The Nisene Marks Park is notorious for glorious views of Majestic Redwoods and for a year around Creek. It has wonderful walking trails and at the far end of the park past the steel bridge through the narrow drive out amongst open space of Redwood trees and other trees and some picnic tables that are scattered about, you'll find a large dusty parking lot that also has some picnic tables hidden below near the Creek, to of which you might like to have a picnic with your family. In addition or simply by itself, you can park your car and hike along the Creek or scale the mountains for an adventurous walk.

WOW! This is a real forest. Serene and tranquil and they have tried to leave the trails as natural as possible. Hiking up to the waterfall was an adventure and has something for everyone (walking through tall redwoods, wading in the stream, climbing over tree trunks and even some rock climbing). We got there around 8 AM for a 9 mile out and back hike. The parking lots inside the park are small, but you can park in many different areas as long as it's marked otherwise. Some of the trails are very narrow (especially away from the main park) and I imagine slippery, muddy conditions in the winter.

Spent the afternoon here with my 6 year old daughter. We parked at the entrance station and did a short hike down the Old Growth trail to Aptos Creek, lucky for us we discovered and amazing creek beach with a rope swing. Four stars because the bathrooms were from the dark ages, flytraps hanging from the ceiling and no windows, I’ve never seen my daughter turn around so fast! Don’t let that ruin an amazing experience in the redwoods!

I was able to make my purchase over the phone thanks to very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They answered my questions and helped me pick the right bike. I am a big proponent of shopping locally. Despite being a small business, their service and inventory is world-class. Without a doubt, I will be coming back in the future for future bike purchases.

It’s been tough to find bikes in stock during this time. Epicenter had exactly what I was looking for in stock! Elyse took my call and made sure it was what I was looking for. She was awesome. I drove two hours to pick up the bike and the In Store experience was just as good. I’ve already recommended Epicenter to my friends.

Just did a lesson with my family and it went great! The instructors were very informative, friendly, and helpful. I would highly recommend this place to any one looking to try surfing. It was completely worth the money and I am stoked to get back out on the water again!

Booked a lesson for my wife and her friend, Kenny was their instructor. Neither had surfed before and both came away ecstatic about their experience and instruction. Highly recommend!

I have been been coming to Santa Cruz core for 4 years now. Started off with chiropractic and massage to help me with neck pain. With these treatment and Acupuncture I no longer have neck pain. 3 years ago I started to have hip pain did all the above treatments plus Corrective exercise and really helped decrease my pain and improve my walking gait. Recently I saw Dr John grady for osteopathy for SI joint pain that I have had for awhile and after one treatment of manual work I went from a 7 pain just standing there to no pain while standing and a 2 with movement. This was huge I didn't realize how the pain was affecting me mentally. I am scheduled to do PRP next to in SI joints this upcoming week. I will updatr my review after the treatment. I will continue to come here for all my self care needs to allow me to stay active for life.

Core’s group workout sessions are so small that the trainers actually design each morning’s workout to match the level of whoever will be attending the session that day. I’ve been a member of Core for several years. I had tried several of the other gyms in Santa Cruz and I knew how easy it was for me to bail out of a large workout class. When I joined Core, I decided to treat my workout classes like appointments; an easy mindset since the trainer was actually expecting me to show up! Now, when I am not traveling, you will find me working out each morning with a tight group of friends I have met at Core and with Core’s awesome training staff.
