Was the perfect place for my future hubby and I to celebrate our anniversary. Will definitely make it a tradition. We choice the queen suite and got a beautiful view of the river and a relaxing spa bath. The river was full of life. We ventured down a short stone stair way to spend time under the trees, feeding the ducks & enjoying the sound of the birds. An absolutely beautiful place to be.

A wonderful place to stay Close to beach and shops and eateries Only negative I found is no lifts it only has stairs 47 steps from parking to top floor We had been advised about the stairs at booking and we chose to be on the top floor Would happily stay again Only scored 4stars because there’s always room for improvement

Lovely unit but no air conditioner in the living area (only in the bedroom). No lifts ( seemed ok until you have to carry your luggage etc up to the top level) and the bed is too firm for our liking. Good value for what you pay. Just not our preferred accomodation. The location is great.

Pleasant area but very squasht, don't recommend any huge vehicles. there is multiple outdoor parking around the area but it's more inconvenient. Hotel is lovely and would come back another time.

First weekend of retirement and we had a wonderful time celebrating at Big 4 Caloundra. Parked the van and didn't take the car out again till checkout time. Everything we need is here or within walking distance. The pool is beautiful and the coffee van is only a few metres away within the grounds. The van sites are large and easy to access. The locked back gate allows access to waterfront shaded areas to relax on hot days. 10 out of 10 from us!

On arrival we where welcomed like long lost friends. The young ladies working in reception need a pay rise, so professional. The park is immaculate, so clean and tidy. Amenities, clean and like brand new. Will stay here again .. As we are traveling around Australia we will be passing on our stay with you. Keep up the great work Ian and Ellen

Another great week stay at a great destination.Cabin was an accessible cabin which was great for using a wheelchair as well as accommodating our children so we can all have a family holiday. All staff are very friendly and helpful and the park is very clean and well maintained. Great kids activities throughout the stay. A special thanks to the Manager, Rob for his assistance during our stay.

Great apartment ,(slightly dated) great location , and amenities , however the only spoiler was the people in lower units that sincerely believe it's their God given right to reserve every possible sunbed within 10 metres of their apartment ,.Shame to witness the same group of Ladies with towels on sunbeds by the pool and outside their units ...none of which were being used ...It's Australia..not Tenerife

Beautiful place and in a good position. Clean and nice apartment, beautiful new swimming pool. The only issues were, poor wifi and freezing cold swimming pool. I would have loved to have swam in it as it is brand new and really nice but they need to warm the water and especially in the jacuzzi. You can't have a freezing cold jacuzzi.

We have been very impressed with flexible and highly responsive staff. Good Communication and customer service. There was some issue with Keys and not only A staff member personally drove to us late at night, but also gave us discount for inconvenience. Good old community spirit. Thank you.

We've visited Caloundra many times but this was the first time we've used the Caloundra Holiday Center. The staff were amazing and so helpful. I rang several times from NZ before our trip asking about various things like afterhours key pickup by our friend arriving before us, and nothing was a bother - so helpful! Will definitely be using this company again - the lovely staff have already answered questions i had for our next stay!

Ideal place to camp before going up Mt Beerwah, lots of mosquitoes, lots. Very quite place. Not potable drinking water to the camp site. Clean amenities. No kids playground.

Great place and really friendly owner. Hot showers, grill area, well kept lawns. You can also see one of the mountains from here and best star gazing at night. Very calm and almost no noise from the road.

Great place for kids without hours and klms of pathways to walk. Our daughter is 2 and really enjoyed it. Good range of animals and place is well kept. The guy driving the train this morning was friendly and good at his job and clearly enjoyed what he does. Overall a great place for kids and place is pram friendly in Some spots but others it was just easy to carry our daughter. We will return.

I am not a zoo fan. Animals in cages make me sad. But the animals here looked content safe and well cared for. The monkeys were just adorable and the Meerkats too cute.

What a great day out, with loads of animals to see and in such a beautiful setting. New enclosures are being constructed to house more animals and the whole place is lush and green. Good fun taking the train ride to get around the park. Will definitely make another visit in the future.

