The real American college experience. I was there as an exchange student and teaching assistant so I got to experience "both sides". It was a stimulating experience, full of surprises, full of great learning opportunities, amazing facilities, amazing professors and the widest range of courses. It was luxury to be here, I didn't have so many choices and so much prestige at my home university (or at universities in my home country in general). Oberlin is great with its students as well as staff. I have met some of the most brilliant minds and don't get me started on the Conservatory. Everything is full of music, full of art (in no other place will you be able to rent original art work for 5 dollars per semester). The concerts and recitals are great, the meal choice in the cafeteria (although people have complained) is ample and suits every food taste or diet. In Oberlin, you can travel the world without leaving Oberlin. Great ethnic diversity and tolerance for everyone. Yes, it does get a bit boring at times, it is super provincial (only one bar...)but there is still a lot to do on Campus even in those "boring" times. There are great sports programs and science majors, but you really come here for the arts.

It was sad seeing all the students wandering around with masks on, even when walking, biking, and driving. Given all the signage all over the town, I would guess that open mindedness has been extinguished. Obedience seems to be key. It was very much an episode of the Twilight Zone.

i am a black belt there and you can learn so much there i am just a kid and i can protect my self when a 42 year old is trying to attack me also you can learn staff and other weapons

Why anybody would choose this school is beyond me. The administration makes very questionable decisions constantly and care little about the students and more about the money. They're known as the white picket fences because they are so enclosed off from the rest of the world. Many of the teachers are nice however the students are another story. New Albany being a wealthy neighborhood you'll find kids who believe they are better than another for no apparent reason. The front that this school has of its "We are almost a perfect community" is simply not true. Almost everyone there does drugs, talks down on others, and makes the wrong choices. Just a year ago there was an instance of racism on the tennis court and the staff put out this message of "we will find them" yet no updates have been made within the past year. If you are considering choosing this school for your child I would serious recommend other options as this school may look pretty, but most definitely is not.

We had a great day-after-thanksgiving golf outing at New Albany Links with family and friends. Kris Miller and his team are awesome, great customer service. Course isn’t very long but is still plenty challenging. Would highly recommend playing here

I have known and participated at Big League for years, both as a parent and as a coach. They provide great instruction and have worked very hard (especially in 2020) to provide a place for kids to learn and play the game. Top quality baseball guys and people.

Outstanding baseball school. My son as been going to this facility for the last 2 years. We started with hitting and pitching clinics and then progressed to private lessons. Amazing the amount of improvement these guys can get done in 30 minutes. The 2 owners have hired a great coaching staff and they all seem very knowledgeable and great with players. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

A nice golf course. It is the only course I have found that will allow to reserve a tee time for 9 holes in the morning. The course is well maintained which is amazing since we had a stretch of 90 degree days and little rain. Play is fast and we play in about two hours. Sometimes the players behind us may not be able to say the same thing.????

Pros: course is in great condition. Cons: Course is always too busy and slow as tee times are too close together. Also since this course is short it attracts a lot of low skill players, which adds to the slow speed. Not worth the hassle

Wonderful course, tough greens, beautiful views. Some of the holes are pretty tight together, so for those who aren't very accurate (me!) it can be a bit tough to stay on your own fairway. Taking excellent COVId precautions, and very nicely kept. Will be back!
