Dozens of organizations and loads of free samples. Taste testing, wonderful, creative people. All with Etsy and Instagram accounts and online stores if you were unable to purchase ????. Cash and card, and even a ???? in a crib named Tonto, available for feedings and petting.

The concrete floors make my hips ache, even wearing a good sneaker with lots of support and cushioning..

I have lectured at and attended a number of lectures at Middle Tennessee State University over the past several decades. The faculty that I interacted with were dedicated scholars but, more often than not, it seemed like their scholarship was not encouraged or supported and moral was generally low. The students were quite pleasant but I can't say as to how motivated and hard working they are as a collective. It's quite a campus but the presence of athletics can be felt immediately upon entering the campus.

Classes are sized perfectly and teachers are always willing to assist, going above and beyond what they are paid to. However, if you are a veteran the staff will take their time in trying to help and always seem to just pass you along to the next person to get you out of their hair. Luckily one person tends usually pull through just in the nick of time. Will update as necessary. Update, MTSU has cut back student parking this year. Where you already had to park off campus at times because they have horrible parking, making you feel unsafe walking to back roads with no cameras or lights on the streets now that is the only parking other than 2 locations on campus that rarely have availability due to the sheer number of students who need to park there.

Came here a while back from another university to a present a project and I was surprised at how rude the male psych professors got when I asked them both a simple question. I think one of their names was Will or something but I don’t remember clearly because of how much he was an irrelevant, purposeless nuisance in the room. He was also negligent about the cash and had it laying about while he went to do something. I even heard a girl crying in the bathroom. I can tell that they really don’t care about their students here.

We visited MTSU campus and it was nice. It looks better online but still very nice. We went on 2 tours. The housing tour was we saw one small room in one of the dorms and the housing tour was over. Then we went on the campus tour and we liked that alot more.

I went to the Smyrna Kids Safety Day. They had the new play area/museum (don't remember the name), open to the public and the new pool area. The entire place was spectacular! It was good fun for several hours. They have a padded style room for the kids to play in. You have to be a certain age to go up to the top and wear closed toed shoes, but it was pretty cool. I will definitely be going back for my daughter to go to the top. Plus the pool area had an awesome splash pad playground for the kids. It has giant water slides and a pool. There was a discovery room inside for the kids to learn about wildlife and nature. There were several interactive activities to do inside as well. Besides just that, the playground in this park is gigantic. Literally the biggest playground I've ever been to. They have several platforms for multiple ages. There's also a splash pad in Smyrna that is great as well. I think Smyrna is exceeding expecations and going above and beyond to make this a wonderful city! It is truly great to be a parent in this city.

Nice park, but why would we be asked to leave wide open green spaces? I get that we was all trying to figure out stuff during the COVID thing, but my kids needs to get out and run off some energy. Marty was very obnoxious and hard to deal with, wouldn’t talk to me just kept threatening to call the cops. Ridiculous!
