We currently have our four year old boy and seven year old girl enrolled. The entire staff are very friendly and committed to a great experience for the kids and parents. The facility is always clean and well maintained. After each swim - class session is finished, the kids swim coach makes sure to discuss how they are coming along and gives us a full review of their progress. We have had some awesome coaches! Overall, we are very happy and pleased with Making Waves Mississauga!:)

Really enjoy Making Waves Mississauga, staff are courteous and coaches listen to parent feedback. I would recommend this swim school location. My kids have learned lots of great skills here.

Very clean facility and the smaller classes keep things a little more organized. Some instructors are great/amazing and some not so much. For the price I’d expect a little more consistency. Wide deviation between students within the same class. Little surprised with all the different classes offered. A step up from the city lessons, but not a true swim club.

Highly recommend it! My son (age 8) has been in the Idea Incubator class for 10 weeks now. He looks forward to it every week and can really articulate what he's learning - which to me means that he's really understanding it. Since joining MakerKids we've talked about our experience so positively that three other kids we know have joined!! (2 girls, 1 boy). As an educator myself it's a real pleasure to see ACTUAL student-centred enthusiasm-driven learning happening. It's clear that so much thought is going in to fostering an environment where curiosity is supported and encouraged. Our son is gaining confidence and competence at a rapid rate in this program. We feel so lucky to have found this program. Great free classes to check it out too!

School is good but certain teachers make it a horrible experience (a certain teacher) . This school is just an expensive way of programming your child to be very studious. Academics are great and your kid can learn a lot. However, student favouritism is strong at OGS which isn't good for student's mental health. The teachers were amazing, but now the VP makes them act strict and petty with students. Fortunately, their high academic standards and teaching methods help kids learn better (straight A's not guaranteed), BUT they penalize (incident report and/ suspension) you for trivial things like showing ankles and wearing nail polish. Teachers also scold your child for borrowing school supplies from the opposite gender.

My daughter is 4 and she was in the summer multi-sport camp at Withrow Park this past summer. It was her first ever camp and she loved every second of it. She loved the counsellors, the games, and the new friends she got to make. As a parent, I loved every aspect of the camp - it's location (I could take her on the subway on my way to work), how secure it was (the counsellor to camper ratio was great), and I'm excited to put her in the full day camp this summer (she was 1/2 day last year). Most importantly, I loved seeing her come home exhausted from all the activity from the day - it made for an especially easy bedtime routine:) I couldn't be happier with the experience and would recommend it to anyone.

Having my children at different clubs, it was nice to have a club close to home, that focused on soccer skills and working as a team. My two kids played the house league levels and it was great to have games lose to home and a wide selection of teams to play against, versus just a 4 team level. My one daughter plays REP and the level of coaches really step up with technical trainers and coaches that have pr still do play. Great club, and its truly the best sport in the world. If you are looking for the biggest and best club in Milton, then this is it. Plus their older clubs produce many championship teams both in Canada and the US.

Been with this club for 7 years and couldn't be more happier having kids in different age group... Volunteer coaches with dedication and passion and technical staff with the same drive to develop players... As you can see with the results of all the teams boys and girls side who are doing so well and put Milton magic on the map... So many exciting stories of Championship wins. .. Teams ranked #1 in Canada... Teams recognized in #1 US tournaments shows the talent Milton Magic has...place it be!!!!

Great club! I have 4 kids in rep and cannot say enough about how kind everyone has been to my kids. They are trained at a competitive level - 2 kids in Ontario Cup this year alone and a lot of interesting tournaments. The technical staff is knowledgeable and meets the players at their level and the volunteers are terrific.

We have been with Merriam School of Music for 5+ years and have thoroughly enjoyed our experience. As a music teacher myself, I find the curriculum excellent and the process to which it's implemented extremely effective. Our 10-year old son has loved dressing up and performing in the different festivals and recitals. Merriam offers so many musical opportunities to people of all ages. We have recommended Merriam to a number of friends and will continue to advocate for the arts. Thanks Merriam!

Both my kids have been students with the school at least 3+ years and if I had a compliant, the school treats them all seriously and handles it swiftly with a positive attitude. The school offers a wide range of programs with wonderful teachers. Big thanks to Peter K, Andrea L, Mary F and Kelsey S. Both kids had Miss. Andrea and she is very cheerful, warm, friendly and has a proven teaching method that makes piano theory fun and interesting for the young and older kids.

Both our children ages 9 and 6 have been for the past 4 years now. We have had Alana Merriam as their teacher for the most part and we have been exceptionally happy with her! She goes above and beyond to assist one and is very prompt and efficient with her communication and teaching. She is conscientious and tries to connect with the individual child as much as she can within the group learning environment. Given the current pandemic, we considered virtual learning for our children but then decided against it because it would have possibly meant not having Alana as their teacher and that was a hard no for us! We truly appreciate you Alana so a big thank you from us:)!

