We've recently moved to Idaho Falls and were so grateful to have this school as an option for our child. The student teacher ratio is great (about 12 to 1 in our child's class) and the teachers are all dedicated and passionate about teaching there. We were also attracted to the Montessori philosophy which focuses on working independently and at the level of the individual child. We had heard that some Montessori schools are lax about letting some children avoid some of their least favorite subjects, but that's certainly not the case here. Added benefits are enriching before and after care for dual career families and an active and diverse community.

Gem of a school in Eastern Idaho! So glad our son has had the opportunity to go to Snake River Montessori. He had done the Pre-K and Kindergarten programs, and will be entering 1st grade next month. He has such a love of learning, and I know that is instilled from the school. The art projects he works on are amazing and he is an avid reader. We are so glad this school is an option!

Best private school in the Idaho Falls/Ammon region. We couldn't be more pleased. The teachers and staff are passionate about educating children and our son is now performing at an advanced level for his age thanks to their efforts. Highly recommended.

We adopted our sweet Pomeranian-chihuahua from this shelter! I loved their meet and greet room, they keep it clean and maintained well and the dogs kennels are usually kept tidy and free of messes! Thank you for bringing us our sweet Ozzy!

The staff at this shelter are one of a kind. I’ve worked with a lot of shelters as a foster and it’s clear how much these people care and want the absolute best for the animals they care for. The facility is always clean and welcoming. Their trainers are always so helpful whether it’s an adoptable dog or your personal dog. Highly recommend!
