I got accepted to two schools but wanted to start with a summer course at Pepperdine to see how it goes. I enrolled in one class and before the class started I asked professor for the syllabus, and few additional questions. He emailed me he would gladly speak to me about the class I want to take and gave me the phone number to call. I am not a native speaker and I have an accent. When I called, he was very rude, asked me who I am, and then he said I got the wrong number and hanged up on me. I withdrew the class immediately to get my money back and I decided to go to different university instead, with better reputation. There are other better schools out there.

On September 11 every year the main lawn adjacent to PCH is adorned with thousands of flags. Each flag representing a person that died on 911. It’s truly beautiful and moving. It’s a great photo opportunity through the flags looking towards the Pacific Ocean. Go near sunset.

Personal opinion, may be Pepperdine is the most beautiful university in CA, there is a good hiking area just near the campus, and you can enjoy the beach as well. The student here can enjoy the life in mountains and ocean. However, you may not afford the tuition, I didn't apply this school only because the tuition is unbelievable high.

The pool is a salt/chlorine pool and is very hard on the eyes. The bathrooms aren't marked very well. The size, shape, and accesability are fantastic.

I've on an off been a member here for about a year and recently injured my shoulder. I informed them on the last day of August that was was injured so I couldn't play for a while. They charged me for the month of September, then in the end of September I contacted them again telling them to pause my membership, they said they did, then charged me for October even though my membership was cancelled in the end of August. They have for the last 2 days ignored my emails and requests for a refund. Other than this, the course is great, well kept and only occasionally crowded. The staff is usually very friendly, the food is great and the carta are reliable.

Simply the best!!! All staff I've had help me are well informed about what they are talking about. After going to foot doctors over years, getting casted for orthodics, injuries related to flat feet, etc....I can guarantee you this place is the best.

Such a great place to learn dance at. I would have never had such a fun time learning dance if I had not gone here. Not only is every teacher nice and funny, but they push you to be your best too. Every student is every welcoming and sweet. I wrote this because I got upset with seeing all of the one star review because laba is the best. They also go slow with teaching new things because ( and I am just guessing here) they do not want to put any kid in a unwanted state. Laba is a great place to send you kid!

I love this studio! Never been to such a good ballet school! I mostly do ballet and contemporary, and I love it! However, they do go a bit slow in teaching new things in their classes. Otherwise, this is a GREAT studio!!!

I love this studio. Roxana is an incredible teacher. A truly caring, passionate and talented teacher and ballerina. I finally have a teacher that corrects me a LOT which is one of the most important thing to become a great dancer and with good technique. The staff is very nice and they have a big studio.

McCabe's is a wonderful place to hear live music. It seats about 150 or 200 people max; there is not a bad seat in the house. They host mostly acoustic music like folk, blues, and country. Prices very depending upon the talent. Ample street parking but watch the signage as the Santa Monica Police love to ticket.

Friendly to musicians of all ages and skill levels. Relaxing atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. The store offers a lot of services too, including lessons, guitar repair, and concerts. Don't forget to grab a free guitar pick when you visit!

Instructors spend most of their time socializing to each other rather than supervising and instructing the children. Coach arrives at the same time as the class starts and spends half the class getting equipment set up while toddlers are left alone and Not supervised. I will not be continuing a membership here as it is not a safe and supervised environment. You would expect a higher level of instruction, attention to detail for this type of paid coaching even at the Kinder level.

Love the team and coaches. My daughter always wants to be there they work them hard. Appearance Could be a little updated but they get the job done. So nice to be a part of the team.

Daughter played ASA softball here for 8 years (went on to play MS, HS & College (DIII)). Fields are spectacular -- below ground concrete dugouts! Wooden fences (not just chain link)! Totally pro atmosphere. Coaches on our teams were some of the best imaginable -- never had a school coach that compared. Drew the best girls from the entire area -- West Valley, Burbank, San Fernando, even Santa Clarita. Super high level of training & competition, yet space for every kind of girl. Beautifully organized & run; whole facility is a dream for families. Met lots of great people, parents & kids, here. Great asset to Northridge.

Spacious perfect for playing baseball or softballs and was always well kept. Staffs were friendly too. The best place to bring your kids for them to meet new friends and play balls.

She found a great shoe for me that fit exceptionally. She made sure that she knew exactly what size shoe I needed and provided me choices to compare and contrast. She never rushed me and made sure I was happy before I left. Cudos to Angela! Thanks again and great cleanliness and methodology keeping everyone safe during the CV19 issue.

I just had the most amazing customer service experience at your Newbury Park store. We were greeted at the door by your staffperson, Molly, taken over to the shoe section and she did the video gait analysis and 3D foot map for both my daughter and me. She brought out shoes for our type of running/hiking, was incredibly patient as we tried on many pairs and knew her stuff. I was very surprised that she had on a Trainee badge since she was so knowledgeable. Kudos to your trainers and thank you to Molly who made our shopping experience an A+.

Come for theatre and stay for the community. We've become so much more engaged in the local entertainment scene since coming to Albie Selznick's fantastic show, Magic Monday. There is a variety of performances, including one-man shows (Einstein by Jack Fry), company performances (Alice and Fabulous Wonderland) and Magic Monday which has multiple entertainers each performance. The courtyard provides a cozy place to hang out before the show and feels miles away from the hustle and bustle of the Santa Monica Promenade. It's quaint. It's nostalgic. It's perfect.

Friendly staff and reasonable pricing. My friend and I had a great time riding bikes on Santa Monica beach. They have a good selection of bikes, so you can do whatever type of ride.

Shayna's is a real professional in producing musical theater shows with kids of all ages and levels. She has a great ability to make kids fall in love with musical theater for years to come. My daughter participated in her production of "Legally Blond" last year (she had the lead role) and she can't wait to come back and spend more time acting, singing and dancing. I highly recommend Shayna's academy- she inspires kids to shine while encouraging them to be confident, out going and courageous! And the best part- the kids have a great time while making new memories and friends.

My Daughter's experience has been nothing short of amazing. She started at 7 yo and is now helping as a CIT . She has always felt it is an inclusive environment and has gained much confidence from performing. The staff is wonderful . Each musical is done twice, so everybody receives a larger role for one show, and a smaller role for the other. It is nice that every kid gets that opportunity for a bigger role. This is a truly one of the best musical theatre places around!

Always a pleasure walking into this shop, whether for a new bike, repairs, parts, gear or just to stare at bikes I can't afford. They have helped fix my bike several times during a crazy busy season and go above and beyond every time. When you're here you really feel like family. Thanks guys for being so awesome!!