Lovely boat ride to the ocean to catch different types of fish. Very easy to catch the fish no skill or experience needed. The onboard crew helpful and friendly. They gutted and cleaned the fish for us and then kept them in ice cold storage coolers until we got back to shore to take them home. Fist time going out to sea and felt so sea sick which was not a pleasant experience.

What a great day out on the water on Sunday 27 March 2016. The crew were great, very helpful and always ready with a tip or two. Couldn't be happier. Our family of 4 (kids aged 6 and 4 years) took a canoe on a little trip up the creek with the help of Robert (Lake Escapades). He provided us with all of the equipment we needed, including a GPS which he tracked to ensure we didn't get into any problems. Robert was friendly, helpful and made our trip thoroughly enjoyable - especially when other companies turned us away because we only wanted a casual hire (not a serious trip up the river). THANK YOU Robert, we will tell our friends!

I visited Sunset Cove & was very impressed by the quality of the furniture & Stylish decorations in the Units. It has a lovely Tropical Pool & 2 minutes from the beautiful Noosa River. Unit 5 was very impressive & felt like a home away from home... only spotlessly Clean! The Resort Managers, Susanne & Dom are very friendly & I would highly recommend Sunset Cove!

It's impossible to see everything in one day. Best take the little train through to the Africa section and work slowly back. Being from Zululand I was excited to see 5 of our rhino. The tiger show was very impressive.

Easy to navigate once inside the park. Everything was clean. The animals seemed happy and well taken care of. Staff was very nice. Food was quick and easy. Very glad I made it a part of my Australia vacation.

Lovely location, however be aware of unit renovations. We were woken at 7am to jack hammering. drilling, hammering and sanding for around 8 hours. We were not advised at time of booking or arrival. Not relaxing with construction noise and tradesman everywhere. Had to pay school holiday rates for the privilege.

We stayed at this resort for 3 weeks and loved every minute of it, loved the waterfront position and proximity for eating out and shopping. Great for stand up paddling and close to bike tracks. Loved sitting out on the deck overlooking the water and being visited by the resident ducks and lizards. Friendly and helpful hosts too !

Found other accommodation close by with ACTUAL direct pool access straight off the balcony as it SHOULD BE. Wish i could post picture to warn you. Horrible room facing another building as the view.. I would like a refund. I was offered direct pool access over the phone which sold me on ur resort .I sent my son into the room first with a video camera ready to see his Delight when he saw the pool outside the window ..the exact opposite is true.. no pool no view. I was shocked at what I saw and immediately left and told reception I wasn't going to be staying there. Was not a nice room had no view at all besides the back of another building. Every industry has its own terminology and in the accommodation industry Direct Pool access means you'll see a pool and you get access to it straight off your balcony..not walking 20 m down a path between buildings. I can name other accommodation in the area that have a Direct Pool access. You should not call yours one. It is deceiving compared to the actual reality of what Direct Pool access is in the industry. A wonderful venue to chill out and to enjoy the warm sunny days while on holiday from NZ's cold wet winter......very reasonable rates. The units are large and well appointed with easy access to a heated swimming pool and spa. Management are friendly, welcoming and helpful......any problems with services in the apartment are immediately attended to and repaired/replaced. We return year after year for our extended winter holiday......highly recommended.

It's was absolutely great. Only a few things wrong but didn't effect our stay. The place needs some T.L.C The toilet holder is falling off in the ensuite, there's paint peeling nearly everywhere, no screens so it's a bit hard to keep a window open at night when it's not, the fans are installed in the wrong place, not over the bed so it became quite hot in the room, the fans are old and dated..the lounges need upgrading... Small things that would have made our stay, cooler and more comfy.

Wonderful riding experience for our family of beginners. Beautifully one-hour ride through parts of the lake and into the National Park. Would definitely recommend the experience.

My 3 kids loved their first beginner trot whist on holidays with the beautiful horses Sammy chapie and Jessie. They went around the lake and had so much fun. Lucie and the other instructer was fantastic with them. We will definitely be back!
