The Realm ( Vicky, Nathan, and Jessie) are priceless. It takes a village to raise healthy children. In LA it's hard to find but this gem of an academy has become our village. From creativity to academics they have guided my son and I. They have supported my parenting experience immensely and even after we stopped attending classes they were still a stronger support system then the school my son was attending. IF you don't have children or your kids are grown up and you have the time or resources to support an education academy, please choose the realm as the place you give, give back or learn to pay it forward. They are growing children into amazing adults and I want to thank them by asking the community at large to do something for the Realm today. Much love and appreciation, Leila

Fun, creative, safe, and educational! All staff members have a great attitude, and are willing to ensure your kid has a good time. Their parent educational classes give a great insight on parenting skills and tips! They also have fantastic after school programs in addition to their homeschooling and musical lessons! I strongly recommend Realm Creative Academy.

After being really impressed with the creativity, learning and fun in the summer camp and spring camp, we decided to try the Realm for homeschooling. My son has been attending the homeschool program since March 2015 and it was the best move we ever made for him - and our family. Our greatest hope for our son's education that he would cultivate a life- long love of learning, and the character and self esteem to try his hardest and live up to his potential. We believe in project based, hands-on education that can be rigorous as well as fun. We found all that and more at The Realm. Vicky and Jessie are devoted to pioneering a more effective educational model, and it comes from a place of love for all children. They recognize that each child’s potential for greatness is because of their differences, and respect each child as valuable members of the community. They and the teachers really listen and get to know each kid. The low student:teacher ratio enables all kids to have a voice that gets heard and understood. Each educator on staff lives and breathes their work; clearly passionate about what they can share with the kids, and the innovative educational model they are building together as a team. As such every teacher is 'that one teacher that changed (my) life'. Every one. And my son has about 11 or so teachers! This has resulted in him discovering interests and talents in areas that he otherwise would not have, in addition to soaring at his own speed in the subjects that he already gravitated to. The location in Santa Monica is fabulous and enables the kids to have classes out of the center, in nature and in the community. The learning is exciting, deep, practical. They are also extremely hands on in social-emotional learning. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is my son would rather go to his classes at the Realm than go on trips or holidays.

My son loves surfing now more than 'screens'! :) After just a few days at camp, he was surfing on his own. The Perfect Day office crew was great to work with and my son just adored his counsellors. He can't wait to go back next year. We miss you guys already. See you soon!

Come for theatre and stay for the community. We've become so much more engaged in the local entertainment scene since coming to Albie Selznick's fantastic show, Magic Monday. There is a variety of performances, including one-man shows (Einstein by Jack Fry), company performances (Alice and Fabulous Wonderland) and Magic Monday which has multiple entertainers each performance. The courtyard provides a cozy place to hang out before the show and feels miles away from the hustle and bustle of the Santa Monica Promenade. It's quaint. It's nostalgic. It's perfect.

McCabe's is a wonderful place to hear live music. It seats about 150 or 200 people max; there is not a bad seat in the house. They host mostly acoustic music like folk, blues, and country. Prices very depending upon the talent. Ample street parking but watch the signage as the Santa Monica Police love to ticket.

Friendly to musicians of all ages and skill levels. Relaxing atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. The store offers a lot of services too, including lessons, guitar repair, and concerts. Don't forget to grab a free guitar pick when you visit!

I got accepted to two schools but wanted to start with a summer course at Pepperdine to see how it goes. I enrolled in one class and before the class started I asked professor for the syllabus, and few additional questions. He emailed me he would gladly speak to me about the class I want to take and gave me the phone number to call. I am not a native speaker and I have an accent. When I called, he was very rude, asked me who I am, and then he said I got the wrong number and hanged up on me. I withdrew the class immediately to get my money back and I decided to go to different university instead, with better reputation. There are other better schools out there.

On September 11 every year the main lawn adjacent to PCH is adorned with thousands of flags. Each flag representing a person that died on 911. It’s truly beautiful and moving. It’s a great photo opportunity through the flags looking towards the Pacific Ocean. Go near sunset.

