Totally not worth it, 20$ person a night (60$ total for us), camping site's floor is to hard to place a tent properly, no tables nearby, the cafe/restaurant's prices are ridiculous 7$ for 1.5L water bottle, 10$ for 5kg of ice and the mains round the 30$. There's no rubbish bins anywhere around and the toilets are better cleaned in the free camping than in the Eco Retreat, last but not least there's what I believe to be a generator working all night.. The only positive side is the close distance to the gorges, certainly not positive enough to make us go back

Very welcoming and helpful staff! There're plants/flowers around each site which made us feel like home. The amenities are clean and well maintained. And there's a mini golf course which we had fun in. We also loved the little animals residing in the park. An amazing holiday park overall!

Convenient location - Close to Hobart and a useful place to stay the night before taking your rented campervan back. Extremely clean facilities - there is also a laundry - cold wash only. There are native chickens and bandicoots on site - amusing to watch. Check in very smooth - pleasant staff. If you are planning to arrive on either a Sunday or Monday, be aware that the restaurant and pizzeria are both closed on those evenings - it seems to be quite difficult to get anything to eat on Sunday evenings generally.

I have never felt so unwelcome finding out about booking. Lady was rude, and an excuse for everything. Advertise as pet friendly but told small dogs only. She carried on about chooks, barking dogs, and leaving dogs.... we have been travelling 12months with our dog and never felt so unwelcome.

Clean and spacious with equipped kitchen. After hours check in instructions were clear enough, though I almost missed the note about dishes cleaning and rubbish removal. Excellent location to stay a night before early flight the next day, because it is just 2-minute drive to Hobart Airport.

Nicely located for our Hobart adventures, neat and clean cabin in a well maintained park. Friendly greeting on arrival! The two bed cabin was not huge but adequate for four adults in two rooms. Surprisingly we could not here the planes at the airport, thatch good!

You get what you pay for. Its very basic. It's clean. It provides a good base for Freycinet National Park. It has an excellent location. It's close to a couple of restaurants and grocery stores. It's an easy stroll to a beach where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. There is parking right next to your lodge. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The bathrooms have no amenities except for clean towels. If you're expecting five star service - this isn't the place for you. This place worked for us as we just needed a clean bed to sleep on and a place to dump our bags so that we could go out and enjoy the national parks.

Nice view of the ocean, the toilet block down the bottom which I used was nice. Only 2 showers there though. Kitchen is not closed off and is minimal however it looked like they were building an extension and it was good enough. Spacious lots for your campervan

I think this is the nearest accommodation you can get to Mt Field National Park. We stayed for one night at Cottage 4. To be honest we regretted not spending more time at Mt Field National Park/Russell Falls. The cottage itself was very clean but the sofas were quite old. Still clean though. The kitchen was fully furnished. Cottage 4 also had a laundry machine and dryer. Cottage 4 came with a bunk bed and a queen bed in a bedroom. All 3 beds had heated blankets. There was no WiFi though. Phone signal was also quite weak during the time we spent there. No problem though as the backyard and surroundings were stunning. Check in was was easy as the owners stayed on the property. Seryn was very helpful and answered our questions with good advice. Will stay here again if we were to come back to Mt Field National Park.

Friendly and helpful hosts, absolutely stellar location next to the river. Great to stay with kids. We saw a platypus in the river, and went on several bush walks easily accessible from the accommodation. We saw some incredible waterfalls and even played in the snow. Cabin well-stocked with everything we might need (although quality of kitchen utensils/appliances quite cheap, and my wife found the mattress and pillow too hard for her comfort).

Very cool place with tons of history. There is not a lot that small children will understand or enjoy, but it is worth the visit. There are lots of buildings to explore with dedicated talks in some of them. The guided tour and harbour cruise are part of the package and worth doing. The place is a world heritage site and is very well maintained. The infrastructure is really good, with cafes and restrooms in a couple spots within the park. A must go if you are visiting Hobart.

So fantastic!!! Loved it. The walking tour was great! Beautiful and informative ferry ride! Grounds and ruins kept beautifully! Lots of parking. Ghost tour was booked out on the day we went so we needed to book for the night after, but the ground pass was valid for two days so we definitely needed that extra time to fully explore Port Arthur and all the history and information it has to offer. Super interesting. A place of quiet reflection and respect. Restaurant was very nice.

The Port Arthur Historic Site is incredibly well run and guides seem very well trained. The history of the place is truly horrific and guides hint at this but don’t dwell on it. The guided tours definitely add a dimension you won’t get walking it on your own even with the guide book. If you are in the region it’s well worth spending the time to visit.

Really glad I read all the reviews before booking for a trail ride here. Called several times over 2 weeks and never even got a response or call back. How are the supposed to get business if they don't even pick up the phone. Talked to other people in the local horse community. Turns out the owner has a reputation for being melodramatic, unprofessional and rude. Very glad we didn't book here.

At the end of March this year my daughter and I had the pleasure to stay a couple of days at Horse Haven. It was a delightful experience. Conny was welcoming, kind and very engaging. We ordered the breakfast for the two mornings; the food and presentation were amazing. I have never tasted such delicious goats milk. We enjoyed walking around the area and met numerous people who were all very friendly. The cottage we stayed in was very comfortable and roomy. We went outside to see the stars at night - absolutely spectacular! I especially appreciated Conny's authenticity - she genuinely cares about people, animals, and making a positive contribution to this planet. I would highly recommend a visit to this farm.

They do not provide farm stay anymore but the owner (Conny) introduced us to her sister (Vera) who had her cottage available for stay over. The sister's cottage is just opposite the horse Haven and it was pretty, clean and lovely. As for the the horse riding..it was great, the horses are gentle. It can get tiring after awhile.. Men wear tighter undies (if you know what I mean????)

Great temperature, not overpriced, not too chlorinated, hot showers (when available), decent change room (when available), always friendly staff, love swimming here, great atmosphere.

Took my daughter for a half day holiday program. It was really well run, all the equipment looked like it was maintained really well. Instructors were great with the kids and were understanding of the kids who were a bit apprehensive about using some equipment. Highly recommend.

Always clean always friendly with a great pool spa and steam room. It's fantastic to be swimming again after months of Covid19 shutdowns. Its never to busy or noisey thankfully when compared with Aquatic centre.

I only do swim here (doesn’t use the gym facility). I like the pool here as it is quieter than aquatic centre, but a bit more pricy. I guess you get what you pay for. Overall happy with the place - car packing can be a bit narrow, may need to park off street on peak timing.

I started here 3 weeks before covid shut the gym and have now done another 3 weeks as part of the 6 week challenge. Ive had great results losing 10kg with help from the great trainers. The facilities are great and the trainers and staff are very friendly. It's always nice to have a friendly smile on an early morning start before work.
