I’m a student here and I love it.
First of all, there is barely any drama between students. I have made many friends here and have learned so much more than any other school that has taught me.
Second, the teachers actually CARE about the students. They actually take their time to improve the lives of every one at this school. Here, students can be friends with teachers and also respect them.
I actually have improved greatly academically and personally. I have never felt so accepted at any school before. This school is perfect for people who don’t seem to “fit in” in most public schools. Everyone at Hawbridge is a weirdo and that’s ok. I have never had such diverse and close classmates and friends.
That’s why I love this school so much.
Love this school - we've done public and private and Hawbridge offers a solid experience. Music program is top-notch and teachers I've met seem passionate and are encouraged to be creative. Highly recommend, especially if your family is in need of a supportive and nurturing safe space for your child.
I think Hawbridge is a pretty good school. For the most part they hire caring, competent teachers, and the school culture is wonderful. A thing to keep in mind if you are thinking of sending your children here or going here yourself is that at Hawbridge we do not have as many opportunities as other schools and at the high school level especially there are a few less classes than there might be at other places. It isnt that bad though, and there are plenty of classes to taek if you want to.
A lot of the one star reviews are from last school year when there was drama surrounding two of the teachers and the administration. That has since been sorted out, and although I disagree with some of the administrations decisions, I think all in all, Hawbridge is a pretty good place to go.

Yes, I went here for a while and am writing under a pseudonym. And no, this school did not teach me that word. This school taught me close to nothing. I am not smarter now, nor am I a hard worker. Life at that school made me a really rough person mentally and emotionally. And, listen, there were parts of this school that I liked, and there are tons of families that think this school is great, but me personally, I would rather just live with my parents until I'm 30. Yea.
I went there for a while and you would think they would be really nice and they try, but often time I would land in trouble for a having different opinions and beliefs. I feel that the teachers are biased and overall, I hated it. I also had a special needs friend who was not given the care and attention needed, and considering this to be a very very small school, It could have been given. My christian friends and I all left the same year because of discrimination.
I can honestly say my experience at TMCS was terrible. I went for part of middle school experienced a gap in my learning when I entered high school. The class sizes are small and don’t allow too many opportunities to make friends. A lot of backstabbing and the administration doesn’t do much to help. I’m 20 now and in college but looking back I wish I never went.

Great place for kids to practice. Our 11 year old wants to go all the time. $5 for small bucket of golf balls. We get abt an hour of golf practice with $15. Tires them out and gets them in shape.
Wish they had another bench for parents to sit under tree. Can't bring your own chairs. It's a practice area not a golf course. Probably why there is only 1 bench.
Golf course is available for the avid golfers.
Make sure you wear hat, sun block, gloves, bring your own equipment & bring a half frozen water bottle. It gets hot.
Excellent service and staff , overall course was in great shape, I actually enjoyed the deep rough it gives a nice little challenge , greens were currently being worked on but the rest of the experience totally made up for it. Tyler was awesome in the pro shop and the gal at the bar had a great personality. Great Job Stonebridge CC will definitely play again

A really easy, short, straight golf course. Boring to play but good to play if you're new to golf or you don't play often. The course wasn't in the best shape. The grass was ridiculously long. It was a cow pasture for the most part and a few holes have bad washout issues. The greens were in pretty good shape but they definitely overwatered a few. They were sponges. The Pro Shop is pretty nice but expect full vendor price for everything. The gentleman working was nice and helpful. I only gave it 3 stars because it's not very well kept. (Biggest issues was sponges greens, a few teeboxes that were in horrible shape, and distance markings are very poor and inaccurate) $38 for 18 with a cart isnt bad at all for what you're getting.
Great course. Did not play regular golf but rather disc golf. Very nice course that was setup as a disc golf course 9n the back 9.
Awesome staff that always give great golfing tips. Jeff is the best.

My mother was very happy at St. Joseph's. She came to the rehab unit from the hospital and was very ill. Mom did very well working with the rehab staff. She was able to move to the skilled nursing facility (850 Hall) and was under the care of hospice. Within a coiuple of months, Mom improved so much she no longer was under Hospice care. The nursing staff, nursing assistants, physical therapy, housekeeping and dining staff all contributed to her improvement. Mom was there for three years before peacefully passing away at 96 years of age. The staff made a valuable contribution to her quality of life. She could not have been in a better care setting.
Finding a nursing home is always a stressful experience. I am my sister's guardian. She is a severely brain injured person form a car accident 35 years ago. So I have extensive knowledge of nursing homes. I moved my sister to St Joseph's from Connecticut over a year ago. I investigated many nursing facilities without much success. That is until I found St Joseph's. From the moment I walked into St Joe's it was clearly different. The first thing I noticed was it's cleanliness compared to other facilities.Then I had the opportunity to meet administrators, nurses and very importantly the nursing aides. I was impressed with how they cared about my sister's situation. My family made the decision to move her to St Joseph's and we have never regretted it even though we have an hour commute to visit. It is worth it because of the care she receives. Everyone is responsive to my questions and concerns. As Catholics we are also thrilled that the Eucharist resides in the Chapel. Now nothing is perfect particularly at a nursing home. However St Joe's willingness to respond to situations that arise, their desire to care and their organization sets them apart in a very difficult business.
My dad was at St. Joes for a couple of weeks post amputation through the Christmas holidays. We were very pleased with the kindness of the staff and cleanliness of the facilities. Thank you to everyone at St. Joseph’s of the pines. Highly recommend

It's a huge school and very good teacher's that will set down and explain it better until you understand what she said and the teacher's actually care about the students and they don't just pass the children into the next year to get rid of the students.. also the school has really good food and nutritional food.. lots of parking space. And they always have a security guard at the end of the road so that something bad doesn't happen and to help make the students, parents and faculty feel safe while school is in progress...such a great school...
It is an older school, but teachers will work with you to help you better understand a unit. Food is pretty good, needs more options. Women teachers have hard times at stopping a fight, but it isn't a big deal.

