be honest I'd rather play the quarry any day which is less than an hour South.

What a fun course. The course was in great shape. Pace of play was certainly good as well. I just happened to leave my SW on a hole whoops.. The next day on my way back to Michigan I got a call they had my wedge ( I didn't known it was even missing yet). Staff graciously shipped my club to me. Great staff and a great course hope to be back someday.

The manager was our sales person. Pedro made our shopping both easy & fun. My son & husband both have a friendly banter manner that is offputting to some people. Pedro just fell right into it with them. Went to the back on several items to find the correct item or size.

Enjoyed my time here. The course was in good shape even with the heat of summer. There are a few forced carries and OB is in play on a number of holes, so the course is no slouch. Overall the course was challenging but fair and we managed a little over a 4 hour pace in a foursome with only a little waiting on the group ahead.

If you are a golfer this place is great, but even if you are not - its a amazing place to just grab lunch and/or a cold beverage and enjoy a awesome view and overall atmosphere. The nachos from the appetizer menu are amazing! I order them as my meal as they are a lot of food. Good size portions, always fresh, hot and yummy. Also the staff is always very nice. Michelle waited on me on my last trip and she was very good and really friendly. And the view is one of the best I have ever seen. Remote, quiet and peaceful. This place is the perfect escape!

I spoke with Jeff, who was extremely friendly, patient and informative. He helped me to try on something between 4 and 6 pairs of shoes, answered all the questions that I had, let me walk/run around with the shoes to get a feel for them, and did not make me feel pressured to spend a large amount of money while I was shopping - in fact, the pair I ended up with was a sale pair. I would 100% recommend The Running Shop, and would be happy to return with any running needs I may have.

Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Had my previous purchase size on file which was incredibly helpful. Shoe manufacturer released a new version that didn't fit my foot as well which is not The Running Shop's fault. I feel badly they wouldn't accept a tip for their time. They offer a valuable service and I hope to shop there in the future.

All the staff was very helpful and welcoming. We were able to check in a bit earlier than check in time. However the rooms are old. They need a lot of work. Our bath tub was not draining. The maintenance came to try to fix it, but nothing changed. I didn't want to even ask to switch rooms. As I just sanitized that room already due to the pandemic. So we cut short our stay instead. The surroundings are gorgeous. The view of the river gap always leaves us amazed. Some restaurants on sight, live music and some activities. However I would only come to visit the area.We will never want to stay in these rooms again.

Overall a very nice older resort. I agree with others who say that the rooms could be nicer but it didn’t bother us too much. Bathroom was tiny, but functional. The view is very pretty. We enjoyed dinner on the front porch of the main building and we also ate on the deck at the pub style restaurant on the premises. We liked the food and the staff was friendly. We really liked the craft beer place also. There was an open mic night and it was fun to sit outside and listen to the music. We also enjoyed a round of golf! Nice course! The only thing I’d change is updating the rooms otherwise it’s a great place and we will be back!

The negative reviews we read on this site were worrisome, HOWEVER, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to this beautiful, and quaint resort. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful, always there to do anything for you, they even accommodated us with a change in check in/out. We were there for the week and we had a very clean renovated room(room 105), with very comfortable beds. This resort was especially unique in its gorgeous and expansive grounds, with a full day of on-site activities, free of charge. You can come literally come and stay on grounds all day!!

Just purchsed my new Trek Marlin 7 from them. With everything going on and a shortage of bikes i was able to get one thanks to Spark. Definitely a busy season for bike shops but Mike was very helpul and very responsive. Couldn't have asked for better customer service. Not only would i reccomend spark, i wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks guys.

I love country dancing here on Wednesday nights! ???? Lessons are $5 cash and go from 6:30-7:30 pm. The rest of the night is a combination of line dancing, two stepping, and the Cowboy Cha Cha (known in SoCal as the Denver Cha Cha). Ladies drink free from 7-11 pm (I believe those are the hours) on Wednesdays. Check the website for other country nights, Wednesday is the only consistent night. There's usually some kind of food for sale too if you need dinner... no promises. Some of the line dances here can be pretty complicated, but in my opinion that makes them more fun once you learn them. There's definitely some easier dances though and the lessons as I already mentioned. If you see a girl doing one arm pushups during the wobble come say hi ????

I came here for Hearsecon, but it was a little underdeveloped. Not too many stalls or hearses. Decent interior location though. Lots of space...for activities. Personnel were well mannered and easy going.

I had an unanticipated challenge that the three employees on duty the night of Thursday, 10 October, resolved to a level well beyond my satisfaction and expectation! My new Br/Gap card was not allowing me to use the card with my rewards credits. Despite utilizing the online customer support, we could not find a way to manipulate the system to allow me to use my card and rewards together - weird! Nevertheless, they all worked together for 30+ minutes to help me obtain and use the rewards and apply them to my purchase that night. They were amazingly professional, patient, and accommodating! I anticipate being on business in this area again the future and will definitely seek their store out again!

This store has cute, good quality clothes, but the customer service is subpar. The cashier was quite friendly, until I politely declined her invitation to sign up for the Gap Rewards (i.e. credit card.) She then became very short and no longer made eye contact. Will not be returning.

This place is huge and right off I-39 near to Rockford. If you have home recreational needs, they have it. They also will honor lower prices posted on their website. That saved my wife $6 on two items we stopped in to purchase.

We are loving our new pool we just bought from Great Escape in Loves Park! Miguel helped us from the beginning and the whole process was uneventful and went exactly as they planned. Miguel is so friendly, efficient, and always available to answer any questions. Tammy from backyard was very friendly and organized in planning deliveries. Morgan who did the excavating was a great guy and did an outstanding job! The crew that came out to install the pool were impressive! They are hard workers and were helpful in explaining how to care for the pool systems. As new pool owners, we have gone to the store a few times and called as well with questions, and everyone has been extremely nice and helpful! Miguel, thank you so much for everything! We’ll see you when the deck is finished for patio furniture!
