Josh's enthusiasm and love of surfing rubs off on all the groms that go through his academy. He really is a true ocean man and his willingness to impart his knowledge and wisdom with the kids is beyond admirable. Can't recommend him more highly.

We’ve spent the holidays in Perth and Margret River where my son had several lessons with different surf schools. This was by far the best lessons he had. The Coach, George was very patient, knowledgeable and a great role model for my son, Olly.Josh took time to teach Olly about the safety of the ocean , teaching him about different rips, how to recognise and most importantly, safety. Super impressed and we will be back on our next visit to Margret River.

We had a great time, thanks guys! All 13 people who visited from Europe were able to stand up on the surf board by the end of their session! We ended up hiring the equipment the next day it was so much fun. I had private session with Mat and had the best time, thanks mate! We will be back!

I got so much out of my experience with MARGARET RIVER SURF SCHOOL HIGH PERFORMANCE COACHING. Thanks to Jarrad for the superb coaching skills, video analysis and locations selection! I will keep coming back to improve my surfing. I can't wait for my next coaching session!!!

The folks at the Margaret River Surf School are exceptional. I had never truly surfed before, but after three lessons, I was standing up confidently, and even doing some tricks! Matt, Zach, and Justin were all attentive and eager teachers; they made safety and fun the first priorities. An extra thank you to Matt for the help with transportation, and to Jarrad for his understanding when we had to make last-minute changes to schedule. You all rock, and I'll be recommending you for sure!

The pool facilities are not the worst in Australia, but for a town with an overflowing income of tourists, it could be in better shape. I can confirm a former review, where someone said, that it is full of kids having swimming lessons. Well, that person was there in the morning, we were in the afternoon - same experience. No warning when paying the entry that every little corner is occupied for swimming lessons. When we finally found a tiny spot, another swimming instructor with a group of kids arrived and approached us, that they need that spot for swimming lessons - WHAT THE HELL?! Never experienced such a booked out pool in Australia and we traveled through every state!

loved this place. I went with my dad who hasn't ridden for a few years and we both loved it. Horses were lovely and well looked after. Bailey and Murri were great horses who looked after us. We even had a race through a field. One of the best trail rides I have ever been on.

Fantastic two hours ride with two kids, the set up is very safe and the warm up very useful to get some confidence, the tour is very nice also, the ranch is beautiful! The staff is genuinely lovely and qualified. Totally recommended!

The best trail ride operator in WA (although their expertise lies in training horses at liberty and teaching horse owners the art of horsemanship with kindness & understanding).
The trail ride horses are beautifully well treated and well trained. Every rider, regardless of experience, receives a safety and basic riding instruction session before taking a guided ride through the lovely paddocks & bush trails of the property. It’s a very safe and well controlled environment but also a ton of fun with the freedom to ride at your capability level. No bits, no kicking, just beautifully trained responsive horses. It’s an absolute joy to ride at this lovely location.

If you are looking for something that is family friendly this is your spot. Lots of great views, very clean toilets, and lots of shade. The staff are fantastic too. The only thing that could make this place better is a place to get a coffee in walking distance.

Amazing amazing amazing! Fair Harvest is such a gem and an absolute must if you’re camping in the Margaret River area. Close to town but you feel like you’re out in the country. Animals, plants, yoga, a fire pit... Everything you need to have a peaceful stay! Incredibly eco-friendly and environmentally conscious. Gorgeous grounds and great amenities. Camp hosts were awesome and helpful, too. Can’t say enough good things about this special place!

Probably one of the best campsite I stayed in (and I went to many in Australia/New Zealand).
Eco friendly campsite located 6km from Margaret River in a quiet and wild area, this place have hot showers/dry toilets/campkitchen/plugs to recharge your phone and other devices/playground for children (or adults ahah).
We paid $53 for 3 adults (1 car, 2 tents).
You can recycle cans/glass bottles/food scraps... Just make sure you bring your own trash bag for your trash that can't be recycled (they only take the stuff that can be recycled, which is fair enough).
They also have some goats with their own house, chilling around...
I wish we had enough time to check the permaculture area, an other time maybe :)
Anyway, everything is built in a logical and ecological way, respectful of the earth.
I hope we will see more places like this in the future, this is a great concept and that's how I picture the accommodation of tomorrow.

We had the best pear cake at Jodi’s beautiful and cosy cafe. The camping area has very good amenities, plus relaxing and nature friendly gardens.