I played this course on 9/13/2020. The setting is beautiful, the course layout is spectacular, and the staff is friendly enough. However, the course was in bad condition. At $80/round, I don't expect bare patches in the fairways and on almost every green. There was also a lot of crab grass growing on the greens and the cart paths were in need of some major TLC. This course has the potential to be a really great spot, but it needs some serious rehab. It definitely wasn't worth the price of the round and the drive out from Raleigh. I really do hope they can turn this course around, but it will be a while before I consider playing there again.
Played SPGC this past Friday and needless to say it is in dire need of some serious TLC! I loved the layout but the course itself was not in great shape. The fairways were decent but the greens looked rough. They were also incredibly slow and beat to death. The cart paths were absolutely dreadful! There were lots of washouts and places in need of some serious drainage mediation. I believe I heard it was recently purchased by some local investors so I hope they have big plans for the course. I will definitely give it another shot down the road but not before some serious improvements are made. On the bright side the staff was fantastic. Everyone was super nice and friendly which is why it gets two stars this time. It could be an awesome course so I really hope the new owners will put the $ into it.

This course is great. The staff is friendly. Golf carts have gps. Staff makes sure you have water. Food and drink half way through. I've played here a dozen times. Played today 7/15/2020.
Small town with not much to do outside of golfing but the course is beautiful and the atmosphere is so great that you don't want to leave the resort. Boating jet skis fishing, lots to do. We stayed and played and had a great time. Great service and wildlife on the preserve was an added bonus.

Live locally in Calabash. Took the kids out for a quick 9 on the Jones Course on my day off. Course was in great shape . Al & Andrew were great! Very accommodating. Thanks guys we had a blast! We'll definitely be back.
The golf course staff is extremely rude. As a property owner, it's insulting when the bag drop attendants question whether you know where the tee boxes are because they don't think you're actually a owner. In addition, the courses are in terrible shape, especially for the price. I'd recommend you work on your employees' manners.

This is the neatest little shop on the island! Every time my family is on vacation we stop by at least two times! The staff is greatly hospitable and the owner is extremely nice and helpful. This place makes Bald Head Island seem even more like home than it already does!

This is home plate - the local winery in Mt Airy and an easy drive in the Jeep. Much better than the options downtown. Enjoy the Blue Ridge views from the crush-pad. There is Sangria, fresh craft beers and wine. Currently, my summer favorite is the Tramelot.
Excellent beer selection and many red wines. Need a few more whites. The views are phenomenal!

This hospital is very satisfactory all the doctors are very nice and they treat amazing everybody over there is sweet ,and how clean it is very satisfactory
To start off with the staff works at there own peace and have no since of time for the patients that they are waiting for or have under there care, if you some up to the ER you more likely be waiting for approximately 2 to 3 hours in the waiting room and that’s not counting the time your going to wait after they bring you back to a room. The nurse act as if there goddesses there self and the covid-19 only boosted there incentive to be lazy and not do their job properly. If you have kids/new borns expect to hear them cry for a long point of time. Oh and I forgot to mention the rudeness of most nurses and doctors at the Asheboro hospital is beyond hands-down the worst I’ve ever seen and had to deal with. For another fact if you tell them what’s wrong with you or what you believe to be wrong with you and the symptoms they will completely disregard your opinion and do a full scale up of everything that could possibly be wrong with you instead of just listening because they know everything or at least they think they do. There’s a reason Half their patients go to other hospitals because they cannot do their job. So my main question is why are they even open or not under new ownership that will take it seriously and make a change and take care of their patients and not have such a long wait time.

This people are great! I have taken 2 animals to them in the last 12 months. The first was a baby possum in 2019 and last month, April '20, a baby squirrel. The staff welcomed the animals with open arms and I have no doubt they were cared for with love, affection and common sense. I highly recommend should anyone find themselves with baby wildlife, that they seek help from those who are professionals and can properly care for the animal to ensure its safety and survival.

Not until I requested a manager and a phone number and to take a shoe off the shelf and compare colors did someone finally say just give her her money back! They have poor customer service! Also note they have a sign on their door that says we are required to wear masks in their store. I went in there last week to look around did not have a mask on they made me leave. Today when I went into the store to make my return I was wearing my mask yet customer service Representatives were not. If I am required to wear a mask in your store then all Personnel should be required to follow the same rules! I will not do business with this company due to their lack of customer service and their non-compliancy to their own rules

We initially had some issues with miscommunication, but the owner took full responsibility and attempted to make things right for our family. The coach was very friendly and taught our child a variety of foundational skills.

Though there is a fee ($8 for adults) and also not counting the ferry ride fee to the island...it is walking distance from the ferry loading/unloading docks or you can rent golf carts or a bicycle. Also know that the ferry rides fill up quick and are limiting the amount of people on them.
I was very intrigued by the fact of how old it was and how good of shape that it was still in! I love history, and get lost in the rich culture of out country! God knows that if we look at our lives and look at the world..... We will see how lucky we really are!
Nice day trip. $23 per person for a round trip ferry ride. The parking was $11. Rented a golf cart for $60 to get around the island. No cars allowed. They also have bicycles to rent. Went to the Old Baldy lighthouse to take a few pics. Went to the beach for a while. There are several public accesses. Went on several nature trails. The conservancy does a real nice job on the trails. We will go back again. Very enjoyable.