Personal opinion, may be Pepperdine is the most beautiful university in CA, there is a good hiking area just near the campus, and you can enjoy the beach as well. The student here can enjoy the life in mountains and ocean. However, you may not afford the tuition, I didn't apply this school only because the tuition is unbelievable high.

I have liked this gym facility, but the card scanner has been broken for months now. A few weeks ago, they posted that parts have been obtained to fix it. It still isn't fixed. For a school that brags about its education, I figured they would find someone to be able to fix the thing. Instead, I have to wait in line for a clerk to type in each person's card number.before then telling us to just walk through the exit. UPDATE: The card scanner has finally been fixed. A few different times during the hotter months, the AC wasn't working--in addition to the scanner not working. Amazingly, their payment plan still worked. I get to pay the same price for inconveniences. It would also be nice if they could get a larger designated area for people to use yoga mats for stretching. Lately, there are people sprawled out on the floor all over the place. I have to step over people to get to the area to place my backpack. I'm also curious if they only charge 2/3 the regular cost of the facility for the month of December since they are closed for 10 days during that month. It seems unfair to charge me for a full month when the facilities are closed for a 1/3 of the month.

It's a pretty clean gym, especially for University. Wish they could do better about the smell when all the frat boys come. I know it's a gym but it gets nasty and smelly really fast lol.

My 5 year old daughter has been training with LA Gymnastics for about 2 months. I am so pleased with the extensive safety measures, regular cleaning, temperature checks, and all safety protocols that make me comfortable in sending my child to classes. She is training with her favorite coach, Miss Janell, who works with her in detail focusing on body elements and flexibility. My daughter has increased in physical strength, discipline and listening. I highly recommend this school, my daughter absolutely loves the class. Additionally, classes are being held in a state of the art outdoor training space and it is very impressive, we are enjoying our time at LASG. 5 stars!

My princess has taken classes here the past two years. During this time I have seen her confidence and self esteem grow tremendously. The coaches are supportive and patient, and they know how to challenge the kids in a positive, fun way. The facility also has a toddler play area, vending machines, changing tables, and lots of other fun things. This makes it convenient for families to bring their younger children and watch from the bleachers if an older sibling is taking a class. The atmosphere is always fun and happy, and our family enjoys the hour we spend here each week.

What an incredible place! After several years at another gym I brought my girls to Gymnastic school. They were placed in classes according to their skill sets, and immediately started to build their level of conditioning and stamina. There are several assets to this place. They are all experienced gymnasts that can show and demonstrate proper technique and they know how to help your child feel included in the drills no matter their ability, regardless of the noise level from all of the excitement in the room. Spectacular facility and support staff!

i called five times trying all their different options to get through to anyone, no one, zilch, nadda, all messaging machines during hours of operation. they blew me off when i was robbed and did not include the items stolen in the police report, no number was left to call on the report and no one in all of LA police department will pick up the phone.

This Facility has the most Respectful and Most Professional Officers I've ever met, Much Respect. Not that I wanted to be there, but they didn't make it any tougher than it had to be. Thank You guys for treating us like humans who just made a bad decision.

Even in custody the officers and staff were very helpful and friendly and didn't treat you anything less than a regular human being they make you feel as comfortable as you can when being detained and do what they possibly can for you not saying getting arrested is a good thing because it isn't but atleast your dealing with professionalism and not people that walk around like they own the world because of a badge the officers that had me detained did everything they possibly could and I ended up getting released that evening I was very lucky and I cannot Express how much I appreciate the two officers that handled my cases and the nurses on staff at the glass house it made me feel respected and I give them officers props cause not all are like them two I wish I could remember their names but nonetheless very grateful

Is this Org related to the SDCBC (San Diego County Bicycle Coalition) ? As both orgs have the same LOGO. S.D. having a 1/4 gear, as LACBC having a 1/2 gear. Sure, we all know that L.A. county be bigger than S.D. county --- so that be why LACBC has a larger portion of a gearwheel. But still -- why the same logo? Because of political similarities?
