I’d give them a two star for the benefit of the doubt that they at least have a handful of people that are awesome and care about providing a positive service. After playing in this league for 4 years now, I recently had what started as a minor issue with the league. It was probably the worst experiences I’ve ever had. From something as simple as talking over me to being told from an owner that “I need this like a hole in the head”. Members of my team were Lied to about steps the league had taken to contact me about a bill, weeks before the league actually sent me a bill. The list goes on too. The complaints about parity are 100% true. They say fighting Is unacceptable but they do very little to address unregistered players from from playing and fighting. If you are looking for a good league to start playing In or you are a novice player I’d suggest looking elsewhere. There are plenty that are managed much better and professionally.

Best league in New England! Been playing adult hockey now since 2017 and have played in other leagues. Power play is much more organized and puts in a lot more into making the product better than others who just look at you as a warm body with money to burn. Playing on a variety of teams and work with players in they are having a set of circumstances outside of hockey to help them be able to play in that season. Can't say enough positive things!

Power Play Hockey League is far and away the BEST adult league I have ever been apart of! Everyone involved in this organization is top shelf amazing. I highly recommend that any adult, at any skill level, looking to have more hockey in your life give this league your time. Can’t recommend them enough!

As a new ninth grader in 1987 (a long time ago) I was afraid of changing schools: afraid of the workload and afraid of leaving my friends. My sum total experience was nothing short of transformational. I knew I loved theatre and singing, and Derryfield gave me many opportunities to shine on stage; however, I didn't expect that Derryfield would also show me that I am an athlete, and a leader, and someone who loves grammar, writing, and intellectual discourse. Derryfield worked me hard but I was beyond prepared for college and could excel there with confidence in my skills and myself. My teachers were unforgettable and remain my mentors to this day.
