My fiancé and I had an amazing dinner at Purple Martin Grille & Cellar at the Timberlake Country Club. We started with the scallops and loved every bite. The flavor was amazing and the scallops were cooked to perfection. We decided to share the ribeye with asparagus and deep fried potato cakes. The picture says it all! The steak was a perfect medium rare and the asparagus with crisp but tender. The fried potato cakes had a delectable crunch and a rich texture that melted in your mouth. The Demi glaze sauce paired perfectly as it was delicate but extremely flavorful and enhanced every bite of the steak. Overall an absolutely incredible and Tasty experience with superb service all around. We will definitely be coming back!!!

This is my favorite course in the Greer/Greenville area. Love the layout. Really let's you grip and rip. Also the greens are fantastic - they roll true, reward and penalize due your shot placements, and are slick and smooth. 5 star, highly recommended!

I have worked with Tom on and off for several years now. He is excellent at teaching the fundamentals of the golf swing - long and short game. He gives clear, positive feedback and drills to help you improve. I highly recommend Tom if you are looking to improve your golf game.

I went to Coach Tom Cannarozzo looking for someone to help me better understand the fundamentals of the golf swing. In our first 90 minute session he gave me exactly what I was looking for. Tom did a great job using visual aids as well as conveying information in a way that I could easily understand and apply it to my golf swing. I really enjoyed the experience and am definitely going back to seek further instruction.

I have been going to camps here my entire life and have had so many positive experiences with this place. Beautiful location with many activities on site. I have stayed in several different buildings and I have camped at the campground. Loved it all. Also, I just got married up there, and we were overwhelmed at the support that was given to us from management and others who work there. Greg, the director, went above and beyond our expectations and offered us great ideas and on site help for the ceremony and reception, and also kept in frequent communication with us about what we wanted for the wedding! His entire crew made wedding preparation so much easier! Please visit if you can!

Played Possum Trot today because it’s one of the courses I played here when I first started playing many years ago. Word has it they will be closing soon so it was a nostalgic round. I took my son, daughter and future son in law. Didn’t bat an eye when they charged us $59.00 a player on a course that doesn’t live up to that rate. My daughter has played 3 rounds of golf in her life. We played on a Tuesday for a reason, so that she could play and not interfere with weekend golfers. The staff was friendly for the most part. Guy at the counter could brush up on his attitude a little. Starter was great. Snack bar attendant phenomenal. But things got a little weird on hole 11 or 12. Can’t remember exactly. We are playing slow as my daughter is a beginner. We let a twosome play through. As we sit and watch the twosome play through the ranger comes up and advises us that “we don’t let groups play through here” and goes on to lecture me on why I shouldn’t let groups play through. I told him I had never heard of such a thing and that golf etiquette dictates that you let faster groups play through. The ranger was an older gentleman. Very polite and I can only assume he was enforcing someone else’s policy. Regardless, I know the course is closing soon. I expected a much better experience. I certainly expected that golf etiquette would be honored at a course that had been around as long as this one. For the money, go play somewhere else.

Great golf course with a amazing staff. local atmosphere and always smiling. Fun course there is not a hole lot of trouble to get into but a lot of fun if like hitting driver open fairways with some doglegs to cut over make up some ground all in all the course was in great shape and if they keep it open I will be back on my next vacation. I would love to see them stay open. I would say it’s a course for all ages and capabilities good, great or bad golfers alike would have a great time here. Thanks again for a awesome golf experience.

I went to the er room at night a couple years ago with severe jaw and neck pain (which had been ramping up over several days). After waiting for hours I was seen by a “doctor” who said there was nothing wrong with me and to go home. The next day I went to an urgent care center who diagnosed a wisdom tooth infection and provided antibiotics which resolved the issue. This is something that should be easily recognizable and yet not only did they fail to do so after making me wait for hours they also had the gall to send a bill for several hundred dollars. If you need healthcare spend the extra time to go somewhere else because you won’t find that here.

