I was here several years ago and it was a great use of space in the hangar bay of the Yorktown. Interesting Observation: As you know, there are so few CM of H's awarded today but if you look at the ones that were issued during the Civil War, there were an astonishing number of recipients. Yes, upward of one million men fought and died in that war but the reason so many CMoH's were issued was because it was the only medal for gallantry that they had at the time. There were no lesser medals like the silver or bronze star.

Excellent experience and so much fun! I highly recommend it! It's a great way to see the city and get some light exercise without breaking a sweat! The bikes were fast, comfortable and versatile! The bikes allowed us the option to peddle or not to peddle. They were able to go places that cars could not go, places that were too far to walk. We went all the way from Mt. Pleasant to the Aquarium in Downtown and back. We stopped for lunch at Shem Creek and were able to secure the bikes without ever having to pay for parking! Even after 7 hours of riding, the bikes' batteries lasted all day without long a significant charge! I was hesitant about going to Charleston, but Rebellion Roads has by far made this the most fun that I have had on a vacation day excursion, and my family and I want to return and ride the bikes again. Ty was such a great host!!! He is accommodating and courteous! When my bike seat came out of place, he was quick to come to us and adjust my seat as well as give us new batteries to insure that we could keep riding for hours without worry of losing power. He offered to pick us up in the dark late at night, and he made sure that we were comfortable on our bikes and riding bikes that fit us well, before he let us go on our way. Just make sure you come with your phones fully charged, because you are going to have so much fun that you will be riding the bikes ALL DAY!!! If you want to rent electric bikes, Ty is your guy!!! As for me, Rebellion Roads has made me a believer and I now want to buy an electric bike of my own!

We rented bikes for two weeks from Ty to use in Wild Dunes. The bikes were great, we rode all over Wild Dunes, including the length of the beach. We also rode all the way up to Acme Low Country restaurant one morning. As good as the bikes were, Ty was better. Incredible customer service, if Ty tells you he will meet you at a certain time, he is right on time. His instructions were great on the bikes and he answered all of our questions via texts while we were using the bikes. If I could give our experience more than 5 stars I would. We will definitely be using him again when we are back.

So thrilled with my experience with Ty and Rebellion Roads. We rented e-bikes for our anniversary and explored all of old Mount Pleasant and Sullivan's Island and caught the sunset on the way back. Such a great date night, anniversary, or even a family adventure! Ty was super friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be recommending to all of my family and friends and we'll be returning as well!

I signed up at Jones Center to use the pool. Reasonable cost for year's use. Pool is excellent. Recommend paying attention to pool usage schedule so you're not disappointed when you want to swim and pool is not available due to swim team usage, etc. There were other gym facilities I didn't use, but this rec center is well-used and plays an important role in the community--lots of usage by youth as well as adults.

Could use more trees. Parks don't have enough shading. Could also use more walking trails and biking paths.

First time playing Muni and it's a great little course. Course was in good shape (definitely better than I was expecting). Very friendly staff and players. Being so close to the water and marsh the course can hold a little water in places but that's part of it's character. It's a pretty course really. It's hard to make the club house at the turn so plan out your pit stop! We'll definitely add this into our course rotation.

City of Charleston Municipal Golf Course is one of my favorite golf courses in the Charleston area. This course is just right in a number of ways and is a very good value compared to other courses in the area. The course is well managed and maintained and is available most times of the day and week. I have had a really good experience every time I have been here and it has been very consistent in quality throughout the years.

Pretty cool little piece of history. Small greens. The pace of play was pretty slow. Nice course though.

Great course, GREAT STAFF! Enjoyed the course, challenging, narrow in places and long at times. Sand traps were a little hard, but given the rain the day before, could have been expected. Overall a great time.
