I go here every year and I am so thankful I do. There are too many good reasons to go here that my fingers would fall off if I tried to type it all. Thank you so much MarLuRidge for being there for me.

Grew up working at this summer camp and I am so grateful for the community and experiences this mountain top sanctuary brought me. It's truly a special place and is more than worthy of a week long summer camp experience, a donation, or even just a visit!

A fair and fun course. Good first time experience. The staff and set-up of the pro shop and grill are "COVID smart". New, no-touch credit card readers were really fast. Beers on tap for all tastes. I also liked the posting of automatic gratuity being added. This reduced hassle and either fishing out cash from the wallet or touching a pen

My family loves Summers Farm. It is literally my son's favorite place on earth. My son has Autism and it is sometimes difficult for him to enjoy the farm during normal, busy hours. He can't run freely when it is busy because he does not know to come back to me or not to bother other guests, etc. He also cannot wait in lines, so there are many activites we do not even usually get to particpate in. Last year there was a sensory friendly morning, just for kids with autism. It was so amazing. He got to run free and play. We didn't need to keep apologizing to other guests who did not understand things he did. He got to particiate in every single activity on the farm, without having to be rushed or having people waiting on him. The staff was so kind. It was really amazing. We were so excited to go back this year, but looking at the website I did not see a date for the sensory friendly day. I called in to ask and the lady ont he phone said she didn't think they were going to host it this year. I explained how much we loved it and how sad my son would be to not experience it. She was so kind and said she would speak to the owner for me. A few days later, the sensory firendly morning was added to the website. This is not only a super fun farm that your kids (and whole family, really) will love, but it is also run by amazing and kind owners and staff. It is really hard to enjoy a lot of things other families get to enjoy, when you have a kiddo with Autism. I am more grateful than they know for this kindness.

We absolutely loved our visit to Summers farm! They were super reasonably prices and had sooooo many activities for the kids and family. The kids loved it so much and are still talking about it today. They had activities for all ages. My children especially enjoyed the log swing which was similar to a zip line and apple cannons, which is the only thing that is an additional charge, only by $5 tho. Amazing deal! The food was also super good, they had a good variety, make sure to try the apple cider slushee, you’ll be glad you did. We also rode a tracker to pick pumpkins which was fun and we’ll be painting them soon for fall. Great day trip for the kids. We are going to visit again for sure!

My son and I enjoyed our round on Friday evening. The pace of play and the course conditions were both good. Grabbed some food from the clubhouse at the turn which was good as well. Would like to see the rough a little taller, but other than that I enjoy the layout of the course. Please keep up the good work.

I called this organization to receive help with my rent. I was put in a situation during this pandemic that was beyond my control; that caused me to loose my income and resources. It caused my rent to be behind. I called in April to get help, and the lady told me to apply for unemployment, and If that didn’t work out call back. I wasn’t able to get unemployment, so I called back. I was told I couldn’t get assistance because, I didn’t have a job and when I found a job call back. My rent is behind, I have had job interviews but haven’t had any luck. I will be homeless soon, if I don’t get any help. I was very disappointed in their efforts to help me. If they had given me some assistance it would have been appreciated, but they did nothing at all.

The concept of the program is a great and necessary to Frederick. However, the women at the front desk are rude. I would volunteer at the community garden and whenever I would walk inside to ask for water I would get dirty looks. I don't even want to imagine how they treat the community members they help.

If I could give 10 stars I would. The X-Project is one of the best CrossFit style gyms hands down. All coaches and members are more than welcoming and make you feel like family in no time. It does not matter if you are an extreme fit athlete, a couch potato wanting to get back in the gym or somewhere in between, this gym is for everyone. All workouts have modifications for all body types and the coaches all are very helpful in helping you find which movements and modifications are best for you. The owner Michael, is amazing. I mostly did one on one training with Kati but took a few classes here and there with Michael. If I had any injury or needed any modification he always had another movement for me. And he always remembered for the next time I was there. He truly cares about everyone who walk through those doors. As for Kati, she is the best. She will push you harder than you think you can go and always makes the workouts fun. She is very knowledgeable and truly cares for her clients. After 2.5 years with them, I am very sad to be leaving due to my job. I will for sure be back to visit and do some workouts.

I am annoyed at the results I have achieved because of the encouragement and excellent personal attention I receive from the team here. Because of X-Project, I have more energy, feel self-empowered to try new things at a gym, my clothes are starting to fit better or I have to buy a smaller size and worst of all, I have met new people and made friends. If you want to change and live a better life then fine go here but you'll have nothing but a positive experience. Don't say you weren't warned. Ohhhh and this place hosts events for members like happy hours or community events about nutrition to further your positive experiences here and to build on what they already teach you.

I was a member of X-project starting around Nov 2015 and left around Jan 2019. I have been crossfitting since 2011 - where I started with a personal trainer at Bally's which incorporated some of the crossfit movements. I have traveled extensively and visited several Crossfit boxes nationally. Here's what I loved about X-project: 1. Space - there's tons of space and parking. Facilities are outside of the gym area with separate changing rooms. 2. Equipment/Cleanliness - The equipment is top-notch. 99.9% of the time there were wipes and everyone used them. Also, the floor was cleaned regularly. 3. Community/Coaches - everyone was encouraging, friendly, and supportive. 4. Programming - The WODs and strength work was released for the week, month or quarter. Each WOD had a purpose for strength, endurance/stamina, or a benchmark. I wish X-Project continued success!