If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. This place is utterly useless if you're looking for someone to actually care about your health issues. I have only sought emergency care two other times in my life because I only go when I am experiencing alarming symptoms of some sort or in an unbearable amount of pain. I last went 8 years ago (surprisingly good experience), and the first time was 13 years before that (also a horrible and pointless visit like the one I'm about to describe). So clearly I was in dire straits to even consider making the trip there. I went at a time when there were maybe 2 other people in the waiting room and was taken back quickly, which I was impressed with considering most of the negative reviews of this place have to do with long wait times. Yet once I was actually in an exam room, it was rush-rush-rush as if I'm not worthy of their time. Worse, neither the nurses nor Dr. Docyk even bothered to look at me and treat me like an individual person the entire time I was there - they just stared at their computer or their notes and grunted the occasional, "Uh-huh" as I answered their questions about what was going on and the seriousness and severity of my symptoms. If they were at all concerned, they did a fantastic job of hiding it. The only ones who seemed even remotely aware that I wasn't simply there to take up space were the lab tech and the x-ray tech (Jim, I think?) who both treated me with care and respect. I wish I could remember all the names but I was so worried about my symptoms and then so disappointed with how unimportant I was made to feel that I forgot most of them. Basically, this visit was just one big steaming pile of adding insult to injury and allowed me to witness firsthand an incompetence and indifference that both infuriated me and depressed me. Picture if you will, an overall healthy woman in her early 30's with no hx of heart or lung problems goes to the ER for sudden severe chest pain (not caused by eating or physical exertion), and what do these "medical professionals" do? Order a CXR, an EKG, draw a little blood, then tell her that they can't find anything wrong and to just "come back if it happens again." I was given no answers, no theories as to a cause, no offer to explore further (because other tests like a CT may have shown what a simple CXR would not), no peace of mind, NO HELP WHATSOEVER. Not only that, but because the registrar apparently didn't even look at the current insurance info in my chart or even ask me about it at the time to confirm it, I was billed as self-pay to the tune of several thousand dollars and had to call to get that straightened out. Then I was re-billed and am currently still paying both a hospital and doctor bill monthly - despite them doing absolutely nothing to help me. I mean, chest pain is not something to just brush off, especially with my specific risk factors (such as blood clots) - but that's exactly what they did. I realize you have to pay them whether they actually help you or not, but it's sickening to get stuck with a huge bill when you're even worse off than you were before going. My symptoms did return and were even worse, and I did seek care again - somewhere better. I'd likely just die before going back to this wretched excuse for an emergency ward, because I'd probably die anyway even if I did go back. The ineptitude and apathy shown by this place boggles the mind. But hey...at least I didn't have a long wait, so there's that (eye roll). I'm not even going to blame Oconee in and of itself, I blame Prisma as a whole. They definitely have some good employees (not that I've met very many), but the corporation itself sucks. Sure it's a business, and businesses have to make money, but money is literally ALL they care about - and if raking in more profits means sacrificing patient care and satisfaction to get more, then that's what they'll do. Only go here if you're beyond desperate or don't mind "healthcare" so bad that even calling it mediocre would be too much of a compliment!

This hospital has never been great. I was born here, as well as the majority of my family. When my older sister was about to be born(1990), the anesthesiologist injected my mom's spinal tap too far and she was left briefly paralyzed and couldn't even swallow. She said the man's eyes were wide when he realized his mistake. She should've sued, but no. I had my tonsils and adenoids removed when I was 4(2002) and had a sporadic complication of vomiting blood and nearly dying less than a month after. I drove one of my ex's here over a year ago for difficulty breathing and a sore throat. He wasn't seen until 3 hours later and the doctor was clueless. He was also sent to Charleston for unneeded genetic testing for a kidney problem they swore would impact him having his tonsils removed? My grandma died of a heart attack ten minutes after arriving via ambulance here and the doctor and his nurse just blankly stared at all of us while we were crying in the conference room. Imagine going to many years of college and spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on your education and you lack compassion, professionalism, and knowledge of the human body. I have maintained that if anything bad ever happens to me, that I will go to AnMed or Greenville. This is the worst hospital I've ever seen and so are the affiliates(OBGYN and other specialists). STAY AWAY

There's an ice cream parlor right next to them as well for those who would enjoy after their meal. I got the Meatloaf Melt Sandwich and it was phenomenal! My wife had the Crab Chowder and she enjoyed it as well. Will continue going to this establishment and highly recommend it to others.

