I've been using the fields here for a long time, from youth tournament ball to adult slow pitch. The facilities are well maintained and some pretty significant improvements have been made. Years ago, it wasn't uncommon to soak your feet in shallow pools of water in the shallow outfield and corners of the outfield. Nowadays, there might be some damp spots in the shallow outfield behind first and third but the drainage seems to be significantly improved. They've recently installed new fences and updated the dugouts of all the fields and have even updated some of the bleachers. I've also heard that the lights will be getting updated soon which is a blessing for outfielders because they're currently positioned in places that make it easy to lose line drives in them on almost every field. I remember the umps being pretty solid in their consistency when I played tourney youth ball years ago and I hope the same can still be said today. However, some of the umps I've had for slow pitch have been awful. Just this past fall season, I had an ump that I thought they pulled out of concession because someone didn't show up until we drew him for another game later in the season. I will say that some of the slow pitch umps are bad but they're at least bad both ways since they're not showing any obvious team bias. Overall though, I'd recommend playing ball here.

Nice park for softball. Shaded covers on bleachers at each park. Better than most selection at the concession stand.

Plenty of parking , plenty of nice fields , lighting from other fields can be tough to deal with at night.

This school is not forgiving They do not practice Grace. They practice law. My daughter was a perfect kid. She made one mistake because of another girl they took in. She was kicked out for one offense. There was no forgiveness, no grace, no understanding. Because of that my 22 year old daughter is a mess right now. She was forced to go to public school and it completely destroyed her. She could not handle real life. She was bullied and beat up. And this was in Parkville! Do not send your kids to christian school if you expect them to know how to handle the world. I hate this school for what they did to my daughter.

We are so very grateful to have our kids at Maranatha Christian Academy. We have had an amazing experience. Our kids have been well prepared academically, but more importantly they have been nurtured and encouraged spiritually. Maranatha may not have fancy buildings or facilities, but our kids have had the blessing of a rock solid foundation that will prepare them for life.

Access in and out of the parking lot isnt fantastic but the park itself gets nicer every time we come.
