This school is not forgiving They do not practice Grace. They practice law. My daughter was a perfect kid. She made one mistake because of another girl they took in. She was kicked out for one offense. There was no forgiveness, no grace, no understanding. Because of that my 22 year old daughter is a mess right now. She was forced to go to public school and it completely destroyed her. She could not handle real life. She was bullied and beat up. And this was in Parkville! Do not send your kids to christian school if you expect them to know how to handle the world. I hate this school for what they did to my daughter.

We are so very grateful to have our kids at Maranatha Christian Academy. We have had an amazing experience. Our kids have been well prepared academically, but more importantly they have been nurtured and encouraged spiritually. Maranatha may not have fancy buildings or facilities, but our kids have had the blessing of a rock solid foundation that will prepare them for life.

This was a VERY pleasant experience, very relaxing, pain free and dosen't take all day. Get you in and out, will help you with your weight loss. The ladies and gentlemen there has such a warm and loving hospitality in their work. I really enjoyed everything.

I walked in and it felt like a spa! It was so relaxing, and everyone was so nice. It was my first time, and I did the light therapy and a consultation. I lost 3 inches and can definitely feel that shaker machine in my legs! Excited to go back.

This was a great experience! Front desk folks were more than hospitable and made you know they really cared. I am grateful to learn about all the aspects of the program and the healthy way to go about weight loss. Can’t wait to have another opportunity to do this.

I've been using the fields here for a long time, from youth tournament ball to adult slow pitch. The facilities are well maintained and some pretty significant improvements have been made. Years ago, it wasn't uncommon to soak your feet in shallow pools of water in the shallow outfield and corners of the outfield. Nowadays, there might be some damp spots in the shallow outfield behind first and third but the drainage seems to be significantly improved. They've recently installed new fences and updated the dugouts of all the fields and have even updated some of the bleachers. I've also heard that the lights will be getting updated soon which is a blessing for outfielders because they're currently positioned in places that make it easy to lose line drives in them on almost every field. I remember the umps being pretty solid in their consistency when I played tourney youth ball years ago and I hope the same can still be said today. However, some of the umps I've had for slow pitch have been awful. Just this past fall season, I had an ump that I thought they pulled out of concession because someone didn't show up until we drew him for another game later in the season. I will say that some of the slow pitch umps are bad but they're at least bad both ways since they're not showing any obvious team bias. Overall though, I'd recommend playing ball here.

Plenty of parking , plenty of nice fields , lighting from other fields can be tough to deal with at night.

The Metropolitan Conservatory is an amazing place to get lessons an advice on your instrument needs. I took lessons from there for years and it has really prepared me as a musician to be a music major in college. I am really thankful to have had lessons there.

The Metropolitan Strings Academy is great for all ages, from toddlers to adults. I took lessons there for years, as well as played in the chamber ensemble. Not only was I able to meet great people and make friends, but I was able to hone my skills and learn new ones. Now, I am leading a student organization at my college. This place helped make me the musician I am today, and can do so for many others.

This is a very nice public golf course, with 27 holes, a good driving range and a new clubhouse and restaurant. Reservations are online and simple. The course is nice and roomy. The greens are consistently more bumpy than I expected. The course sees a lot of traffic, which has a negative impact; the staff does a petty good job of keeping the course in good, but not great shape. The staff was consistently helpful, efficient and friendly. We had a good time and intend to return soon. The restaurant here is quite nice with a commanding view of the course, a big open feel, good food and drink options and very good service. Non-golfers come here for the food and ambiance. How many public courses can day that?

Brooklyn was great! My daughter looked more confident and excited to get back for her next lesson! Love the facility. Front desk gentleman was awesome as well!

My son has the best time at D Bat and everyone there has always been willing to answer any questions that we have had! They are great with the kids and really want to help them and it shows!

Great facilities, Helpful staff. Prairie Life/The Athletic Club recently acquired by Genesis, and it fits very well in the Genesis KC metro portfolio. Pool facilities (indoor + outdoor) are top-notch. Locker rooms are clean and efficient. (Really haven't tried the cardio/weights/courts areas yet.)

Was a member for 2 years about a 1 year ago glad I didn’t keep my membership . There was some sketchy people that went there too and their locker rooms are old and gross including the equipment. I heard they remodeled and nothing special was done according to some people I know. It’s basically a planet fitness with pools, maybe even planet fitness is better actually. It’s also way too overpriced.

This is a large Church with pews all around the altar. Although there is probably a main entry, it appears as though one can enter in many different places. My GPS took me on a convoluted route; however, it was right on target.

My first time playing the course; in all honesty I likely won't be back. Me and my four friends were arranged in two different tee times back-to-back. After the first nine we regrouped and tried to have a rotation where one player sat out each hole so that we'd only have 4 playing at a time. We were also scrambling to play quickly. The Marshall we ran into didn't like that and demanded that one person drive back and put away their clubs after the non-player for the hole was observed walking towards the green with the rest of the group. The Marshall didn't care to listen to what we were doing, he didn't care that only 4 people were playing each hole, he treated us like he didn't want to listen so we just decided we'd all turn around and go home. I understand that there is a rule against 5-player groups but a cursory glance would have seen only 4 people playing at a time. The Marshall was rude and if he had just warned us to keep one person in the cart each hole there would not have been a problem. I used to work at a course in the area and I'd be embarrassed about my behavior if I treated a guest like this.

I'm a wedding photographer and this golf course hosted us incredibly well. The ballroom was great, the course is beautiful and the patio is great too. All around great for weddings.

Wow, amazing. I don't even know where to begin , the facility is beautiful clean and smells good. The staff is amazing , caring and such a hard working crew. They keep the place clean. They accommodate families to feel comfortable staying there, by giving us cots , showers, or whatever we needed. The grill is amazing , we haven't had to leave my grandma's side much , very affordable and good food. Every day at 3 pm theres fresh baked cookies. The end of life for my grandma has been beautiful, rather than stressful like our many months spent in the hospital.

Very poor layout for soccer field. Parents can't watch from the side. View is obstructed by posts or behind goal only. If you stand along the side, they move you. I hope our team finds a different venue.

I love Synergy! The schedule is one of my favorite parts, there are set class times BUT if you want to arrive a few minutes early you can do so and slide right in to the rotation, no waiting around for exact start time. They just relocated, the new space is AWESOME. More room to change up work outs, video demos at each station, parking garage always has plenty of space and so nice in the winter to have covered parking. Chris&Jacob are great resources and wonderful support for your fitness journey. I have been with Synergy for three years now, and I am healthier than ever. First class is free, come check it out! And monthly membership is a steal, best deal in midtown area for sure.

Chris is dedicated to helping each of us become the best and healthiest version of ourselves. This type of workout environment is SO much better than a traditional gym. The exercises vary every day; the space is clean and well ventilated; covered parking for nasty weather! Chris is always available for personal help reaching a weight/exercise goal. I hope I never have to go back to a large, generic big chain gym again.
