Awesome department. Everyone I have ever spoken to there, has been so polite and helpful. I dont understand the bad reviews from people regarding receiving speeding tickets.. the police are doing their job. If you werent speeding in the first place, you probably wouldnt have received a ticket. Being a cop is a tough job, not everyone can do. I have a lot of respect for this department and their officers.

My daughter has been taking creative writing lessons at The Writers Circle since she was 15. That is the year we moved to Montclair. She loves going to her classes a lot as it is both nurturing and a supportive environment. Every time she comes back from a lesson, she is very happy and inspired. She loves the kids and the instructors there. She has been doing weekly classes and Summer Intensives since 2015. She was offered internship for the last two years and she enjoyed helping kids at The Summer Intensives. Judith and Michelle are wonderful guiding the kids and supporting them academically and socially. They are amazing teachers and super fun women. My daughter grew academically and socially at The Writers Circle. Her Creative Writing Skills and writing skills in general improved more. As a high school senior, she is still doing the weekly classes and looking forward to do internship during Summer Intensives. I highly recommend The Writers Circle.

I love The Writer's Circle, and I have taken classes there for over a decade. I find the classes are supportive but not uncritical; there is a group wisdom in hearing the critique of others. And when I sold my book, Judy, who is a published author, helped me greatly with some of the technical questions about publishing and such. I recommend The Writer's Circle wholeheartedly!

I wish there was a way to give 0 stars. My daughter and friend were expecting to do a showcase. The event did not happen on the date/time that was scheduled. Despite numerous email inquiries, there was no response from the director when asked about the event. My daughter put on her costume and waited for the event to start that never happened...she was so disappointed when the time came and went. The director finally replied to my email DAYS AFTER THE EVENT WAS TO HAVE OCCURRED, "I am sorry you feel this way". He in no way acknowledged any mistakes or lack of communication or showed any regard for the feelings of the 10 year old students. I will NEVER send my children here again, and would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Don't waste your children's time - send them to another arts school. Bergen PAC Arts School has clearly demonstrated it has no regard for the feelings of your children - stay away

I wanted my 2 boys to experience everything in life so I signed them up for summer camp here. They are still attending right now and they love it! They learn to dance, act, and sing for 3 weeks and perform at the theater at the end. The program is good for kids to build up their confidence and will help them later in life with public speaking (most people fear this). Will definitely be signing them up for next year or even programs throughout the year.

The Renaissance child is a perfect place for kids with so many great , educational programs. I took my son there and he loved it. Every class is a great experience for the little ones. Elena and other teachers are very nice and attentive. We will definitely come back. Also I love events they organize occasionally. Last Spring I visited Easter event which was so much fun!

My 6 year old daughter has been participating in the virtual summer camp and it has been a wonderful experience. Ms. Lisa is a gem. She knows how to engage the kids, even though it’s not easy to do with that age group and through a computer. She’s great, I would sign up for any class she teaches. Ms Lindsay was great, as well, with reading comprehension and my daughter’s favorite was the science experiments every week! Lastly, but certainly not least, is the owner Elena. She answers your questions promptly and really takes your opinion into consideration. You can tell that she takes her business seriously and tries to hire the best educators. I have already recommended various people and would highly recommend to anyone who asks.

My daughter’s Bat Mitzvah was this last weekend, and Rabbi Allen and Cantor Avima did a FANTASTIC job. For many of my guests, this was their first Bat Mitzvah experience - and Allen/Avima explained everything in a very friendly manner. Also, over the years leading up to our big day, the Hebrew Corner was exactly what we wanted: a good mix of religion, culture, the Hebrew language, holidays, etc - all in a warm, safe educational environment. I’d give more than 5/5 stars if I could!

I found this place thanks to a birthday party. Hands down the best one my kid has ever been to. The staff were super attentive and made the experience very fun for the children. I signed my son up for a session and we’ve been customers ever since. I definitely recommend the Messy Artist.

My kids love the classes! Unique station play, sensory bins and cool projects. The station play environment isn't just for fun, it enables kids to work on socialization, develop fine motor skills and an understanding of color as well. Drop in open play sessions are also a great way to experience all the sensory play TMA has to offer. We've been going since my first son was 18 mos and he is 5 now!

I did not like the swim team. I'm not sure about anyone else, but when me and my sister were new there, the coach never gave me and her a chance to swim any individual events. They only have 1 team event all summer, which is a pasta party at the end of the year. My current swim team has 6 team events, plus one every Monday. As for the pool, I'm not a fan that there is only 2, but the pool club I go to (Larchmont Swim Club) has 5 pools. I didn't really think the staff was friendly when I went there. Things may have changed, since the last time I went there was 2016, but I was not a fan.

The school is big yes, but overcrowded. The students are very disobedient, intolerable, and ignorant. I may not be a teacher but just walking to my classes I’ve noticed this. It could be worse but it could be better as well.

I played here as a guest of some friends from work. I used to play here regularly when I lived in New Jersey. The courts are har tru (gray clay). The night I played they were extremely dry. Maybe they were having a problem with the watering system? Based on where this facility is located, I think they could be doing so much more.

Great hidden gem. Har tru surface prevents many impact injuries so you can play several hours without regretting it the next day. Facility has a bubble in winter so you can play year round. Nice competitive play and friendly players
