I have attended many sports camps for my kids here at McKenna (basketball, volleyball, soccer). They do a great job keeping things organized and making it fun for the kids. They also have open gym during the week if you just want to get into a pickup game. The price for access for the year is a good deal.

St Lukes Episcopal School is the best school in the City of San Antonio, offering a private and faith based education. I have seen my two children grow beyond my expectations, both in knowledge, and character. We have been at the school now for 5 years, and I have no doubt that it is a wonderful place to learn and grow for our children. St Lukes is a school but it feels like a family, always caring and seeking to take care of one another. Every staff member, administrator, and teacher knows my child by name, and knows who we are, that is one of the best feelings in the world. Teachers at St Lukes are there because of the same principles we have in sending our children there, to make them confident leaders through faith based education. After 5 years of being at St Lukes, I know we made the right choice, and we foresee ourselves being there for many years to come, including for our third son. St Lukes is a community dedicated to faith and education in this new age of learning, and works continuously to face the challenges of changing times in education, technology, and society. This co-ed school focuses on preparing our kids for the future, and in giving them the faith base needed to make informed decisions down the road. I have witnessed the changes in my children and those of my friends children. The greatest thing about SLES is that I consider everyone in the school community an extended part of my family, that being, part of this faith based family community seeking the best balanced education possible for our children. It is true, St Lukes is making confident scholars, leaders, and citizens. That is why we love and support St Lukes Episcopal School.

Beautiful church. We come here when my mother visits since she prefers Spanish mass. Very organized, nice music great priest. I would make this my permanent church but my husband feels at home at the church in Randolph. Totally recommend both churches

In my experience in 5-6 year olds, is no matter what, the coaches kid ALWAYS plays. Rarely subs out players. At this age, kids should be learning the fundamentals and not just standing on the sidelines. Maybe it gets better in the older divisions, but considering you keep the same coach, I doubt it.

My family has been a part of this organization for the past 6 years. The boys learn a lot about football, but also are taught life skills like teamwork, integrity, and sportsmanship. They are also Heads Up certified, so I know my kids are being taught the proper way to tackle. All games/practices are played here in town. Its nice not to have to travel to San Antonio or San Marcos each week for games.