This place was fantastic! We stopped in on our way back from the beach for lunch (but wound up ordering dinner to go as well) We ordered the nachos, greek salad, chicken tenders, ale house burger, quesadilla, and the Rueben. Everything was fresh and flavorful, with really good portions. Also had a few okatie ales and it was a nice local beer

We hated taking our daughter out of this daycare, but we moved an hour away. Ms. Gina, the director is best. I was pregnant, and she waited for me every day to get my daughter from the car. I didn't have to get out. I really appreciate that especially when it rained. My daughter hugged everybody in both classes before leaving each day. So, I knew they did a good job taking care of her. She came home using new terminology that I knew she learned at daycare. Miss Trinity was always in great mood, very respectful, and greeted us with a smile. It was a really awesome experience all the way around.

I was not a fan of the west Columbia location. It was fall, and they almost never went outside. I ended up removing my child due to her having a giant gash on her forehead. The teacher was unaware of what happened. She told me that "She must have scratched it at naptime". Never wrote an accident report until I requested one. I spoke with the director before leaving. She was sorry that it happened. I really wanted to like this center, and maybe she did scratch it. But, she would have really had to dig to create a big spot the size of a quarter on her forehead. The fact that nobody noticed was my concern.

I wish I could give 0 stars, but the system will not let me. In a nutshell, not impressed. They let my potty-trained child wet herself five times out of ten days she was there. Apparently her pants were not 'pulled down low enough when she sat on the potty.' Isn't this their job though? They let her sit in front of the fan with her ears uncovered even though I specifically asked them not to do that because she was recovering from an ear infection. They fed her rancid/sour milk. They let her 'cry it out' so much and for so long that she was gasping for breath and heaving almost seven hours after she got home from Aspire Early. When I asked for refund for the last week when she basically did not attend because I started to realize something was amiss there, I received no response from the owner. I will be reporting all this information to DSS.

This place might take more than one day to see. Fortunately when you buy a pass it's good for the entire week! If there was a negative, I'd say it's not being prepared for how vast the property is. I walked around trying my best to see and find everything this place had to offer and I probably still missed a third of it. The statues are remarkable, and the whole atmosphere is peaceful and tranquil. Much of the property is set up for night time activity as well. But these opportunities seem limited to only a handful of events every year. I visited this place in September and the next night time event is just after Thanksgiving. It's called "night of a thousand candles i believe. I'd definitely love to come back and see it then if the opportunity allows. Everyone should experience this place at least once. But allow yourself a few hours to do so, at the least.

Important: your ticket is good for 7 days so if you don't see it all in one day you can come back.

My children have been attending summer camp with River's Edge Retreat for the past two summers and I have experienced nothing short of a positive experience. From a parental perspective, I find it important to ensure that your children are safe, treated fairly, and enjoy their environment when not in your care. River's Edge Retreat has consistently done this for my family. We have not experienced either child becoming injured, involved in negative activity, complaining about not wanting to return, nor feeling as it they do not matter. My children are raised in a Christian-based home and this camp has helped continue to instill the love of Christ in my children. My husband, being a pastor, along with myself, could not be more pleased when our children come home reciting scriptures they've learned, songs they've learned, and are always eager to tell us about their day! Not to mention the cute little games they've learned from their new friends. Truthfully, the staff works hard to provide a safe and fun environment for the kids. Granted, not everyone will be pleased and I would account that to their expectations being unrealistic with entire camp full of children of varying ages. I believe any facility who offers to care for your child(ren) for a full day by arriving 1-2 hours before the opening of camp, and not departing until 1-2 after the closing of camp should be appreciated for their sacrifices made to help working parents. However, to each his own. For as long as this camp is running my children will be attending. We have developed a beautiful relationship with the directors and most of the camp counselors who genuinely care and love each child they come in contact with.
