And the professors (I.e., not even professors) they don’t even have enough teachers !!! So these are the bottom of the barrel!! A teacher that is online was hired to teach about race , etc, lives in somewhere there are only white people - a lot she knows!!! Also, they are New Yorkers who think they are smarter than everyone else!!! Dorms are dumps and you do not get a good education!!!

This is a pretty campus and it offers an education nurtured by the Franciscans. I am only a visitor here and can't attest to how the school is. But this place is connected to me through my interest in Thomas Merton who taught English here before he responded to his call to go to Gethsemane Abbey in Kentucky. I hope to learn more about Merton and St. Bonaventure University while he was here during my visit.

Beautiful Roman catholic church that has always had an outstanding clergy. The services are always very well done and the effort that is put in is always noticeable. Whatever the ceremony may be, I'd recommend stopping by here.

Love it! I strongly recommend it. It has new equipment, friendly/knowledgeable staff, and clean. My kids love their camp and after school program. My mother-in-law loves all the clases. They will build an indoor pool soon. Yay can’t wait! PS: Did you know it’s a nonprofit? They love helping our community and our youth. Fair prices and assistance if you need it.

Great place to work out I just wish the basketball courts were open longer. The courts are the main reason I go and when I’ll be practicing or playing basketball an employee will come in and say I have to get out and then little kids will just come in and be in the gym until I leave or a little before the gym closes

I trained for my first duathlon with SSTC. I did not consider myself an athlete and I was intimidated by the sport. The coaches and the team members welcomed me in and truly supported me. Coach Bob took his time teaching me everything I needed to know from the ground up. While Coach Bob planned my workouts, all of the coaches worked with me during all group rides, runs and swims. Coach Paul and Coach Liz lead by example and make SSTC feel like a family. I was impressed with how prepared I felt by the time race day arrived. I felt confident and ready. It was a day I will never forget.

Great spot, the hospitality is fantastic. The course is in immaculate condition at all times. In addition if you need lessons see Mike Clawson, PGA Pro. I immediately saw positive results after one lesson. He's also great with the little ones, my 5yr old is taking lessons from him and it's working out great.

Great value for the price. The campus is maintained beautifully. There are lots of opportunities to do things on campus and in the surrounding area. The sporting events are a must see at the Times Union. I am always proud to say I’m a saint!

Solaris is the BEST place in town! Talented and experienced instructors, great classes, cafe, clean facility, etc. benefit the member! The workout area, people and ambiance are amazing! The staff is knowledgeable, patient and friendly! I have been a member for 6 years and have made my weekly visits a part of my routine! I am healthy, happy and fit because of Solaris! This school is wonderful and loving and nurturing. Scarlett and Sonny and their entire staff are fantastic. My boy has been welcomed with open arms :)) and it's so affordable. I can't say enough positive things. ❤️

Not sure how anyone could give the Saw Mill Club less than five stars. Equipment is top notch and always updated/refreshed, sauna, steam room, towel service, indoor and outdoor pools, signing privileges (like a real cc) for cashless purchase of GREAT food, basketball courts, spin area with reservations, great personal trainers with almost no turn over (says the most about working environment to me), child care available while working out, they offer flu shots during flu season, have vendors during the holidays, and have not raised their dues for many years. I have been a member for over 15 years and use the club at least 3x a week. It is unique, but like everything, you get what you pay for. Some things in life are worth the splurge. This is one of them. A++

The club facilities are good, and the staff and swim instructors are friendly and accessible. I do prefer the Saw Mill East facility more, as its clientele are younger, more racially diverse and the facility is more modern as well.

Wonderful club. I play tennis and my daughter does swim lessons. We all enjoy the outdoor pool in the summer. We couldn't ask for a better club, though the snack bar is overpriced.

Camp Cariola and Rotary Sunshine Campus was amazing. I was a camper a long time ago as a child. The councilors were also teachers at Mary Cariola at the time and the other staff were great too. I definitely recommend it to anyone with kids with special needs.

Very nice campsite for specific groups. Not a public place to visit. Lots of options for visitors to do: archery, swimming, nice playground, large cafeteria suitable for 100+ that includes a full industrial kitchen, great space for big bonfire, low ropes challenge activities, athletic field w backstop, basketball hoops, fishing pond... Wow so much to do. A total of six cabins that have large indoor shower/restroom area between bedding spaces each available with occupancy up to roughly 20 per side surrounding the bathrooms. So total occupancy could approach 250 people. Have visited this location the past two years.

I used to play Van Cortlandt regularly. Since, I've discovered this course two years ago they are regularly improving. Liz, Pete, Bobby and Hal are "TOP NOTCH". Played over 40 rounds this year........The course is "AWESOME" for all levels of play! The staff mentioned above really delivers "Platinum Service!"

The good: Fun course with a lot of elevation changes. The course plays longer than it looks. Most fairways are wide open, and are generous for golfers of all ability. The greens are big and offer beginner to intermediate golfers a place to land. The bad: The course upkeep is ok at best. Sand traps become water hazards after a rain storm. The tee boxes aren't marked (blue, white, red, etc) leaving you guessing where your appropriate box is. The COVID: Clubhouse is closed. Ball washing stations have been removed. Bathrooms are closed, but there are port-a-potties near the clubhouse. Overall: Good value for money. Don't expect Beth Page. This is a public course, and is fun to play.

The course is kept well, however the bunkers have dirt, and I was told they were suppose to fill with sand later on. Course layout is challenging and sometimes confusing. Price for the carts went up two dollars to a total of 40 dollars. Specials have to be paid 10 minutes before the tee time, you cannot pay earlier or else you pay 5 dollars or more extra. Range during greens play was closed off when we were there. It's not a bad place, beautiful view and I respect the staff. Since it's state owned there are administrative things that will be learned at the time you get there as you can read for my review. If you enjoy the game of golf then come out and enjoy this place for the love of the game.

In response to request for more consistent public WiFi so that I can reach my kids in an emergency, watch them and work at the same time owner stated ‘people come here to play tennis not browse the internet.’ Manager on another occasion stated that the type of phone and laptop (iPhone and MS Surface) were there problem.’ Most recently, the manager said ‘reception is better outside my whole pointing to the door! They also complained that I was raising an issue. In fact the owner would not even look up from watching college basketball while dismissing me. There are no vending machines for water though there is one water fountain for 20 courts next to stale cookies and bananas (bananas are great). elderly, retired and tired gentlemen who cannot fathom why would a father of two and a professional might want to watch his kids and maybe stay connected to the 21st century!

Great, well conditioned courts, with great teachers. There is a sports shop here with free cookies and drinks. It might be more expensive than other courts however, at $60 an hour for just the court fee.

Mikey Faragon puts together a great high intensity boxing class. I wish I could go more, but the gym moved further from my house and it's tough to get there. Nevertheless, this is a top-notch gym with great people.

They have done a lot of work in recent years to the grounds. Not overly expensive either. Course itself is in great shape and has a nice layout. Very nice restaurant / clubhouse as well.
