Came here every chance I could get between 1995-1999 and enjoyed every moment!! The lake was full to the brim then lol... So many great memories I made while there... Even helped lay the pavers between the toilet/shower block and shop!!

Hidden in Victoria's north east, is a Zoo! I was a little suspicious when we turned off the main road into the driveway. This looked like someone property, not a zoo. In this case both are true! it is a huge property in the middle of what looks like farming land. As you wander through the homestead make you sure grab a bucket of food (I would say one per child but make sure the adults do have access to some food too!) As you walk out the back door into the 'yard' you will be greeted by a peacock or a deer or two (they know where their food comes from) Feel free to use the small shovel to feed them but an open hand works just as well for those animals roaming the park. There is a great range of animals to see, take your time and explore. When you get hungry, they have a BBQ area for you to knock up some lunch (or just munch on sandwiches) The best bit of the deal is that your ticket is an all day pass! When lunch time comes, jump back into your car, hit a local winery and then come back for Lion feeding time! For the truly adventurous, you can even arrange to camp onsite!

Had a wonderful day at the zoo today with my family. I had asked a few friends if the 1 plus hour trip was worth it and they all agreed it was. I am so glad that it was and more, it was the perfect way to spend our day and it was lovely being able to be amongst the super friendly deer and roos while walking around visiting the other animals. Such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, could not recommend this place enough

A really lovely day spent wandering around this zoo. Lots to see and do. The animals that you could interact with with incredibly friendly and loved having a nice pat and feed. My children had so much fun. The staff were well educated, friendly and great to have an informative chat with. Highly recommended visiting this zoo. I will go back again with my family.

Horses are very fit but could use some condition on them. Amazing scenery, great food and a reasonable price.

Nice clean showers, well maintained green camping lots. Great pool area could maybe do with some more shade cloths. Would reccomend to all my friends looking to stay at a camp ground
