Played in a tournament. Greens were so fast it’s like putting on concrete. Absolutely ridiculously fast.

Review for 9/12/2020 I’ve played this course before and thought it was amazing and difficult. Both times there was the marshal was on hole 5 to tell us to speed up just to catch the group ahead of us by 20 seconds we laughed the second time (course manager said “ok that’s the way ya wanna play” ) He met as at hole 6 to give us free beers on the house for all 4 of us and said he was just trying to do his job. Second time we went the greens were filled with fungus and we were all talking at hole 1. Not what we remembered, gave our tickets and the lady there said 2 pumps were out... and they still charged us full price??? Other places would of dropped price. Our group has been there before and was amazing but after this last experience our golf league will not be returning back to the course. If you shoot 60 for a piss poor course go ahead but if shoot anything above that don’t even bother unless you have a season pass. NMSU has a better course for 10 dollars less. Some area’s were swamp, bunkers are filled with rocks, for a Saturday Morning we will not be returning

So I drove 51mins to play the course and I was not disappointed. I'm not sure why houses on a course would bother people, if you are concerned about the houses, then you need to choose another sport, it's not as if the houses are in the middle of the fairways. From the first tee box until the 18th green the course was playing just fine, I could only find 2 fairways that were not in great shape and they were not the entire fairways. The greens were fast and undulating, for the most part they were fairly large. It seemed like every green was 2 tiered. A negative about the flag placement is that every green had a blue flag and there were no signs telling you the pin placement of the day, which meant I needed a laser to figure out where the pin was because I have bad depth perception, so quite a few times I played past or short of the pin. After playing in Florida for the past 5years it felt good playing a course with some true elevation changes. The rough was just right not too deep, so you are able to find your ball after missing the fairway. Overall I would love to come back and play again as I had trouble reading the greens and I would definitely recommend playing the course. Also I had lunch in the grill after my round, I had the veggie burger with sweet potato fries and it was delicious.

We were charged full price for a golf course that was no where near in decent shape. Were told that two pumps went out this summer so fairways and greens were horrible. Usually clubs offer a discounted price... these guys didn't. Not what it used to be.
