Pat Filanowski, I am sorry you played prior to $400,000 bunker renovation project on The Pioneer and Willows. We neglected the bunkers prior to the start of the renovation this spring as we knew they were going to be completely overhauled (not an indication of our maintenance staff's work ethic). I would invite you to return and play as the project is nearly complete and the new bunkers look fantastic. We are just waiting on the last of the sod to net in and new bunker sand to form. Please see a few pics below.

Played golf in an outing but over the years I have played Kenton County many times. It is in great shape. Greens and fairways very nice.

If you know me, you know I'm partial to the Center. It's one of the hidden jewels of our towns. Historical...yes, community involved...yes, more important than a monkey that went into space eons ago...yes! Known outside of Independence in the upscale writers of Broadway and Hollywood...you do the homework! Guest to major stars in the theater world annually...for sure! Gosh, and it's right here in Independence, Kansas.

I need to use lots of foam rubber sponges for my small business, and Sponge Co has by far the best price per unit. I wanted to write this review to let people know how great their customer service is, too. My latest order was accidentally sent to the wrong address due to an error by UPS. I sent Sponge Co an email when I saw it was headed to the wrong address in my UPS account, and they immediately emailed me back apologizing and letting me know they sent a replacement to the right address. I will definitely keep using them and recommending them to anyone who needs sponges.

Has a great parade with lots of floats and lots of marching bands. They have great food vendors. The carnival has a lot of good rides. They have live music on an outdoor stage in the middle of it all.

Pretty quiet area. There were some fisherman in boats and from the shore. At night there was a little loud music and partying going on the south shore, but not past 10 PM. While there is lot's of natural beauty here, trash can be seen every where: camp fires are started anywhere, plastic bottles and packages are everywhere, even found a firing harness in my stone fire ring. Generally, the park is marginally maintained.

I went fishing on the fishing dock closest to the dam. It was a beautiful afternoon and evening. I got skunked. I had many turtle and small fish bites, but no fish. There is a vault toilet near the dock.

I've been buying road and triathlon bikes for 20 years in both Europe and Australia, Most recently I've been buying from Jay at swim bike run and I've never come across a more knowledgeable and honest sales person. the shop has a good range of bikes but Jay always tries to understand what type of riding I'm doing and only sells me what i need. i recently replaced a bike and again he took the time to go through my options before placing me on the perfect bike for me. They then turned around the bike build in no time to get me back on the road. sensational service! Jay also does a brilliant bike fit!

Great shop, very knowledgeable and helpful. Go above and beyond with lots of useful tips, as well as products. Just did an awesome job getting me back on my Shiv just in time for the triathlon season. Highly recommend Jay and his team! I’ve used bike shops all around Australia and in Europe. SBR are the best I have experienced.

I enjoy playing there. Great courts and generally very friendly staff. I do not like the attitude of the manager Dan who is very intolerant if bookings need to be rescheduled.

Minutes from the city and close to Yarra river. Amazing and fresh produce plus cooked meals. Why the hell would you knock it back.

Such a beautiful little spot. Not a lot happening but it is enough for few hours visit with or without kids. Big and small dogs are more than welcome. Little workshop sorts going on where you meet at the barn and pat a cow,meet Guinea pigs.. resident cats. The Grey cat is Beautiful but I'd leave the calico cat alone. Just different personalities. It is a working farm. They sell their products,a few books and t-shirts. I'm not too thrilled with their cafe though. Waiting time is way too long for a simple drink. Too many customers. Hence the 4 stars . Can bring and i urge you to bring Your own picnic.i think its allowed. However please check before you head out there.
