100 ks from midland but well worth the trip. Make a booking and get home cooked meal with home made scones cream and jam followed by tea or coffee. Assortment of cakes home made or cold drinks or ice cream on a cone or stick. Great place for the kids too. They have take away or dine in. Its an oasis in the dessert and very relaxing and peaceful. The prices are excellent for way out there. Take a bus with a group or take a drive with the family. You wont be disappointed. All food is home made and cooked meals are cooked onsite.

A fun, well designed mini golf course with plenty of cover for those hot days. There are extra games for the kids to play near the Cafe. The Cafe serves decent food in HUGE portions! The owners and staff are friendly and happy to help. A great day out for the family.

Really fun place to be; lots of cool scientific facts, interactive equipment, and things to explore and experiment. My personal favourite is the replication of weight on different planets depending on the gravity force of the planet and dropping water filled balloons from the tower. Friendly staff and well maintained place.

Lots of hands on play and learning for the kids, but and small. Lots of great information, well presented. Cafe looked good, but we didn't eat there, and they had fresh rainwater for drinking.

Great place for science enthusiasts! The main centre has 3 distinct areas: biology, gravity, and cosmology. The biology area consisted of several microscopes with various taxidermy bugs, plants and microcells and organisms. The gravity section was the main area with several interactive displays. The cosmology went more in depth and continued on from the gravity exhibit in the white dome. It talked more about binary black holes and the discovery of gravity waves, and the work done at the centre many years ago - it is quite interesting for those wanting to learn a bit more. The star of the show was the drop tower, the Perth youtubers ‘how ridiculous’ use for their videos. You can go up yourself with balloons given by the staff and drop them from 45 metres up, making a huge bang on the sand below. Overall the centre is great, several interactive displays and interesting information. Defiantly worth a visit if you’re in Perth for a bit and are interested mainly in space. With a cafe and friendly staff this place is defiantly great for small families. I will note that some of the displays and areas are starting to become a bit tired and showing their age. But it is probably only due to lack of funding and the remoteness of the location to keep them maintained.