You would be hard pressed to find more disinterested people anywhere. I have been trying for more than a month to arrange private lessons for my kids. I went to their office and no one had any clue how to go about it. They asked me to email the coaches directly. I emailed ALL the coaches and except for one, no one had the courtesy to reply. The one who did reply has been telling me for the last 3 weeks that he is waiting to find out what times he will have available for private lessons. This is a coach who charges $100 an hour! Here I am calling this guy every few days begging him to take a $100 an hour from me but he is just not bothered!! Absolutely incompetent and inefficient people who are simply not bothered. Very disappointed.

Oak Learners is a wonderful place for kids. My son attended their camp for three weeks this summer and he was so happy there. He would rush to join his counselors and friends in the morning forgetting to say goodbye to his parents, and that says a lot. And in the evening he wouldn’t stop talking about all the fun they were having. I would definitely recommend Oak Learners and would enrol my son to the camp next summer too.

My son Darius now 9 years old has been attending oak leaners for years! Prior to COVID-19 he went into the Center to participate in multiple different programs and he’s enjoyed every single one. Currently he is doing Oak Online and he’s so excited everyday do meet his teacher and his new friends. It’s been a great way to socially distance but still stay social for my only child. I couldn’t thank Kelly and Oak Leaners enough for creating such a lovely environment for my son ❤️. Highly highly recommend.

As someone who is currently studying to be a teacher, Oak Learners offers a wonderful work environment where wellbeing and success for all students and teachers are truly valued. Kelly is such an accommodating and supportive leader, and all of the teachers are so talented, patient, and helpful. Something I have noticed about the environment at Oak Learners is the amazing sense of community, even during times when we cannot physically be together. All of the teachers take the time to truly get to know the students and build relationships so that everyone looks forwards to Oak Learners programs, whether virtual or in-person! I would highly recommend Oak Learners to students of all ages and abilities, as you will find individualized learning, a warm sense of community, and interdisciplinary programming that has the best interests of all students in mind.

My son attended the Nike Summer Camp last year and loved it. They worked them hard, but after the week his skills and techniques improved immensely. The coaches were great and we even had the chance to chat with Coach Jey. It was nice to hear that he made the effort to come out each day and work with the kids also. My son really liked him! He is looking forward to going back again this summer! I have recommended this camp to many other parents looking for a good basketball camp!????

Location: Princess Margaret Public School. Asphalt tennis courts at John G Althouse were either not readily available or supposed tennis coaches decided they were not into tennis and baby-sat kids in the gym, as they had to the walk the kids 5 blocks from Princess Margaret Public School. Don't bother calling this tennis, leave your tennis shoes and racquet at home. They will just end up playing by themselves in the gym or playing dodge ball or some other non-related sport as they lack the facilities to accommodate any kind of tennis program.

Very disappointed. We registered for Tennis and were relocated from James Gardens to another area and advised it was now a sports camp. Tennis was played once on asphalt and a terrible net. The web pictures of sports amenities were not representative of what was actually played on.

Small hidden gem! Nice clean water and cute lifeguards. Not ever to busy if at all. Nice and clean also. A small slice of calming paradise and they have nice music playing too, most of the time.

I don't attend services here, but my company rents the space for classes and whatnot. It's a gorgeous building, very clean and spacious with lots of great rooms and facilities. The staff are also top-notch, very warm and helpful. Definitely the place to go in the neighbourhood if you need a space for classes, etc.

I've had the opportunity to participate in a few workshops here and always find them to be very valuable. With exceptional staff and spacious rooms, The Second City Training Centre is an ideal place to consider for public speaking and networking training using improv. I went to watch the “totally like you” show it was great experience we arrive 10 mins before the show seating and auditorium was perfectly easy to get in. we enjoyed the appetisers and drinks while laughing at the performances. Overall it was great experience, good place to go if you want to laugh...

"so much light!" I got to help set up for a wedding here as I am entering the event management field. This venue was beautiful for a wedding. It was on the third floor (the ceremony) and then moved down to the main floor for the reception. There is LOTS of bright light coming through and it is a really classy place. Love it! The only thing is that if you wanted a dance floor you may not have much space. But it was great for the wedding of around 100 people. Wasn't too big!

Was spellbound by the amazing performance of Anoushka Shankar at this venue. The hall is very well built, rich with premium acoustics and techs. The seating at the venue was amazing, as you can see the pic I was seated at the side balcony. The view was amazing, and the sound quality was phenomenal too, even though I was seated in the side balcony the acoustics were balanced and there wasn't any drop or lag. Would love visiting this venue for more concerts.
