Absolutely fantastic sightings of a group of 9 southern right whales. Captain Aaron and crewman Sunny have a wonderful affinity with the whales. Aaron stops the boat, cuts the motors, and waits... He sees 2 shapes in the water and calls to the whales, talking and waving to them... Almost immediately..... They turn and come towards us... Very gently they advance and look us in the eye as they glide past.... And stay with us for about an hour..... Even when we tried to leave, they followed us.... AWE INSPIRING interaction!!! I reckon Aaron is the proverbial Whale Whisperer!!!

Absolutely brilliant tour led by Aaron and Sunny. They were informative and helpful in a very friendly manner that avoided the usual learnt spiels. If you are looking for a whale tour then definitely sign up with Albany Whale Tours.

Top whale watching operator with a comfortable 12 metre catamaran with two decks and luckily there were plenty of whales to view this year.

The staff were very cold and Uninviting. The admission was quite expensive and the space echoey and cold. The coffee I ordered was very watery and poorly made. You are not allowed food which I understand but not even some strawberries (no allergen risk at all). Instead you are forced to purchase mostly unhealthy and expensive food instead. Our stay was cut short as the kids were hungry. Although the facilities are ok it’s not really worth it and you’d be better off heading to a well planned park.
