Been there a handful of times with family and friends, it's always a blast and very interesting. The ladies who volunteer there are amazing and do an excellent job!! The museum is fun for the whole family and has something for everyone from old convict records and historic artifacts to dress ups and colouring ins for the kids. Not to mention, the museum is very reasonably priced and you're welcome to stay for as long as you'd like. Definitely worth a visit.

The volunteers here are so amazing, they are very knowledgeable and friendly. Many of the exhibitions are rotated so even if you've been there before chances are you will find something new to enjoy. If you are in the area please drop by and support local (and early Australian) heritage. You will be so happy you did.

One of my favourite historical museums across Australia. I’ve been travelling a lot and couldn’t believe how much history was in Port Macquarie. Truely a gem! The staff was amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable. He shared a lot of history before we actually seen the museum. Great chap! This is a main pillar of Port Macquarie’s history!

Amazing place. Great experience. Dusty and Mike and all the beautiful people at the Observatory were just too good. Got loads of info as well as got to see the moon craters, Jupiter with 4 moons and Saturn with 1 moon. Best experience of my Port Macquarie trip. A must visit. ????????????????

A decent place to visit. The talk went on for over an hour. I didn't mind this but some people got a little restless. If you have no knowledge of astronomy the presentation may be a little hard to understand. The air-con malfunctioned and the fans weren't working so it was pretty hot inside. We started queuing at 6:45pm and by 7:00pm at least 30 people had turned up for the 7:15pm start. So if you want to go, make sure you get there a little early. They have limited seating inside.

Highly recommend! Had booked a group lesson and got "upraded" to a private lesson as there was a slight mixup with the booking. They went the extra mile to make sure I had a great time. Wayne was very attentive and time in the water flew by. I could definitely improve my surfing skills (had none before) and would visit them again!

Very quiet waterfront campground, we paid 40$ for a powered campsite (3 adults, 1 vehicle). The facilities are incredibly clean. The campgrounds is not fenced and it looks like you're right in the middle of the street. However, it's a quiet neighborhood.

Quiet location, but close enough to town. Park is small, with cabins overlooking the Hastings River. Owners are friends day, and very knowledgeable when it comes to kayak/boat hire. A great place to spend a week!!

What a lovely friendly site. Booked 4 nights, our cabin was absolutely spotless. The pool is lovely and refreshing. The site itself is kept exceptionally clean and tidy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Had to stay due to fires in the area. When I rang up to book in the staff where friendly and happy to get me in. When I arrived to check in Michelle was really nice they even gave me an upgrade on my cabin. When I had to extend for an extra few nights they were happy to help. Thank you very much..

Also no supervision in the play area to help kids open close gates and also to stop big kids entering small kids area and vice versa. .. When we visited the other week, the bouncy slide was out of order, deflated and left without any signs or tape to stop children going on it which is extremely dangerous if a child got inside there.

So being somewhat of a local and not having been here before I was pleasantly surprised with this place. There's a comfortable area for parents to supervise the kids play area while still being quiet, they have all the necessities (coffee, food, a range of cool drinks) and while the food choices are not adventurous they are good sized portions and well prepared resulting in a good value for money trip that lasted 3 hours for us on this particular day.

Great little mini golf! Had lots of fun with family, was my first time doing mini golf and it was really fun! Would definitely take some friends here some time! Owner was very cool ???? Molly was adorable!!

Just spent 8 nights there in a powered site. The kids absolutely loved it. The pool is awesome, and there is always something doing for the kids. Good fishing in safe waters near by the park and great clean showers and toilets. We'll be back next year if we can.

I was able to bring my Dog. Wonderful friendly place, plenty to do. Cabin was very clean. Price was very good. I had a great time, relaxing, very quite but very full at the time of my stay. Management was excellent, so was staff. Thank you for my wonderful stay, I will be back.

We loved being next to the water as we love to fish,swim etc ???? The pool there is great too. Great place for families as well. It really is a lovely park.

The cleanest caravan park I have ever been to. 5th time here and will definitely be back. New manager goes above and beyond. Amenities block and pool are amazing. Close to lakes and shopping centres. Close to cycleways and beaches.

I had a lovey experienced trail ride with hilery and Britney they catered to our abilities and were very helpful and friendly I can’t say enough of how wonderful this early morning ride was hilery was nice of enough to let me canter on my ride thanks so much guys will cime back again soon????
