If your heart says to adopt a pet please don’t look any further than this incredible facility. The entire staff is loving, kind and immensely dedicated. I just adopted a elderly cat who came to Main line very ill, very under weight. Through their love I was able to bring home this amazing, proud, and beautiful male. Thank you Main Line for all your care and love.

As far as the facility itself goes, it is kept clean and the animals look well taken care of. The real problem lies in this business's operation. The phone system is terrible. I had to reschedule my appointment to pick up a pair of kittens. I got a voicemail from the volunteer Dorothy's personal cell phone number stating to text or call that number. I called shortly after I was due at the rescue and left a voicemail inquiring about a good time to come by. She never reached back and emailed me 2 days later saying they adopted out 1 kitten because the committee believes if I really wanted the kittens, I would've put in more effort to come get them. I was livid and responded saying I am finding business to adopt elsewhere. Imagine my lack of surprise when I never got a response back. The customer service is lousy at best and demeaning at its worst. I really don't understand why it is like this when, in my experience, animal lovers are down-to-earth and kind. I will never associate myself with this place again. They basically implied I'm lazy after they neglected to return MY phone calls.

I normally have an excellent experience at the course but not today. While at the practice green, a group of children was being provided information on the game and course by their teacher. As I practiced, the teacher took about 10 minutes explaining the importance of the game including care of the facilities and golf etiquette. I was impressed and thought how helpful this was until the teacher dispatched the children in small groups to all of the practice flags to practice putting. I was unable to continue using the flag and asked the teacher why? He suggested I make my own target and I asked what happened to golf etiquette. He ignored me. I left and avoided making a scene that would embarrass the teacher in front of his students. This teacher ultimately deserves no respect. Hopefully this review is a concern for management who should not extend access to the school group again.

It was a beautiful day at Makefield Highlands. The check in was easy and safe during this COVID time. They have just purchased new carts that were easy to drive and super fast. The course was in excellent condition. It had been aerated the week before. We stayed for lunch which is always delicious and the setting magnificent. Thanks to a wonderful Staff, including Ed Gibson and Jeff, we had a most exceptional day.

always a fun course to play. Good layout and forgiving wide fairways. The sandtraps need sand and the trap on the 15th fairway is all dirt and weeds. The carts often run out of battery power before the round is over. Aside for lack of sand and the cart issues a very playable course.
