MARC is a great organization that offers classes for public safety personnel. All located in a very nice facility within walking distance of several restaurants.

This school is not forgiving They do not practice Grace. They practice law. My daughter was a perfect kid. She made one mistake because of another girl they took in. She was kicked out for one offense. There was no forgiveness, no grace, no understanding. Because of that my 22 year old daughter is a mess right now. She was forced to go to public school and it completely destroyed her. She could not handle real life. She was bullied and beat up. And this was in Parkville! Do not send your kids to christian school if you expect them to know how to handle the world. I hate this school for what they did to my daughter.

We are so very grateful to have our kids at Maranatha Christian Academy. We have had an amazing experience. Our kids have been well prepared academically, but more importantly they have been nurtured and encouraged spiritually. Maranatha may not have fancy buildings or facilities, but our kids have had the blessing of a rock solid foundation that will prepare them for life.

This review is for the Thanksgiving meal on 11/26/2020. We were one of the first ones served. Food was cold, salty and peppery, and spicy. Some items on the list weren't served. Not a meal we want to remember. Most items were replaced, but were cold in no time. A few items were good. Not coming back next year. My wife was celebrating her birthday, as well. The desserts were not double portions. Small regular size to share. We did get a small token discount. Not enough. A full refund is needed. Our last time eating here. Not recommended.

This is one of my husband's favorites. He loves any of the steaks, and my daughter could live on the fried cheese. The only thing I would add (if up to me) would be more Italian salad options for those not wishing for pasta. Their steaks do come with potatoes (not pasta), and there are vegetable sides, but options for a true Italian, yet lighter meal would be nice. The food is well worth the slightly higher pricing. Their bread will fill you so well, that you're likely guaranteed an additional meal with leftovers. Haha

This is my go-to place for a special occasion. I just took my wife here for Valentines Day. The head chef is from Ada OK. He and his team do a fantastic job. Everything is made from scratch so if you have any food allergies they can accommodate.

I've been watching soccer games at the Scheels soccer facility for over 3 years and its always obvious that some of the officiating sways in favor of local Blue Valley and Overland Park soccer clubs but earlier tonight 5pm field 9 between Blue Valley and Kc Fusion was one sided and the most unfair unsportsmanlike conduct by the ref and line judges ever. The ref even laughed about it when parents objected rediculous blantant fouls. Really, is this what its come to to give a local team the advantage?

I think this is a place that does a good job teaching kids serious about soccer the building blocks of this sport. I don't love their new computer system used for signing in to the classes. I don't find it intuitive. But I guess it does the job. I do think they have some great coaching here.

This was a VERY pleasant experience, very relaxing, pain free and dosen't take all day. Get you in and out, will help you with your weight loss. The ladies and gentlemen there has such a warm and loving hospitality in their work. I really enjoyed everything.

I walked in and it felt like a spa! It was so relaxing, and everyone was so nice. It was my first time, and I did the light therapy and a consultation. I lost 3 inches and can definitely feel that shaker machine in my legs! Excited to go back.

This was a great experience! Front desk folks were more than hospitable and made you know they really cared. I am grateful to learn about all the aspects of the program and the healthy way to go about weight loss. Can’t wait to have another opportunity to do this.

I've been using the fields here for a long time, from youth tournament ball to adult slow pitch. The facilities are well maintained and some pretty significant improvements have been made. Years ago, it wasn't uncommon to soak your feet in shallow pools of water in the shallow outfield and corners of the outfield. Nowadays, there might be some damp spots in the shallow outfield behind first and third but the drainage seems to be significantly improved. They've recently installed new fences and updated the dugouts of all the fields and have even updated some of the bleachers. I've also heard that the lights will be getting updated soon which is a blessing for outfielders because they're currently positioned in places that make it easy to lose line drives in them on almost every field. I remember the umps being pretty solid in their consistency when I played tourney youth ball years ago and I hope the same can still be said today. However, some of the umps I've had for slow pitch have been awful. Just this past fall season, I had an ump that I thought they pulled out of concession because someone didn't show up until we drew him for another game later in the season. I will say that some of the slow pitch umps are bad but they're at least bad both ways since they're not showing any obvious team bias. Overall though, I'd recommend playing ball here.

Plenty of parking , plenty of nice fields , lighting from other fields can be tough to deal with at night.

The Metropolitan Conservatory is an amazing place to get lessons an advice on your instrument needs. I took lessons from there for years and it has really prepared me as a musician to be a music major in college. I am really thankful to have had lessons there.

The Metropolitan Strings Academy is great for all ages, from toddlers to adults. I took lessons there for years, as well as played in the chamber ensemble. Not only was I able to meet great people and make friends, but I was able to hone my skills and learn new ones. Now, I am leading a student organization at my college. This place helped make me the musician I am today, and can do so for many others.

Recently resurfaced, new lights with white reflective ceiling, this place is a pleasure to get a lot of good hitting in. Highly recommend it.

Mackenzie was helping my mom and I out and she was insanely knowledgeable and patient after spending 2 hours with us in the store. This is a very nice public golf course, with 27 holes, a good driving range and a new clubhouse and restaurant. Reservations are online and simple. The course is nice and roomy. The greens are consistently more bumpy than I expected. The course sees a lot of traffic, which has a negative impact; the staff does a petty good job of keeping the course in good, but not great shape. The staff was consistently helpful, efficient and friendly. We had a good time and intend to return soon. The restaurant here is quite nice with a commanding view of the course, a big open feel, good food and drink options and very good service. Non-golfers come here for the food and ambiance. How many public courses can day that?
