We are the parents of 4 boys who all spent from pre-school to 12th graduate at FASNY. We lived in Europe, Asia and the USA and decided to settle in Westchester, NY largely because of what FASNY has to offer. FASNY is a truly multi-cultural school. It delivers a highly stimulating and diverse education and offers students exposure to the world thanks to a community representing dozens of nationalities and a wide array of cultural and economic background. The school is extremely welcoming and inclusive. Programs are rigorous and rich and over years kept adapting to modern educations practices. FASNY gave our boys access to some of the world best colleges and universities and prepared them very well for the modern world as true "citizens of the world".

The finest Art School on Long Island. For the serious artist there are instructors with masters degrees in fine art from the famous New York Academy and training in classical art from The Florence Academy on Italy. For beginners there is instruction that will get you on the right tract instead of learning all the wrong things that will ultimately derail you. For the young artists there is a combination of art instruction and fun taught by serious artists who “get” kids. There are lots of workshops run by celebrated artists ( they can fill fast ) so check the website often.

This school and their instructors changed my daughter’s life! She always loved art and It always came naturally to her, but she never felt like an “artist”. She never had the level of instruction or mentoring that she received at LIAFA. Their classes and instructors were instrumental in giving her the skills and confidence she needed to take her art work to the next level. She took the skills they gave her in their classes and created a portfolio of work that most colleges said they had not seen from many high school students. She is now attending RISD, majoring in film/animation, and loving it! Thank you LIAFA????

I’ve been with this company since middle school. I’ve always been met with friendliness and I’ve always felt really comfortable taking classes with the teachers and speaking to them as friends. They taught me the vast career opportunities in the art and design fields and helped me greatly improve my artistic skills. After going off to college, I was desperately looking for a summer job to help pay for the bills. So, I decided to contact them and they were able to give me a 9-5 two week job as a teaching assistant and also contacted me to help out with various tasks around the office, when there weren’t any job openings. Some of these tasks were editing online art class videos, gathering supplies for future art classes, and teaching my own virtual art class. As long as you put in effort, you’re professional, and show that you can handle responsibility, then you would do great as an employee here. As a student, you’ll be amazing even if you’re not good at art. They understand that not everyone is at the same skill level and they’re good at being encouraging and helping you improve your skill. They’re also really aware, sensitive, and understanding of a student’s physical and mental needs. Which is something that I personally really like. While they might not be perfect every single day, I honestly do feel like they’re all really good and kind people.

I found out about The Art Effect through their film program in my sophomore year of high school, and my only regret from then on is that it didn't happen sooner. All of the teaching artists are incredibly encouraging and the equipment is extremely professional! There's no doubt in my mind that I wouldn't have all of the opportunities I do today if it weren't for them. Would absolutely recommend to anybody interested in arts, film, and getting creative!

They are a bit shady towards black students. I walked in to pick up my son and was waiting to sign the release sheet, no one approached me, another parent Caucasian walked in and she was immediately helped while I stood there trying to figure how to sign out my son. The younger generation is not culturally sensitive, but I forgive them.

Two shows watched here thus far. Jesus Christ Superstar was transcendent! Unconventional casting. Good amplification without being overly loud. Intimate seating with good views from anywhere in the house. The only downside is that there are only three single-occupant bathrooms, so the lines during intermission will be long. Concessions available. Ticketing on-site and on-line. Ample parking out front.

A loving, positive, and diverse learning community. Small class sizes allow for individualized attention, yet there is also a wide array of extracurricular activities offered. The Chapel School provides a safe, nurturing environment and my daughter looks forward to school every day here.

Aside from its strong academic curriculum and small class sizes, we chose The Chapel School for our children because of the nurturing environment it provides, its Christian focus, the diverse student population and the sense of community among the faculty and families. The staff and administration are easily accessible and there are many opportunities for parental involvement.

When I went to complain to the manager, this other guy in the front desk kept interrupting me, despite the fact that I was talking to his manager and had no interest to talk to him. All in all, no happy with my experience in there. However, the managing team were really good, they identified the issue very quickly and assured me that this would not happen again.

I have been a member for almost 2 years, and my son attends their after school program. My whole family loves to enjoy the pool and sun deck especially in the summertime when the grill is open!! The club space is modern, beautiful, and clean. The staff are ALWAYS friendly and knowledgeable. The trainers are amazing. And the classes offer something for everyone! The locker rooms are well appointed and separated by Adult and Children of both genders. And to top it all off there is a full service spa AND restaurant! They even have a huge rec room for table tennis and party rentals. There aren't enough stars for me to give!

Had my daughter's Birthday party here. 1hr gym 1hr pool and she & all of her 18 guests LOVED it. Imani & Euliv where amazing counselors. Chef Rodney was very attentive and sensitive to dietary needs. Sandy at front desk is amazing & Manny is a rock of consistency. Best place hands down for a party.

This is a great school. The new president and her administration are definitely making a difference. They are working on the veteran issues so hope to see that resolved. They are active with the community with classes for seniors and access to the fitness center. They often have free movies and lectures available to the public, (at least 4 per week). I enjoy interacting with the staff and faculty.

I had VHS tapes converted to DVDs and could not be more pleased with my experience with Sweeney Enterprises. Denis was easy to work with and completed the conversion in just two days. I especially like the fact that the DVDs can be viewed with a DVD player or on my computer. Each DVD was professionally labeled. Was great to see family videos we hadn’t watched in many years. Cost to convert was very reasonable. I highly recommend Sweeney Enterprises and would definitely use them again.

I'm happy to say I had the best experience working with Sweeney Enterprises. I had an old VHS tape with many memories put on a flash drive. He was very professional and got it done in a timely manner. I enjoyed how Mr. Sweeney communicated with me until the day i received my tape and flash drive. I'm so thrilled to relive all the wonderful memories on my tape. I look forward to using this company again in the near future.

Quick turnaround on the request for the DVD transformation. Mr. Sweeney reached to me via phone and reviewed how the transformation was being made from VHS to DVD e.g. I was impressed with the covers emblazoned on the DVD containers. A nice job indeed and would recommend others looking for these services to go with Sweeney Enterprises.
